Chapter 1 - A Beast Among Men
This story does canonically follow the story, as Rengoku is dead and Tengen is retired, however, I'll have this take place after the swordsmith village allowing this to line up rather well with the next season. Blood, gore, death, suicide, mention of murder, mention of rape, and mention of child abuse and neglect is within the story, do read with caution. If a chapter has any of this within I'll be sure to add it in the notes and the beginning of every chapter.
Warning - Minor Character death, blood, and slight gore
--------------------------------------
Your heart raced as you ran through the dark and empty halls, the sounds of your bare feet slapping against the hard marble floor could be heard echoing in the vast halls. You walked these halls every day, and yet, they've never felt so wide, long, and empty. Your breath came out in short and panicked huffs as you gasped for oxygen, making your mouth and throat dry. Your clothes blew in the wind that you generated from your speed.
Your lungs burned and your thighs ached but you continued to run, knowing that if you stopped then you'd end up like the other girl who just died before you. 'It's not fair... It's not right... Why is it, that the moment I find love, it turns around and comes back to bite me?' You thought as your eyes burned with tears.
'The man I love, who I looked forward to seeing every day, who made me smile and laugh, who made me feel like a priceless jewel... Is nothing but a monster... and yet... I still love him.' You thought, your eyes became hot as your vision became hazy from tears. 'I'm such a fool!!' You screamed in your head as you raced through the halls. You turned the corner sharply, your hand on the wall to help you not lose your balance. 'One slip up, and it's over.' You thought. Your eyes widened with hope as the doors came into view.
You picked up the speed, your feet hurt from the hard marble that they constantly slapped upon but you couldn't care less, as the doors got closer, the sun that shined through them lit up your heart as your freedom was a few mere steps away. For some reason, in your heart, you just knew that sunlight was your ticket to survival.
Tumblr media
The afternoon sun shined brightly, and the warm air was accompanied by cooling winds and puffy clouds making it a lovely summer day. The sound of children laughing and screaming in excitement could be heard in the distance. In a large field on a hillside was a large wooden orphanage, a playground filled with children wasn't too far off from it to its left, and a large tree to its right opposite of the playground.
Children of all ages could be seen running around on the playground, their clothes all colorful and bright, and the older children could be seen walking around or sitting in the grass as they spoke of what they deemed important at their young age. Under the large tree rested a bench, it was old and worn but it stood strong under your weight as you rested on it peacefully.
You watched the children all run about, you sighed in content before you looked up at the sun, your eyes squinting as you observed its position. 'Almost time to go back inside.' You thought before you looked back at the children. You smiled at their innocence, remembering your own childhood days. You sat there for a few more minutes before you stood up. You walked a few steps away from the bench before you reached for the whistle that hung around your neck.
You blew into it catching the children's attention, you raised your hand and shouted. "TIME TO HEAD BAC K INSIDE!!!" They all scurried towards you, some walking others running. You waited patiently for them all to come, you did a head count as one by one they all collapsed under the shade of the tree, the sound of their tired huffs could be heard as they breathlessly talked and giggled.
You smiled in satisfaction when the last child finally made it under the tree. "Great, all 125 of you are all here, we'll catch our breaths, and then we'll head inside!!" You happily said aloud, some of the children nodded at your words while others were more vocal responding with an "Okay." and "Yes Ma'am." While others didn't even bother responding but it didn't disrupt you. It was more of a statement anyway.
Once the children were all back to breathing more stable, you led them all back inside the building where it was cooler, they all spoke among themselves as they all dispersed to their correct scheduled stations for the afternoon. The orphanage wasn't very big, and yet it seemed huge, there were a total of 500 children within the orphanage, which was small compared to the orphanages that held thousands of children.
There were 15 staff members within the home, and the majority of them, unsurprisingly, were women. Most young women chose to work in an orphanage due to them wanting experience with young children, there were teenagers within the orphanage as well, but they really wanted to deal with the children as teenagers were far too much of a handful.
The young women who would volunteer to work at the orphanage were usually soon to be either wives or mothers. They want to hone their skills in cooking, cleaning, sewing, and dealing with children. It was a smart way to learn how to juggle the jobs of a housewife. The jobs at the orphanage that seemed to always need a new replacement were:
Caregiver, teacher, doctor, nurse, and volunteer. They seemed to always stay open for some odd reason. The person who'd be in that position would always seem to suddenly vanish without a trace, it was eerie, and it kept you on your toes. As a caregiver yourself, this made you anxious as caregivers and volunteers were the most likely to vanish.
However, you've been working here for the past 5 years, so it gave you some form of confidence, but it also kept you on your toes. You felt slightly conceded in a way that perhaps you were one of the smarter girls, and that's why you survived for so long but you also felt dread that whatever was making these women disappear was just waiting to strike you.
It was almost nauseating just to think about. Your job was to just see to the children's needs and wants, basically play 'Mom'. It wasn't too difficult, it was rather easy. The day was usually boring, at least now it was, ever since he started coming at night for his usual prayers and good blessings over the orphanage, you've been eagerly waiting for his arrival every night.
He was the young lord over the lotus temple that wasn't too far from the orphanage. It was a good walk, away from the orphanage. It was just on the other side of the small stream, and the thin line of trees and a whole lot of field. His temple rested there, the young lord whose eyes have been touched by the gods themselves.
You've seen them, and you can agree that they were oh-so lovely to look at. The rainbow colors in his eyes were always able to lock you in a trance. You couldn't help but be bewitched by him. He was tall, handsome, smart, funny, kind, witty, gentle, strong and ever so adorable. He became your new reason to stay up slightly past your bedtime.
It was the director's choice to invite him to the orphanage, with the missing women cases increasing, the director figured it was time to try and do something to help slow it down, he figured that the man who was touched by the gods in his mother's womb would be able to stop this madness... and it seemed to have worked. The women stopped going missing and instead, the staff was more stable... For a while that is.
It was all fine until a young teenage girl went missing, and that's when all hell broke loose. The director was in a frenzy, he was worried about getting shut down, Human Resources came out for an inspection of the place to figure out what was going on, but nothing came up.
Tumblr media
It's been a month since that girl went missing, not a trace of her could be found, she was awfully pretty too, the poor thing she was going to become a doctor too when she grew old enough to make something of herself. You sighed as you sat at your desk, the room that was filled with children as they all ran about playing with toys and one another as they all chatted and laughed. You watched them quietly, thinking of the young lord who came by every night. 'I wish he came during the day.' You sadly thought.
Another caregiver entered the room, and you both shared a smile in greeting before she walked over to the children, you watched as she interacted with the children, making them laugh and giggle as she played with them. You sighed in slight sadness but it was erased when a young girl came up to you with a young boy. She stared up at you in concern and worry as she held the crying boy's hand.
Your heart panged with worry at the tears. "Oh koto, what happened?" You asked the young boy, his large green eyes were full of unshed tears, his bottom lip wavering quickly, and the girl answered for him. "He was getting bullied by a bunch of mean ol' boys." She said with an angry pout. "Oh, I see." You said in understanding, grabbing him by his little shoulders and bringing him closer to you. "Tell me who they are and I'll deal with them." You said in a serious yet tender voice.
Koto sniffled before he looked down and he lightly shook his head. Your brows creased in worry. "Why not? Don't you want them to stop?" You asked trying to find his reasoning. He remained silent. "Koto, you have to tell Miss. Y/N so that she can help you." The girl said trying to help him to see reason. Koto looked up at you through his tears making your heart ache, he looked over at the girl and back at you and he nodded.
You smiled in relief. "Good, so please, tell me what happened?" You gently asked him. He stayed silent for a moment before he spoke. "They said... that I'd bring shame to the family that would adopt me since I already brought shame to the home." He said as his tears finally fell down his cheeks. You shook your head slowly as you slid off your chair to crouch down at his level. "No Koto, you don't bring shame to this home, I feel that you make it ten times better actually." You said gently as you wiped away his tears.
"No, I don't, if I didn't bring shame then why haven't I been adopted yet? Why did my family give me up?" He asked in desperation as more heavier tears gathered in his eyes and his voice cracked. You hesitated to answer, simply because you didn't know how. How do you explain to a child why their family gave them up so suddenly... it was impossible, no matter how you say it you'd make them sad. "I don't know Koto, all I can say, is that they gave up a beautiful blessing." You softly said.
He stared at you for a moment before he suddenly hugged you, your eyes widened in surprise for a moment before you relaxed and you hugged him in return. "You're a wonderful blessing to this home, Koto, never forget that." You gently said as you rocked back and forth.
Tumblr media
The sun was beginning to set and your excitement almost couldn't be contained. 'It's almost time!' You excitedly thought as you helped the children carry their dirtied dishes into the kitchen, dinner was recently just finished 5 minutes ago, and you and two other caregivers were helping the children clean the dining hall. Your job was to collect the dishes and clean the table and floors, another was to clean the dishes and the kitchen and the last was to put away the dried dishes and to check the food.
It was always done in an orderly fashion and with the children's help. This was the last dinner round-up, the dining hall wasn't large enough to fit all 500, so only 125 of the children could eat at a time, meaning there was breakfast call, Lunchtime, and Dinner 4 times a day. The volunteers helped with breakfast and lunch but they left before dinner so it was the caregiver's job to watch over dinner. The volunteers worked only 4-6 hours in the day. They came to work at 8:00 am and they usually left around 12 to 2 pm.
The hustle and bustle of the children around evening was always the most taxing, simply because they didn't want to be put to rest for the night. Children tend to become more rowdy when they are either hungry or sleepy. They move more, they're louder, and they're more prone to tantrums. When it's hunger, it's understandable, but when it's sleep it's ridiculous. They throw tantrums, simply because they're fighting their sleep, but little do they know they're only tiring themselves out faster.
