I watched a really interesting interview of a Seal Team 6 member explaining how they choose their team members. He was mentioning that it was on a graph of Performance: Trust. HOWEVER High performance was less important than High trust. If the team trusts you to get the job done rather then you will make it way further than if you're a "good" worker.