So to avoid that, the orphanage allows them to have 2 hours of recess time before bed. This way they felt that it was their own choice to be tired and not the other way around. However, recess hour in the evening was your favorite time. The sun was going down, making it less hot, the stars began to appear giving a beautiful scene, and the Young Lord always came to sit and talk with you on the bench. It was your favorite time of the day. You watched as the children played. They ran, screamed, and laughed.
The teenagers usually liked to spend the evening inside with their friends, as going outside wasn't mandatory like it was in the afternoon. You sighed in bliss as you relaxed on the bench. "Enjoying the evening I see, yes?" You slowly smiled at the male's voice before you looked over your shoulder, you didn't see anyone as you looked around. "My Lord?" You questioned aloud. "Yes, darling?" He responded in your ear making you jump as you looked forward.
His rainbow eyes were the first thing that caught your attention before you noticed his kind yet teasing smile. You sighed as you placed your hand over your heart. "You startled me." You said. He chuckled as he fanned his hand. "Oops, did I really?" He teasingly asked. You rolled your eyes but you smiled, happy to see him. "Yes, you did." You answered. He looked off from you in favor of the children.
You looked over at the playground as well, watching as the children continued to play. "My, my... they sure do have a lot of energy." He said kindly. You nodded. "Mmhmm, that they do." You agreed. "I'm always so fascinated by them, their tiny and fragile bodies can take so much within one day, and then they jump up the next day and do it all over again." He said as he observed the children. You chuckled at it. "Yeah, I wish I had that type of energy." You tiredly said. "I know I do~!" He said in a happy tune as he swayed around happily in his spot.
You smiled up at him sweetly. You liked spending time with the Young Lord, he was always so charismatic, always so optimistic, and just ready to take on the next job. You've never seen him down in the dumps, never tired, or ever negative. He was just a happy-go-lucky soul... Like a child... He never seemed to have any worries. You wished that you could be like that... You were honestly tempted to join his temple just so that you could experience it for yourself.
You chuckled at his antics as you scooted over, making more room for him on the bench. "Lord Douma, would you care to join me?" You asked kindly as you patted the bench. He looked back at you with a questioning stare before he sat down next to you. "Ahh!! Much better!!" He said as he got comfortable on the bench. The walk from the Temple to the Orphanage wasn't a simple task. It was long and tiring, but it wasn't impossible to walk. You nodded your head. "Mm, your legs must be tired." You sympathized. He rocked side to side, a small smile on his face.
"Nah, not really, I just like sitting down is all!!" He said happily. You stared at him in slight awe, but you shouldn't be surprised, Lord Douma was no small man. He was 6'2, with a well-defined body. He looked strong, and he must be considering he wasn't an ounce tired from his walk. "How do you do it, Lord Douma?" You asked him. He looked over at you in question. "Hmm, do what?" He asked. "This!! How can you endure that long walk after hours of sitting down, I've heard that you hardly walk so how can you have the strength to endure that?" You asked.
He chuckled at your question as he went back to rocking side to side happily. "Simple, I just don't think about it." He said. You blinked in confusion. "Eh?" You sounded out. He smiled. "The human brain is a funny thing, if you don't think about how long something might take, and just get your thoughts lost on other things, then you can accomplish your hardest and longest tasks in just a few short minutes." He explained. You stared at him in wonder for a while before you looked off in thought.
'That's true, it's like cleaning up a large room, if you think about how long it's going to take to go from spot to spot then you'll never want to finish the job, making you abandon it. However, if you get your thoughts lost on other things then you can finish the job quicker and more easily... it's honestly foolproof, but how do you train yourself to just automatically get lost in thought whenever you're busy?' You thought to yourself.
A hand lightly yet heavily slapped you on your forehead making you jolt back in shock. "AH!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?" You shouted as you held your forehead. "Haha!! You think too much!! That's your problem!!" He said, you looked up at him in confusion. "To have peace of mind and to have easily flowing thoughts, you have to accept the flow of life." He explained. You stared at him in constant confusion. "But I do already accept the flow of life. We live and we die, it is a cycle." You explained your hands removing from your forehead.
He smiled at you before he looked over at the children. "Look at the children, they've already mastered the flow of life without even realizing it." He said you blinked in confusion before you looked over at the children. "Children are simple-minded, they don't have any issues so of course they can easily have thoughts to get lost in." You said. He shook his head. "Children are much smarter than you think, in fact, they'll escape a situation much faster than you... Say, if there was a killer on the loose, and you and a child got cornered, the child would easily slip out faster than you, simply because they don't allow their minds to get clouded with constant what ifs and instead they just do it."
He said, a peaceful smile on his face as he watched the children run about. You stared at the children, thinking over his words. 'That's true, I would be too busy thinking about how to escape and what if it doesn't work. I'll be busy thinking about how to save the kid and myself.' You thought. "Children have mastered the flow of life, simply by not thinking about it at all, they know that humans live and die, they're very aware of it, but they don't care. They don't think about any of that, they just simply live."
"They're in the present and not the future or the past. It just simply doesn't exist to them, so when they're faced with a challenge that seems like it's going to take forever, they can handle it much faster than you. They'll complain and mope and cry but once they've gotten over it, they just focus on the present. They'll start off crying about the past, saying "I was playing tag and I want to continue to do so." Then they'll focus on the future and say. "I want to go and get ice cream, or play hide n go seek." lastly they'll focus on the present. "I gotta finish this job and then I can go play more!!" The flow of life is a funny thing as it only isn't just life and death but it's also everyday tasks. Everything has a past, present, and future, and as long as you focus on the present you can get through it faster." He explained.
You blinked as you stared up at him in awe, you never thought of it that way. The fact that everything has a past, present, and future. It's never dawned on you. "Wow, no wonder why they call you Sage of the Lotus." You said aloud to yourself. He chuckled at the title. "Yes, I can see why they would say such things, but that type of mindset isn't easy to obtain, you have to break yourself from your worldly desires at that moment and become one-track-minded, which isn't very easy. Humans get sucked into their lives so easily that they forget to take time out and notice the small things that once mattered." He said.
You stared at him in thought before you looked off. 'The small things that once mattered... Have I forgotten things that once mattered to me too?' You thought to yourself as the sound of the children having fun became the only sound in the area.
Tumblr media
The Orphanage was dark and quiet, all the children and staff were in their beds asleep. A door creaked open, allowing the soft glow of a candle to leak out into the dark hall. Following the glow, out came two young women, both members of staff. One was a caregiver and the other was a teacher. They were both dressed in their nightwear, and they chit-chatted softly to one another as they walked the halls, it was the staff's duty to walk the halls every hour and to check up on the children, it used to be a single man's job but with the high amount of young women going missing, it became a two-man assignment.
"It's so chilly." The caregiver said as she walked behind the teacher rubbing her arms as she tried to warm herself up. Her hair was in a short black bob, her eyes wide and blue. The teacher rolled her eyes as she smiled. "It's not that cold Kiyomi, you're just fragile is all." She responded. Her hair was slightly longer, also black, her eyes more narrow and brown. Kiyomi pouted. "I'm not fragile, you're just old and tough." She childishly retorted. The teacher rolled her eyes but said nothing in return.
They walked the halls silently for a moment before they turned down the children's hall, there were multiple doors on each side, each housing different age groups of children. The younger children between the ages of 1 - 3 were housed with an adult, the children from ages 4 - 9 were housed with a young adolescent teen who was close to adulthood, and lastly, the children who were ages 12 - 18 were able to watch over themselves. Gender separation didn't play a role until the ages of 12 - 18, before that all boys and girls could sleep in the same room.
12 - 18 is where the women were going as they didn't have an adult in the room with them who could help if something were to go wrong. Most of the 18 - 17-year-olds were all stationed with the children who were 4 - 9, so really it was 12 - 16. They walked down the halls, opening doors to the teen's rooms as they checked in on them. The nightly visits were to make sure that the children were in bed and not up goofing around or off in another room, but recently it has been more of making sure there wasn't an unwanted visitor in the girl's room.
Ever since the one young girl went missing, nightly visits have increased from every 4 hours to every hour, meaning two women must wake up every hour and check up on them. The two women were halfway through the check-up when Kiyomi suddenly grabbed the teacher's nightwear from behind in a desperate and frightened grasp as she pulled the teacher to a halt. "Wait, Natska, did you hear that?" Kiyomi whispered in fear as she looked around. Natska looked around unbothered. "No, what did you hear?" She asked calmly.
Kiyomi's eyes bounced frantically before she answered. "It sounded like something tapping." She responded. Natska sighed. "If by tapping, you mean your own footsteps?" She asked unamused. Kiyomi shook her head. "No, not that, it was louder, and out of tune with our own footsteps." She said. Natska shook her head. "You're just paranoid is all, we're fine as long as we stick together." She said. Kiyomi remained silent so Natska took that as a sign to continue walking.
They walked a few more steps before the tapping was more audible and Natska stopped first this time, the frightened Kiyomi stopped on a dime as she stared unblinkingly at the back of Natska's head. "Okay, that's definitely not us." Natska said as she looked around cautiously. Kiyomi gulped loudly in fear. "Do you think it's the kidnapper?" She whispered. Natska shook her head. "No, it's probably some idiot who doesn't know how to sneak around." She said in an irritated voice. Kiyomi stared up at Natska for a moment before she looked around.
They stayed still for a moment before Natska sighed in annoyance and she continued walking, Kiyomi followed behind as she held onto Natska's clothes tightly. Natska sighed in annoyance before she came to a stop. "You're going to leave wrinkles in my shirt if you keep squeezing it like that." She said in slight anger as she glared down at Kiyomi over her shoulder. Kiyomi stared at Natska in fear and guilt. "I'm sorry Natska, I'm just really really nervous." She said in a hushed voice. Natska looked away from her as she stared ahead of herself.
"You've no need to be afraid, it's painless and happens within the blink of an eye." She said, her own deep feminine voice was suddenly deep and smooth, sounding like a man. Kiyomi slowly looked up at Natska in confusion as she tried to process what she just heard but before she could, her world turned sideways, she blinked and in the next second she could see her vision bouncing away from Natska before she saw the floor, the ceiling, the wall, and finally Natska once more as she slowed to a stop. Her eyes widened slightly as her brain began shutting down, nothing was making sense anymore as she watched Natska's eyes turn blood red, she could see her own headless body behind Natska, stagger a bit before it fell to the ground lifeless.
Her world began to go dark as she saw another tall figure approaching Natska from behind, she wanted to warn Nastka of the approaching danger but her world turned dark forever before she could. Natska looked over her shoulder at the tall figure, veins bulging out on the sides of her face and neck as she glared at the figure. "What took you so long to kill that girl, Douma? I shouldn't have had to deal with her pathetic wines." Natska demanded and complained. "Sorry Lord Muzan, I'm so used to playing cat and mouse, plus she was far too scared to just kill on the spot, I like to watch them squirm." He said, his voice carefree and happy-go-lucky as he bent down to pick up the girl's headless body.
Muzan watched Douma's every move with an annoyed stare. "I'm tempted to get rid of you, you're getting on my nerves with your childish games." He threatened. Douma held the girl's headless body like a dance partner as he swung her around in glee as he stared at Muzan with an apologetic stare. "Oh please forgive me Lord Muzan, I'm so sorry that I like to play with my food, I do however feel so honored that you wanted to tag along with me on this venture. If it pleases you, I could rip off my head and give it to you on a platter."
He apologized as he tried to please his Lord with an offering. Muzan stared him down with disgust. "Keep your worthless head, it's already not doing me any good as it is now." He fired, Douma smiled carelessly as he bowed his head. "Understood, My Lord." He said. Muzan stared at Douma a while longer before he blinked and his eyes went back brown but still unkind and the veins left. "I expect for you to have that child in your care within the next few days, am I understood?" He demanded as his voice slowly went back to a woman's voice.
Douma smiled, unbothered by the change as he bowed down deeply to his Lord. "Yes Lord Muzan, I won't fail you." He promised in glee. Muzan stared at him a little longer before he turned around. "I don't expect failure, and clean this mess up." He ordered as he walked away to continue the nightly protocol. Douma watched as his Lord walked away for a moment before he looked down at the blood, the body, and the head. "Man, why do I have to clean it up? I wasn't the one who killed her anyway." He pouted as he frowned down at the mess.
A gleeful smile replaced his pout soon after. "Oh well, at least I can boast about how Lord Muzan killed a human for me and not the others, that surely means he favors me more." He proudly said as he moved to clean the mess.

You walked carefully through the debris of the burnt-down church you once called home. Your eyes held sadness as many memories flashed through your mind as you recognized burnt and destroyed items. You paused when you saw a toy. It was a cute little tiger, and it made your heart clench.
You knew the little boy who owned the toy, he was the sweetest little guy you ever met. Always smiling, always ready to help and play, he was so adorable. You crouched down to pick up the ash-covered toy, you stared down at it sadly as you gently caressed the head.
"Please, please tell me you got out." You whispered as you held the dusty toy close to you. You looked up, your eyes scanning the black burnt wood and grass, it was surreal. You stood up and you sighed.
Macaque walked through the mess with a careless stare, he had no ties to the place, and in all honesty, he was kind of glad the place was burnt down. He stopped, an impassive look on his face as he stared down at the spot. He mentally congratulated the nun that was allegedly the cause of this all. Apparently, she was tired of the lies and the deception.
Her last straw was when the priest tried to force himself on her while using Mother Mary's name to lure her in, and in retaliation for her reality crumbling so fast before her, she went through the place, stabbed her roommate to death, snapped some kids neck, plucked another kids eye out, threw a nun over the balcony of the stairs, and then she brunt the church down.
It was a casual case of insanity, and he honestly couldn't blame her. Too bad she died in the fire, it's strange that they found her in the praying position at the altar, it seems that before she died she came back to her senses and did the only thing she knew how to do. But he was pretty convinced that she was down in the underworld.
He looked around at the destruction, and he hummed lightly in thought before he walked off. Where he was standing before, was a clean spot of unburnt wood in an oval shape. "Mother Mary sure isn't real, but she was praying to something." He muttered as he walked over towards you.
You haven't moved much since you found the toy tiger, he approached you quietly, but he made sure to make his footsteps audible. You didn't look around to look at him, but he knew you were aware of him. "This is awful." You whispered. He hummed in response as he came to a stop a few steps behind you.
Unshead tears in your eyes as you squeeze the toy to your chest, the ash rubbing on your arms and clothes, but you don't care. You sniffled for a bit before you turned around to face him. The impassive look on his face spoke volumes, and you had nothing against it. It wasn't like he grew up here, so of course he wouldn't care as much as you did.
"Why? Why did she do it? Why didn't she just leave, like I did?" You asked him, and your throat felt tight. The wind blew past you both lightly. "Because she didn't have an escape like you did. You had me, she had nothing. The very thing she believed in, that she held onto with all her heart, was suddenly ripped from her in an instant. She had a very harsh reality check, that her whole world was an entire lie"
He explained. You stared at him for a while longer, thinking over his words. "If she did... do you think she would've still done it?" You asked. He shrugged before he looked down at the toy in your arms. "It's hard to say, but these people would've all still died either way." He said. You shook your head. "No!! They only died because... because she couldn't handle it." You said in a light voice.
He sighed. "Listen, everyone has a set date when they die, it's in the book of Death, you have a time and a date. No matter what happens, no matter where you go, you are due to die at that date and time. There is no changing it." He explained. You didn't want to believe it, you didn't want to listen, but you couldn't argue with him. He was always right.
You looked down with a sad stare, he stared at you for a while before he approached you. He placed a hand on the small of your back, pulling you with him. "Come on, let's get out of here before you catch something from the ashes." He said gently as he pulled you along with him. You walked with him for a while, letting him guide you out of the debris.
As soon as your feet touch the grass, you turn around. "Wait, I need to pray for them." You said gently. He stared at you with a pensive stare, for he pulled back from you. You sighed as you got down on your knees. You gently placed the toy down on the grass next to you, Macaque stared at the toy with a tense stare.
You clasped your hands together, and you bowed your head. "Mother Mary... it's been a while since I spoke to you... and I'm sad to say that this'll be my last prayer to you... I ask you to help guide these lost souls in the promised land and lead them to endless happiness. Lead them to fulfillment... please watch over all my former sisters and the children... I hope that their souls are not bound to this world, help them to see the light, and guide them down the path of righteousness. In the name of Mother Mary, Brother Joseph, and the holy child that is Jesus Christ, Amen."
You took a breath as you slowly opened your eyes. You stared at the burned ruins, and you gripped your hands tighter together as your eyes closed tight. Your breath shudders, and your shoulders shake as you silently cry. Macaque waited patiently for you to get your tears out. It took you about 10 minutes, you were grateful for him.
Once your tears had dried, you picked up the toy, and you stood up. You walked over towards Macaque, a small smile on your face. "Ready?" He asked. You nodded. "Yeah." You said your voice was small but strong. He nodded in return as he took your free hand in his. You both walked for a while silently, a strange sense of peace befallen you.
"Macaque?" You questioned. He hummed in response. "Do you think that Charles is out there somewhere?" You asked. He looked over at you, seeing a gesture towards the toy. He stared at the toy for a while before he looked off. "Maybe." He simply said it was a neutral answer, but it was still enough to make you smile, it gave you hope.
'I hate lying to you, but if I told you the truth, it'll probably kill you.' Macaque thought as he stared back over at the toy. 'Charles was the kid who got his neck snapped. One day, I'll tell you the truth, until then, I just want to see you smile again.'

BLOG UPDATE
I'll be moving all my to SFW writings to @geekedoutbunny and all mt NSFW writings to @daddys-silly-little-gem . I should've been posting don't these two blongs to began with but I was tripping hard bro, I hope I'm not the only person who feels that they can't post on the same blog when they have a different anime they're hyperfocusing on. I just suddenly felt that I couldn't post for other fandoms so suddenly and stop writing for another, I hope that makes sense.
So I'll moving my work to my original blogs @geekedoutbunny and @daddys-silly-little-gem

You were relaxing in your home, your feet tucked under your legs as you drank a warm cup of tea, you were deep in thought as you stared on into the distance from within your cozy hut. A fire was going on in the pit with a small cauldron hovering above it, it had about an inch of water within it, the water inside coming to a nice boil. You sighed as you swallowed some of your tea.
The sunset was ever so beautiful as you lost yourself in a trance. You blinked, breaking your trance and you looked over at the cauldron, seeing the water boiling nicely. You hummed, pleased to see the water rolling and bubbling.
You placed your tea down on the circular wooden saucer gently, you then turned to your left and you picked up the saibashi chopsticks, you adjusted them properly in your hand before you picked up an undone dumpling, you gently placed it in the hot water, you had about 4 of them, ready to boil. Once they were all in you placed the lid over the cauldron, allowing them to steam and boil.
Your ears twitched and you looked out into the distance once more, you stared intensely as you could hear a group of footsteps and voices. They all sounded rather young, and they sounded relaxed yet tired. You stood up, dusting off your clothes as you made yourself presentable, but in the middle of your fixing, your eyes wide and your ears perked up, a very familiar yet not forgotten voice sounded out from the crowd that was approaching your home.
You looked out into the distance, your eyes gleaming in hope as you waited for the figures to curve up from the hill. You waited with clenched hands over your fast heart, as the group walked up the hill, you could make out a large animal, and two figures walking next to it along with a small child-like figure.
Your eyes widen and they shined with unshed tears as you made out the familiar red clothing and silver hair. You ran out from the hut, your eyes trained on the young man as you ran towards the group. The small child noticed you approaching and he alerted the others.
They all looked at you with curious stares, and your arms opened wide once you got closer. “INUYASHA!!” You cried out in joy as you wrapped your arms around his chest, your arms went under his and your fingers latched onto his red suikan. Your face pressed into his chest and shoulder, and your tears stained his top, but he didn’t seem to care as he wrapped his arms around you tightly in return.
You could feel how much he had grown, it felt almost like a dream how strong he felt, he was nothing but a young teen the last time you hugged him like this, he wanted to go out and venture off on his own, and you gave him a hug as a final goodbye, telling him that he can always come home for a hot meal and a warm and ready bed.
“Oh, Inuyasha, I missed you so much, there wasn’t a day that went by that I never thought about you. I’ve been so worried, but I know that you’re strong.” You said, your voice wavering as you tried not to sob. He held you tighter. “I know, but you ain’t got to worry…. I’m sorry…. I should’ve checked in on you.” He said, his voice was still the same, just with a bit more base and a natural growl to it. It almost made you want to cry, realizing how much of his life has gone by.
You shook your head, as you pulled back from him, your eyes shined full of motherly love as you stared up at him. “You’ve no need for an apology, you were trying to find your place in the world, so I understand why you left.” You said, your voice full of understanding. His yellow eyes bounced back and forth between yours, he may be grown, but he still held that same love and respect for you. It took you back to his younger days when he was just a child, his eyes haven’t changed. He was still your baby boy.
You blinked and you stared up at them with a baffling look, he blinked in confusion at your stare. “W-what?” He asked as he stared down at you. You stepped up on your tip-toes, your hands gently caressing his cheeks. He stared down at you with a dazed look, but he didn’t stop you. You suddenly pinched his cheeks and you pulled on them. “OW! OWW! STOP THAT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” He shouted in pain as he gently yet firmly grabbed your wrists as he tried to pry your hands off. You pulled his cheeks apart in different directions before you let them go and you gave both of his cheeks a good smack.
He stepped back some as he rubbed his cheek with one of his hands as he gave you a half-hearted glare. “What the heck was that for?” He asked, his voice held irritation. You gave a pleased smile before you placed your hands on your hips before you nodded in satisfaction. “Mmhmm, there we go!! I missed those rosy cheeks of yours!!” You said, he blinked in confusion. “Rosy?” He asked.
You nodded. The small child you had seen before questioned aloud. “Inuyasha had rosy cheeks?” He asked, his little voice made your heart clench from how cute he sounded, you looked over at him, he was sitting in the young girl's arms, and he was nested in her arms as she cradled him. His bright green eyes made you nearly squeal at how cute he was. His big blue bow in his ginger hair was just too cute. His sharp ears and little fangs indicated that he was a demon child, but you already knew that from his scent. You smiled at him, nodding at his question.
“That’s right when he was younger, he had the cutest rosy cheeks!! They were always either pink or shy of red, I just couldn’t bare to see him without them any longer!!” You explained as you gushed at the memory. He growled from behind you as you retold the memories of his cheeks that he himself must’ve forgotten. The small boy stared up at you before he gave a smug smirk over at Inuyasha. “I never knew that Inuyasha had girly cheeks.” He said in a teasing voice.
Inuyasha glared over at him. “WHAT YOU SAY!?” He shouted as he stomped but made no advance towards him. The girl holding him stared at Inuyasha with an observatory stare. “You know, it is kind of cute.” She said, he stepped back at her comment. “W-WHAT!?” He called out, the woman on the large feline also gave him the same stare. “I agree with, Kagome, it surprisingly fits you.” She said, Inuyasha stared at her with a look of disbelief. The Monk behind her nodded his head in agreement. “It suits your human qualities.” He said.
Inuyasha grumbled as he turned away from the group, he pulled his sleeve down over his hand as he scrubbed at his cheeks, trying to get rid of the redness, unknowingly making it redder. You chuckled at his actions, as you rubbed his back soothingly. You continued rubbing his back as you looked back over at the group, finally taking them in. They all stared at your action with a questioning stare.
You eyed their clothing, they all seemed normal, aside from the girl holding the boy. She wore a small green cloth, and long white socks with large leather covering over her feet. She wore a long white sleeve piece of fitted clothing with a green pattern on it, and a red cloth tied around her neck.
Your nose twitched as you blinked. “You’re not from around here, are you?” You asked aloud, they all looked over at you, and the girl blinked before she gave you a slightly nervous smile. “Umm, yeah, you’re not wrong.” She said. You smiled at her, you could tell that she was young, your motherly instinct blooming to life. “No need to be nervous dear, I don’t bite.”
You gently said as you tried to calm her, it seemed to work, the warmth in your eyes matched your smile and she seemed to relax. You chuckled, your eyes closing as you looked back at Inuyasha who still had his back toward everyone. “Inuyasha, won’t you invite your friends inside? I was just about to make some steamed dumplings.” You suggested. His ears slightly twitched and he stood up straighter.
You gave a sly smile his way. “I was also about to make some sashimi, with some steamed dumplings and rice.” You said as you turned towards the hut. He turned towards you, his eyes slightly widen. “Sashimi?” He asked, you held in your giggle at his cuteness that he never seemed to lose. “Sashimi.” You confirmed. He stood there a little longer before he looked at his small group. “Well, you guys heard her, get inside.” He said. You shook your head at his rudeness, but he’s always been this way.
You walked on towards the hut, as you listened to the lot of them bicker amongst themselves…
The sun has fully vanished, and with her, she took her bright light, and in her stead, the moon and all her followers appeared. The straw curtain to your hut was drawn, closing the doorway to the hut, shielding your privacy from the world. The rice was being cooked over the flames in the cauldron, you made more steamed dumplings and sashimi.
You were steering the rice in the cauldron gently, so as to not make the rice mushy. Inuyasha, Miroku, and Shippo were all sitting by the door of the hut, while You, Kagome, and Sango were all helping to prepare the meal. When they all first entered, they all introduced themselves to you. You were surprised that they have yet to ask whom you were to Inuyasha, but they could tell that you were very important.
Once the majority of the food was done, both Kagome and Sango sat down with you around the fire, as they quietly conversed with you, while you steered the rice. “So, if it isn’t rude of me to ask, who are you to Inuyasha?” Sango asked. Everyone looked over at you, curious eyes stared at you as they all waited patiently for you to answer. You’ve been waiting for this question, and you gently placed the wooden spoon down on the setting stone to keep the water from molding your tatami floors.
“I don’t mind at all, in fact, I’m shocked that Inuyasha hasn’t yet spoken of me.” You said, your voice even while a motherly warmth spread from you. Kagme stared at you for a moment, before she gasped as if she placed together a long-awaited thought together. You smiled at her as a knowing gleam came into your eyes. “My name is (Y/N), and I am Inuyasha’s adoptive mother.” You explained as you bowed in a proper greeting.
They all stared at you in shock before they all looked over at Inuyasha who had his eyes closed, his sword cradled in his arms, but his ears twitched to show that he was listening. They all looked back over at you. “YOU’RE HIS WHAT!?” They all shouted. You sat back up before you gave them all a small giggle.

The Itadori 'household' was quiet this afternoon. It was calm and serene. Megumi sat on the small loveseat, he and Yuji recently bought for Yuji's room. He was stretched out on it, his back rested against the arm of it while his feet rested on the other arm. In his hands he held a book, he was reading up on curse possessions. So far, he was the only one in the dorm room. Megumi has gotten into the habit of staying in Yuji's room, it just felt homier, they've even thought about just moving him into the room altogether at this point. Some of his clothes were in Yuji's drawers, he had an extra toothbrush here, along with some of his own shoes and an extra Jujutsu outfit.
His eyes slowly trailed up before he looked over towards the bed, on the small bedside table he looked at the clock. '11:57 am... Yuji left 2 hours ago... he said it shouldn't take him long.' Megumi thought before he looked back down at the book, his eyes trailing over the words but he wasn't actually reading. Instead, he was thinking back to this morning.
Megumi sighed as he entered Yuji's room, or what Yuji liked to call it. 'The Itadori Household' He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked around the area. It was quiet, aside from the minor bumps coming from Yuji's room. He closed the door behind him and walked over to Yuji's room. "Yuji, I'm coming in. You better not be doing anything weird." He warned as he opened the door. On the floor, he could see Yuji sliding on his second sock. "Oh, hey Megmi!!" Yuji said in a happy voice as he looked back at him with a cute little wave. Megumi stared down at him with a deadpanned stare as he observed him. "Where are you going?" He asked, ignoring Yuji's greeting.
Yuji didn't seem bothered by the fact that his greeting went ignored and instead, he stood up with a happy little hop. "I'm on my way out to the store, I gotta get some more groceries!! Wanna come!?" He said as he flashed Megumi with a bright smile. Megumi stared at him for a moment before he looked off from Yuji and he walked over to the small love seat. "No, I honestly don't have the energy for such a tedious venture." He said as he plopped down. Yuji pouted at him as he dropped to his knees and he crawled over to the seat. "Awww!! Come on Megmi!! It'll be like a date!! I'll even get you your favorite snacks!!" He said as he finished in a sing-song voice, placing his hands cutely on the edge of the loveseat.
Megumi stared at him for a moment before laying back against the seat's arm while he kicked his legs up on the opposite end. "You can buy my favorite snacks without me being there. Besides that's the shittest date ever." He said in his usual monotone voice. Yuji clenched his eyes shut as he clapped his hands over his head. "OH COME ON MEGMI!! WE HAVEN'T GONE ON A DATE IN A WHILE!! PLUS THIS'LL BE THE BEST EXCUSE TO HANG OUT TOGETHER!!" He cried as he pleaded with him. Megumi stared at him unamusedly before he fanned him off tiredly. "I'm too tired to even think about going on a date, besides, we can just lay on the couch together when you get back." He explained.
Yuji stared at him for a moment before he beamed at him happily. "AWWW!! MEGMI!!!" He cooed as he threw himself on top of Megumi, wrapping his arms around his tightly. Megumi pulled away from him, an irked look on his face. "Yes, yes, now get off, you're heavy." He complained as Yuji ignored him in favor of squeezing him tighter. Once Yuji got his hug, and a kick to the stomach from Megumi, he was ready to leave. They stood in the small space between the Kitchen and the Door. Yuji stood with his back to Megumi, as he pulled his shoes on. His usual Jujutsu school outfit was on. "Whelp, I'll be off, don't wait up for me too long!!" Yuji said as he shot Megumi his million-dollar smile and a thumb up.
Megumi's face stayed passive but his heart fluttered at the sight of it. His cheeks warmed as he frowned in false irritation. "I won't be 'waiting up' for nothing. You're just going to the store and back." He said. Yuji kept his smile as he agreed with Megumi. "Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't be long." He said as his smile softened. Megumi's eyes slightly widen before he looked away and his blush darkened. "Whatever, just get going already." He said. Yuji chuckled as he leaned towards Megumi and he gave his cheek a sweet kiss. "I'll be back soon!!" He said happily.
'That was almost over 2 hours ago now... what if he's gotten into trouble? What if Sukuna took over?' Megumi thought, as his mind was plagued with worrying thoughts. His grip on the book tightened and he closed it as he sat up on the small loveseat. "I should go check up on him." He said aloud to himself. He sat there a little longer before he nodded to himself, placed the book on the loveseat next to him, and stood up. He walked over to the room door. With a determined face, he walked across the kitchen and towards the room door. He quickly pulled his shoes from the shoe box and put them on. He stomped his foot, making sure they were on tight. 'Now, let's go.' He thought as he opened the door.
His eyes widened as he stopped mid-step. He blinked a few times as he looked at Yuji's sweet smile. "Hey, Megmi!! I'm back with the groceries!!" He proudly and happily said as he held up the bags. Megumi stared at him intensely, his eyes shining in relief. Yuji blinked in confusion from the look on Megumi's face. "What's wrong, Megmi? You feeling okay?" He asked him, as he leaned towards him to get a better look at him. Megumi took in a small breath and he reached forward. Yuji's eyes widen when he felt Megumi's arms wrap around his neck tightly. "Megmi?" He asked in confusion. Megumi's grip tightened, and Yuji's eyes widened before they softened. He let the bags go, allowing them to drop to the wooden floor with a soft thump, as he wrapped his arms around Megumi.
"Megmi. You alright? Did something happen?" He asked in a soft voice. Megumi gave a shaky breath in response before he pulled back from the hug. He stared at Yuji, his stare unreadable. Yuji stared back at him in anticipation. Megumi raised his arm, and with a swing, he smacked his fist on top of Yuji's head. "OW!!! WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR!?" Yuji yelled in pain as he jumped back while holding his head. He glared at Megumi as a small bump was forming. Megumi gave him an irked glare in return. "Where the hell have you been?" He asked. Yuji continued to glare at him as he shouted back in confusion and anger. "I WAS AT THE FREAKING STORE!! WHERE ELSE? YOU PSYCHOPATH!?" He said. Megumi's glare sharpened.
"Not that!! Why the hell did it take you 2 damn hours!?" He yelled back. Yuji's glare softened some as he gave him a confused stare. "I was out grocery shopping. It's not exactly a fast and easy task ya know." He said as he rubbed his head. Megumi looked down at the bags, there were four in total, and an assortment of foods was within each bag. One with vegetables, one with meat, one with finger food and drinks, and the last with snacks. He looked back up at him. "It took you two hours, for this?" He asked in an unamused tone as he pointed down at the bags. Yuji crossed his arms as he turned his nose up and closed his eyes. "Yes, it did. I wanted to get the best for you because you deserve it." He explained in a factual tone. Megumi's glare lifted completely and he stared at Yuji with a wide-eyed stare as a blush came across his cheeks, and he looked away.
"Don't shop so needlessly, save your money and just buy what you usually buy. I like the way you normally shop anyways." He said in a soft voice as he picked up the bags. Yuji looked at him with a blank stare for a moment, as he blinked a few times in question before he beamed at him brightly. "MEGMI!!! YOU'RE SO SWEET!!" He cooed as he wrapped his arms around him. Megumi gave an irked look as he tried to pull away from Yuji, the bags in his hands preventing him from pushing him away. "Ugh, what are you doing!? Get off of me!!" He shouted in irritation as he somehow managed to turn around in Yuji's tight grip. "THAT WAS THE CUTEST THING YOU'VE SAID TO ME IN A WHILE!!" Yuji continued to coo as he walked with a staggering Megumi into the kitchen as he kicked the door close behind him
"Get off, Yuji, I gotta put the food away!!" Megumi said in annoyance as he staggered further into the kitchen. "BUT THIS IS A MOMENT THAT I MUST SOAK IN!!" He whined in response. Megumi grumbled to himself as he stopped struggling. He placed the bags on the counter and reached up to grab Yuji's arm. He was about to pull on it, but he stopped and instead, he held on tighter to his arm. 'I was so worried, and about nothing... I should've known that he'd be fine... he's strong... but." He thought as he trailed off, he looked over at Yuji's happy face that was placed on his shoulder. 'I can't help but worry about you. I want to keep your smile safe. I want to keep your laughter loud. I want to keep your body warm.' He thought as he nuzzled into the embrace as he closed his eyes.
'I never want to lose you.'

It was another normal day in the dorms. The Itadori household was lively as usual. The Tv was on and the volume was low but it could still be heard. The curtains were drawn, making the room darker. Both Yuji and Megumi lay on the bed together, Megumi lay on his back while Yuji lay on his chest, the blanket over them as they were entranced into the show. It was the weekend, a Saturday at that. It was cloudy out, making the room darker than usual with the curtains drawn.
Megumi sighed as he rubbed a hand over his eyes tiredly. "Get up for a moment, Yuji, I gotta use the bathroom." He said as his arm flopped back down by his side. Yuji's arms wrapped around Megumi tighter as he snuggled closer to him. Megumi's eyebrow twitched in irritation. "Yuji. Get off, I need to use the restroom." He said in an irked voice. He was trying to stay calm because he knew that Yuji was a hardcore cuddler and once he was comfortable he wasn't moving.
Yuji whined as he nuzzled his face into Megumi's chest. "But I just got suuuuuuper comfortable, and I don't wanna move!!" He whined. Megumi's brow twitched as his hand clenched into the back of Yuji's shirt. "GET THE HELL OFF ME!!!" He shouted as he tugged at Yuji's shirt, but Yuji's grip was strong. "NO!! I WANNA STAY WITH YOU!!! IF YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM THEN YOU'RE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE ME WITH YOU!!" He shouted back as he held tighter onto Megumi.
"HUH!? HOW AM I GOING TO DO THAT!? I NEED TO PEE YOU, MORON!!" He shouted as he squirmed over the mattress, the blanket fell off the bed from Megumi kicking and bucking his body up, causing it to hit the floor in the process. In retaliation, Yuji wrapped his legs around Megumi, making his chances better at staying latched. "JUST LET ME CLIMB ONTO YOUR BACK!!" He shouted back as Megumi rolled around on the bed with Yuji still latched onto him. "JUST LET ME USE THE RESTROOM LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!" Megumi shouted back as he rolled onto the floor.
Yuji's back hit the floor and he grunted but he didn't let go, he instead maneuvered himself on Megumi's body as they rolled around, until he was on his back. Megumi stared ahead of himself with an angered glare as he rested on his hands and knees. Yuji sat up on his back in triumph, his arms crossed as he nodded his head. "See!! You just do your business, and I'll chill out on your back." He said in a factual tone. Megumi slowly looked back at Yuji, a vein on his forehead as he glared back at him.
Yuji's proud smile dulled down to a simple smile and a blank stare before he gave a closed eye smile and he gave Megumi and thumbs up. "I'll keep your back warm as you go." He said trying to make it sound negotiable. Megumi glared at him for a moment longer before he rolled his eyes and he moved to stand. "Woah!!" Yuji cried out as he flared his arms to keep his balance before he wrapped his arms around Megumi's neck and he gave a happy chuckle. Megumi grumbled under his breath as he hooked his arms under Yuji's legs as he stood up. "Whatever, just don't be annoying with it." He said as he walked over to the bathroom. Yuji nuzzled his cheek into Megumi's as he chuckled victoriously.
"Don't worry, I won't!!" He said happily. Megumi shook his head in annoyance, but he gave a small little smile. 'He's annoying, but I love him.' He thought as he closed the door behind them. It wasn't long before chaos ensured from behind the closed door. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" Megumi shouted in anger and confusion. "I heard that it's good for us guys and that it makes it easier to release." Yuji said in a convincing tone. "HOW THE HELL IS THAT GOING TO HELP ME!? YOU'RE JUST MAKING IT HARD TO FOCUS!!" Megumi shouted back in anger. "Nah!! Just trust the process!!" Yuji said in a happy tone. "WHAT PROCESS!? THE PROCESS OF YOU MAKING A MESS!?" Shouted Megumi. Silence followed for a moment before a bump was heard.
"OWW!! MEGMI!!! WHY!?" Yuji shouted in pain as he sounded betrayed. "DON'T PLAY INNOCENT!! YOU SAID THAT YOU'D LET ME USE IT IN PEACE, SO LET ME DO JUST THAT!!" Megumi shouted. Yuji whined in return. "BUT I WAS TRYING TO HELP!!" He said. "YOU CAN HELP BY NOT 'HELPING'!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU JUST 'KEEPING MY BACK WARM'!?" Megumi shouted in anger. "Oh yeah, I did say that." Yuji said in a distant voice. Silence followed for a moment before Megumi spoke. "Of course, you'd forget." He said as the sound of water falling into the toilet sounded out. "I can still keep your back warm if you'd like." Yuji offered. "No, it's too late, I'm already done." Megumi said as he flushed the toilet.
"Then let me keep your back warm on the way out!!" Yuji proposed in a happy voice. Megumi huffed in annoyance as the doorknob twisted. "What would be the point?" He asked as he moved to open the door, but it quickly slammed shut with a loud bang. "Oops." Yuji said sheepishly. Megumi grunted in pain. "Ahhh, what the hell you do that for?" He asked in a strained voice. "I'm sorry Megmi!! I was just trying to jump on before you left." He said in a sad voice. Megumi huffed before he opened the door. He was holding onto his forehead as he irritably walked to their bed, while Yuji followed behind with a concerned face. "I said sorry." Yuji said in a small voice. Megumi walked to the bed and he sat down, Yuji sat next to him. "It's fine, don't worry about it." He said as he rubbed his forehead.
Yuji silently leaned his head against Megumi's shoulder with a sad look on his face as he hugged him to his side. Megumi sighed as he looked over at Yuji and his annoyed glare softened. 'He's a moron, but he's my moron.' He lovingly thought as he leaned back into Yuji.

-----------------------------------
The kitchen in the 'Itadori Household' was very lively today. Megumi was chopping up vegetables. He just finished cutting up the pork and placing it into the fryer to fry, and now he was cutting the cabbage. His phone was hooked up to the Bluetooth speaker, playing music in the background as he worked. The music was soft and low, yet he could still hear it over the loud sizzling of the chopped pork.
At the moment, he was home alone. Itadori was out at the moment training with Gojo. The basic part of his training was done, but now he was learning about reverse curse techniques. Megumi smiled softly to himself as he thought about Yuji's excited rambles about the curse spells and techniques he's been learning lately. He'll never admit it, but Yuji's rants were adorable.
He looked up from the now-chopped cabbage and over towards the microwave. The time that glowed read 12:30pm. Megumi stared at the clock for a moment before he went back to the task at hand. "Yuji won't be home until 1, so I have time to finish lunch." He said aloud to himself as he began to place the chopped vegetables into another frying pan. "Egg rolls, rice, and Tonkatsu should be a good meal for him." He said aloud as the rice cooker beeped.
12:50
Megumi sighed in contentment as he placed the now-rolled egg rolls into a frying pan. Megumi stared down at the frying meal with a thoughtful stare. "I wonder how Yuji's doing." He said aloud as he thought of imagining Yuji and Gojo goofing off. He sighed as he closed his eyes and an amused smile stretched across his face. "He's probably doing something ridiculous right now with Gojo-sensei." He said in an amused voice.
He rolled the egg roll around some so that the other side could fry. "I honestly shouldn't even begin to imagine Gojo-sensei's ridiculousness, knowing him it'll be worse than Yuji's. At least Yuji has common curtisy." He said in an exhausted voice. The music suddenly stopped and he looked over at the speaker in question, but he didn't have to guess long when the robotic voice came through reading off Yuji's number aloud. He picked up the phone and he answered it.
"Hello." He said. He could hear the sound of Yuji's hard breathing and the sound of wind passing by quickly. "HEY MEGMI!! I'M ON MY WAY HOME RIGHT NOW!!" Came his energetic voice. Megumi pulled the phone away from his ear with a slight flinch. "Stop yelling, you'll blow my damn speaker out." Megumi said. Yuji laughed sheepishly yet excitedly. Megumi smiled softly. "SORRY! SORRY! I'M JUST SO EXCITED, I CAN'T HELP IT!! I JUST FINISHED TRAINING WITH SENSEI!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW YOU WHAT I JUST LEARNED!!" Yuji shouted excitedly.
Megumi sighed in slight annoyance as he kept the phone a good distance from his ear. Yuji was just too excited to lower his voice, but Megumi didn't mind it too much. He honestly lived just to see and hear Yuji's happiness. "I'LL BE HOME SOON, KAY!?" Yuji shouted once more. "Okay, I'll see you when you get home." Megumi said with a slight nod. "KAY! BYE MEGMI!!" Yuji shouted before his line cut off. The sound of beeping sounded through the speaker, signaling that the call ended, before the soft music continued once more.
Megumi placed his phone down on the counter gently as he continued to cook the egg rolls.
1:20 pm
Megumi had set the plates out on the table, the food on the serving plates sat in the center while Megumi's and Yuji's plates lay empty in their respective spots. Megumi was currently pacing back and forth from the kitchen to the dorm room door. He would stand in front of the door for a moment, a worried gaze dancing on his face before he'd pace back into the kitchen and back to the door just to do it all over again. 'Where is Yuji? He should've been made it home by now. What's taking him so long?' He thought in worry.
He paced back to the kitchen and he stopped, he looked down at his phone, a weighing look on his face as he considered his choices. 'Maybe I should call him. Check up on his location... I hope he isn't in danger.' He thought as he moved to pick up the phone, but the sound of the door opening caught his attention and he whipped around. He walked towards the door, stopping halfway in the kitchen with a hopeful gaze. "Yuji, what took so long?" Megumi asked in a worried yet slightly annoyed tone.
"Sorry, Megumi, but the brat's a bit busy at the moment." Megumi's eyes widen in shock as the voice of Sukuna sounded from behind the door. Megumi watched the door open, revealing the signature tattoos of Sukuna that marked Yuji's face. Megumi stared on in surprise. Yuji's outfit was a mess. His shirt was torn and covered in semi-dried blood, and his pants had gashes in them, but the giant hole in the center of his shirt is what caught Megumi's main attention. He could see that Sukuna had healed the body, but just looking at the massive hole made Megumi's blood run cold.
Sukuna smirked calmly as he took Megumi's silence in amusement. "You don't mind spending the afternoon with me, right?" He asked in a taunting voice. He looked past Megumi with a curious face and he smiled. "Ah!! Playing housewife are we? You made the brat a cute little lunch huh? Guess he won't be getting to eat it." He said as he licked his lips. Megumi stared at Sukuna a little longer before he walked towards him. Sukuna looked at him in question before he smirked.
"Oh? Not happy to see me? Going to kick me out again?" He asked with an amused smirk. Megumi's face stayed unreadable as he slowly approached him, Sukuna's smirk slightly dropped but he remained calm. "If you're worried about the brat, don't be. He's fine." He said, he was trying to read Megumi, but he was having a hard time. Megumi walked until he stopped in front of Sukuna. His toes were nearly touching Sukuna's as he stood face-to-face with him. Sukuna stared down at him with an observation stare. 'What's with him? Why isn't he reacting to me?' He thought curiously as he stared down at Megumi's worried yet unreadable gaze.
'He'd usually be yelling at me right about now, so why isn't he?' He thought. He was slightly nervous. He was more used to a negative reaction from Megumi, not... whatever this is. "Say, Megumi. What's got you all-" Sukuna was stopped mid-sentence as he was suddenly slapped across his cheek. His eyes widen at the quick and sudden action. The slight stinging on his cheek vibrated and he reached up to touch it. 'A slap?' He thought in confusion before he looked down at Megumi. His eyes widen in surprise when he saw Megumi's worried face.
"You idiot! I was worried about you two! What did you guys do!? Why is there a giant hole in your shirt!? Why didn't you idiots call for backup!?" Megumi fussed, his face was a mixture of fear, worry, and anger. Sukuna remained speechless, he honestly didn't know what to say. "You're an idiot!! Both of you are!! If you're ever in trouble I want you to call me!! I know that you're both strong, but I hate being left on the side not knowing anything!! I was worried dammit!!" Megumi fussed once more, his fists clenched to his side tightly until his knuckles turned snow white.
Sukuna's shocked face remained unmoving as he stayed silent. Megumi stared up at him, before he sighed and he released his tight fist. Violence wasn't going to solve anything, and besides, he was home now. So all was okay. 'He's alive.... He's alright... We're alright.' Megumi thought as he slowly let his anger go. Sukuna blinked in confusion, but he didn't say anything before he gave a smirk and he rubbed his cheek. "Man, that's one hell of a slap you gave me. I actually kind of felt that one." Sukuna said in a casual voice.
Megumi didn't say anything as he raised his arms up, his sudden movement caused Sukuna to reel back in slight anticipation, but the feeling of arms wrapping around his neck made him pause. 'What?' He thought in confusion. Megumi's arms tightened around Sukuna's neck, as he hugged him tighter. "You deserved it. I hope Yuji felt it too. He needs a good wack." He said in a calm voice as he held him. Sukuna's hands twitch as they hovered awkwardly next to Megumi's side. "I know that you're powerful, and that nothing can really kill you. But I can't help but worry about you too. You're a part of Yuji, and I promised myself that I would love all of him. So that includes you too, Sukuna." Megumi explained as he kept his hug firm.
Sukuna's eyes widen at his words, before they softened. His hands relaxed and he gently, yet firmly placed his hands on his waist, before he slowly wrapped his arms around Megumi. His eyes closed and he buried his nose into his shoulder. 'Megumi has nice hugs... no wonder why the brat likes them so much.' He thought in contentment as he relaxed against Megumi. They held each other a little longer before they separated. Megumi's face returned to its usual passive self, but his eyes shinned warmly. Sukuna seemed to be caught in a trance as he stared down at them. "Come on, I made lunch, and whether it's you or Yuji who eats it, I don't care. I just want you to come and eat." He said as he pulled back from Sukuna.
He grabbed his hand and pulled him along. Sukuna followed without complaint as he followed him to the table. Once there, Megumi let his hand go, and Sukuna's hand twitched. 'I already miss their warmth.' He thought as his hand tightened into a fist. Megumi worked over the food, as he placed a good amount on Sukuna's plate before he fixed his own. "Come and sit, I want you to eat. I worked like a damn slave and I expect you to eat it all." He said as he placed his now full plate on his own side. He turned to Sukuna. "But first, you need to wash your hands. We take hygiene in this 'household' seriously." He said as he gave him a pointed stare.
Sukuna didn't respond as he stared at him, his stare was warm yet curious. Megumi stared up at him with an observation stare. 'He's like a dog. At least they also share that quality together.' He thought as he pictured both Yuiji and Sukuna as happy giant dogs. He was broken from his thought when Sukuna's hands gently grabbed onto his face. He stared up at him with a confused stare as he gave him a slight glare. "What are you doing?" He asked as he grabbed his wrists. Sukuna didn't respond as he leaned down, and gently pressed his lips against Megumi's.
His eyes widened from the sudden kiss from Sukuna, but he slowly relaxed into the kiss. 'A kiss from Sukuna... would this be considered the kiss of death?' He thought before he deepened the kiss. 'If so, I'd do it again.' He thought. 'I'm just happy to feel him. To feel a warm body and not a cold one. Whether it's Sukuna or Yuji... I could care less, I just always want to see them coming through that door alive.' He thought as they hugged each other, their kiss becoming heated and sloppy.
'I always wanna feel and see you in my arms. No matter who you are.'

-------------------------------
The sun was bright and there were no clouds in the sky, it was a nice summer day, and the wind was nice and breezy. It was the perfect day for a date. Yuji had been on his knees earlier that morning, he's been pleading with Megumi to go on a date with him for the day. The sun was shining bright, the wind was good, and it was too perfect to not go on a date. He spent most of the morning pleading and begging. It's not that Megumi didn't want to go on a date, it's just that he didn't feel like it.
He was tired, and he just wanted to sleep the day away, he was able to convince Yuji to just let him get in three maybe even four extra hours of sleep, and maybe even a good meal, and he'll be ready. So Yuji agreed, with the promise of cuddles as they sleep. And Yuji held Megumi to his words, after 3 hours and 30 minutes, Yuji woke him up and he already made him a promising meal of ramen. So, Megumi ate his meal, and he freshened up, ready for their date. And Yuji was right, it was a great day for a date. It was perfect.
They've hung together the whole day. Yuji took them to the ice cream shop, to the ramen stand, to the small carnival, and then lastly to the park. They stood on the boardwalk, the ocean could be seen as far as the eye would allow. The setting sun was orange and the clouds were pink and purple. It was a sight to behold. Their hands held one another with laced fingers. Megumi's gaze was soft as he stared at the sunset. 'It's always so beautiful. The sun is promising, she never goes anywhere, and she always comes back the next day. Just like Yuji.' He thought fondly as he looked over at Yuji.
His gentle stare turned into a slightly shocked look as he saw Sukuna instead of Yuji. "Beautiful sight, right?" Sukuna asked casually as he looked over at Megumi. His gaze was sharp yet it was gentle. It was a stare that Megumi has been getting used to. Sukuna has been appearing slightly more lately, but Megumi didn't mind. It was nice to have a slight change up, but it did worry him about Yuji's health. "You sure do come out a lot." Megumi said as he gave Sukuna a sideways glance. Sukuna chuckled. "Oh? Do you not enjoy my company?" He asked in an amused voice.
Megumi stared at him for a moment before he looked back at the sun, his hand slightly tightened around Sukuna's. "I do, I find you curious yet enduring. It's nice to have a change of pace." He said. Sukuna's eyes lost their sharp stare, as they grew warm. His hand gripped Megumi's back in return as he looked towards the sun. "Is that so? Then you probably wouldn't mind if I'd randomly ask for cuddles and kisses then." He said. Megumi rolled his eyes as he sighed.
"Nice to know you and Yuji are cuddle monsters then." He said in a tired voice. Sukuna chuckled in amusement as he nuzzled his nose into Megumi's hair. "My cuddles far surpass that brat by a long shot. You've been introduced to mediocre cuddles, mine are masterful. You'll be craving my cuddles." He gloated as he released Megumi's hand in favor of wrapping it around his shoulder as he pulled him towards him. Megumi rolled his eyes. "Sure they are, I'm pretty sure yours are worst since you haven't cuddled in a thousand years." He shot back in an unimpressed voice.
A stabbing feeling went through Sukuna's chest at Megumi's words. "My heart, Megumi. You've wounded me so. You haven't even had my cuddles yet and you're already judging them, have a heart won't you?" He said dramatically as he held his heart. Megumi shook his head as he turned to walk back home. His sudden actions caused Sukuna to forget about his 'wounded heart' as he reached out for Megumi. "Hey, wait! Where are you going!?" He called out as he walked after him. "If it makes you feel better, I don't mind a few stab wounds." He said in a pleading tone as he walked after Megumi's retreating form.
Megumi sighed as he continued to walk. "Quiet sprouting nonsense and hurry up, I wanna get home already so that I can sleep more." He said. Sukuna gave a sly smirk at his words as he caught up to Megumi. He fell in line with his steps as he walked on side of him. "You want to get home so that we can cuddle yes? I figured you'd be interested in my masterful cuddles." He gloated in pride. "No, I just wanna hurry up and get home before Yuji comes back and keep us out any longer. If I have any more unneeded social interaction, I'm going to disintegrate." He complained in a monotone voice. Sukuna lost his prideful stare as he looked down at Megumi in slight question.
"Did you not enjoy the date?" He asked, genuine curiosity in his voice, Megumi's eyebrow twitched at the question. 'His voice, does he sound... disappointed?' He thought in question. He looked over at Sukuna with an open stare. "No, I did. It was fun. I'm just tired and ready to lie down." He said honestly. Sukuna stared at him with an observatory stare, making Megumi slightly uncomfortable under his stare. 'What?.... Why is he staring at me like that?' He thought as he stared back at Sukuna in question. "Did you not want to go on a date today, Megumi?" He asked. His voice was serious, as he was truly curious. The sound of disappointment laced his voice this time and Megumi stopped walking.
He looked over at Sukuna with a curious gaze before his eyes widen in slight shock. 'Sukuna... he looks... sad?' He thought as he looked at Sukuna's slightly disappointed face. They stared at each other for a moment, before Megumi scoffed. "Hmph, of course, I did. I like sleep, but I like you more than sleep, so I honestly don't mind giving up a long nap, if it means I get to spend the day with you both." He said honestly. Sukuna's face seem to lose its slight sadness, before he beamed like a happy dog.
'He's like a giant dog... I wanna pet him.' Megumi thought as he pictured a giant dog with Sukuna's tattoos. 'Hmmm... maybe the tattoos are a little much.' He thought. He was pulled from his thoughts when Sukuna suddenly hugged him tightly. "Oof... Sukuna, you hug tight." Megumi said in a huff as he lost the air from his lungs. Sukuna's arms loosened slightly and Megumi relaxed, as he wrapped his own arms around Sukuna. "I knew you'd enjoy this date." He said in a triumphant voice. Megumi blinked in confusion as Sukuna pulled back from the hug.
"Huh?" Megumi said as he stared up at Sukuna with a confused look. Sukuna smirked as he took Megumi's hand in his and he dragged him off. "H-HEY!!" Megumi cried as he caught his footing under himself as he tried to keep up with Sukuna's fast pace. "Sukuna! Where are we going!?" He asked as he began to huff. Sukuna didn't say anything, causing Megumi to slightly pout as he glared at him. "HEY!! WHERE ARE WE GOING!?" He yelled. Sukuna chuckled as he kept on walking. "I'm taking you home, and then I'm going to cuddle you into oblivion. I won the bet, so I get to have you all night!!" Sukuna said.
Megumi's eyes widen in confusion and shock at Sukuna's words. "WHAT!? WHAT BET!?" He shouted in slight anger. Sukuna didn't answer he just chuckled in response. "HEY!! DON'T IGNORE ME!! YOU MEAN OUR DATE WAS ON A BET!? BETWEEN YOU AND YUJI!? HEY!!!" He shouted as he went ignored. Sukuna's excited chuckles sounded out as he continued to drag an annoyed Megumi behind him. Megumi glared at his back for a moment, before he sighed and he smiled instead. 'Why did I have to get the idiot boyfriend with an equally idiot curse? My luck sure is amazing.' He thought as he followed behind Sukuna.
'But, I honestly wouldn't change it for the world. They're dumbasses, they're my dumbasses.' He thought fondly.
The moon was out, the wind has calmed down to a slight breeze, and the clouds have become thicker. Megumi lay in the bed on his side, staring out the window with a thoughtful stare. 'The moon is bright tonight. I used to hate it, it always reminded me of my darkness, my inner demons, but now...' He thought as he looked over his shoulder. A sleeping Sukuna could be seen, snoring away peacefully. It was a light slumber, but he was asleep. 'With Yuji here, I don't feel so overwhelmed with darkness, I can actually see some light within me.. That's why I love him so much.' He thought, as he laid his hand over Sukuna's that lay on the pillow next to his head.
His fingers lightly laced with Sukuna's, and he smiled. 'Damn, Sukuna was right, his cuddles are superior. I could get used to this.' He thought as he snuggled back into Sukuna. Behind him, Sukuna smirked, his eyes remained closed. "HA!! I KNEW I HAD THE BEST CUDDLES!!" He gloated at Yuji within the Domain. Yuji pouted. "WHAT!? THAT'S NOT RIGHT MAN!! TELL ME YOUR SECRETS!!" He demanded. Sukuna turned away from him. "NOPE!! Little boys like you don't need a secret like that." He said in a factual tone. "WHAT!? THAT MAKES NO SENSE!!" He shouted as he gripped his hair in frustration.
"Doesn't matter, just know I'm the best at cuddles. 1 point for me and 0 for you, loser." He said as he turned his thumb down. Yuji glared at him as he pouted. "You totally cheated." He childishly said. Sukuna chuckled humorlessly. "HA! As if, I just have a thousand years worth of affection trapped within me is all." He said. Yuji arched a brow at him. "Huh, I had no idea that was even within your black heart." He said. Sukuna shot back. "Well, this 'black heart' sure knows how to woo sweet little Megumi." He said as he smirked. Yuji huffed as he crossed his arms. "Whatever, enjoy your cuddles, because I'll beat you at something." He challenged. Sukuna gave him an amusing grin. "I'd like to see you try, brat."

My Unexpected Romance
Paring Cross-ship: Megumi Fushiguro x Ariel
Rating M
Warning: Suspense, Humor, Supernatural, Suspense
Summary: Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara, have all gone on a mission together to stop a curse from its rampant killings. The only issue is that they don't know where the spirit may be hiding, however, Megumi has a suspicious experience at a beach and he's sure that he's found where the curse may be ... But he may be shocked to know, that it isn't a curse at all, but rather an innocent girl who needs rescuing.
--------------------------------------
A car was riding down the road on a cliff, on the left side of the cliff, it was a field of trees, while on the right it was the sea. She was big, blue, and calm, the sun glittering along the water beautifully. In the car sat three passengers. Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara. Yuji and Nobara were talking among themselves while Megumi was looking out the window down at the ocean. He was practically entranced in its deep blue depths, he was leaning against the door, his borde gaze locked on the water below.
'The water looks so different right now... It looks deeper, mysterious almost... It's strange.' He thought as his body lightly bounced when the car hit a bump in the road... It wasn't too long before they made it to their destination, it was a hotel in the middle of the city, and it didn't stand out in any kind of way. They got out of the car, and both Yuji and Nobara stared up at the building while Megumi paid the driver... "So, what kind of curse do you think we'll end up exorcizing here?" Yuji asked as he stretched his arms above his head before he rested his arms behind his head.
Nobara crossed her arms as she leaned on one leg, a judgmental look on her face as she sized the building up. "Well, seeing as this is a pretty popular place for people to come and visit, I'd say we might be dealing with a Grade 2 or a Grade 1." She said. Yuji stared up at the building in question. Megumi spoke up behind them as he walked up to them. "We're not dealing with any curses here at this hotel." He explained they both looked back at him in question. "Then... Where?" Yuji asked his eyes wide in wonderment. Megumi walked past them both his hands in his pockets. He stopped a few steps before them before he looked back at them both. The serious look on his face made them both tense up. "The whole city." He said. They both gapped at him in shock before they shouted. "WHAAAAAAT!?" They screamed.
The door to their hotel room opened, Nobara walked in first, followed by Yuji and Megumi. She looked around the room, checking the bathroom, the closet, the small kitchen, and the bedroom. Both Yuji and Megumi stood by the entrance, silently watching her. Yuji stared at her curiously while Megumi stared at her in boredom. She walked back to them and she nodded in approval. "This place seems clean and ready to be used." She said. Yuji stared at her in excitement as he balled his hands into fists. "YEAH!?" He said. She nodded her head. "Mmhmm, there are two beds, I get one to myself, and you and Megumi figure out who gets the other one and who gets the couch, until then later losers, I'm going to take a shower." She said as she spun around and she walked off.
Megumi and Yuji stood there a little longer before they looked at each other. Megumi placed his hand on Yuji's shoulder before he walked past him. "Have fun sleeping on the couch man." He said as she walked towards the room. Yuji stared at him in shock before he shouted. "HEY!! WE'RE SUPPOSED TO PICK NOT JUST -" SLAM!! .... "Guess the couch can't be too bad." He said as he stared at the couch... It didn't take long before the group got comfortable in their new 'home' for the time being. Nobara exited the bathroom with a relaxed smile as she dried her hair, her pj's on with some pink slippers.
Both Yuji and Megumi sat on the couch. On the coffee table laid a map of the city, and they marked it with red ink. Circles, check marks, and X's could be seen scattered over the paper. Nobara walked over to them, peeking curiously over the back of the cough. "What you guys up to?" She asked. Yuji and Megumi looked back at her. Megumi spoke up. "We've marked the map to make it easier for us to find the hot spots, the cold spots, and the common areas, but not enough to raise alarms." He explained.
Yuji pointed his thumb at himself proudly. "AND I came up with the key for our mapping!!" He declared. She stared at him unimpressed. "Congratulations, you know how to mark a map." She said in a bored voice. He pouted at her, but he was ignored by her as she reached forward, pointing at the map. "Tell me, 'great map marker', what do these symbols mean?" She asked with a roll of her eyes. His face brightened up, and he squealed in excitement. "OKAY!! OKAY!! OKAY!! So, the X means it's a place where people vanish, but it's not common enough to cause panic. The check mark means that it's a major hot spot, and the circles mean that someone has vanished here once or twice."
He explained proudly. Nobara's eyes scanned the map, counting each mark repetition. "So we have 15 checks, 10 circles, and 41 X's." She said. Megumi spoke up. "Yeah, and the hot spots are pretty active but not as spaced out as the X's... they're off in secluded yet still pretty populated places... It's smart." He said as he looked over at the two. They both stared at him with serious gazes before they both looked back down at the map. "So what's the plan?" Nobara asked. Megumi sighed as he thought over his words before he pointed at the map. "I'll go check the circles, Yuji will go check the checks, and Nobara, you'll go check the X's." He said.
Yuji nodded while Nobara looked annoyed. "Why do I have to check the one with the most places?" She asked. Megumi looked up at her. "Simply because it's in the shopping center, so -" "SHOPPING CENTER!? SAY LESS!!" She yelled as she ran to the room, and she slammed the door. They both stared at the door for a moment before Yuji chirped out. "She seems excited." He said with a happy smile, Megumi just sighed as he leaned back against the couch.
----------------------------------------
Megumi walked along the streets of the busy city, people walked by him laughing, talking, running, rushing, and texting, trying to get from A to B as quickly and as safely as possible. He was looking down at the list of locations he had written down, speaking with the locals who were willing to answer his questions about the places that were deemed haunted or dangerous to venture to at night or alone. He sighed as he crossed off yet another area that led to a dead end. When he first did his research about the place, he wasn't expecting some of the places to be dead of activity, apparently, this curse likes to hop around and once it deems an area useless, it leaves. He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk as he threw his head back, his hand coming up to rub the back of his neck.
"Ugh, my neck hurts." He muttered, ignoring the people who'd walk past him giving him a questioning stare or an annoyed glare. He looked down at his list again and he blinked in realization as he looked back up at the sign across the street from him. "Triton Beach" He read aloud as he walked across the street, he looked back and forth, checking for any cars as he jogged across. Once under the sign, he looked down at his and he saw Triton Beach with a small note next to it. 'Still Active Dissaperences'. It read he looked up at the sign and sighed. "This should be promising." He said as he walked under the entrance and onto the beach. He noticed that it was more empty than all the other areas on his list so far, which gave him hope that his traveling hadn't gone in vain. He noticed that the sand was clean, with not a footprint in sight, he felt around the area, sensing for any curse energy, but he couldn't feel anything.
He gave an annoyed sigh as he crossed off the words 'Triton Beach.' "Another dead site." He said in annoyance. He turned to leave, but the sound of a voice caught his attention. He looked back towards the beach, his eyes scanning for a person. He stared a little longer before he turned away, he got a few steps in before he heard it again. A woman singing. He looked back at the beach, frantically scanning the land and waters for anything. 'This is no coincidence... It's haunting... and I'm its next target... Perfect.' He thought as he went back to walking along the beach, looking for any sign of curse activity.
The longer he walked, the more he got the ominous feeling of being watched. He walked along the sands, becoming more aware of its soft surface, the deep waters, the dark small caves in the cliffs, the shadows from under the dock. "This is the most perfect hunting grounds... anywhere and anywhere could be a feeding spot... that could mean one of two things. One, it's fast and/or can teleport. Two, there's more than one... or the unmarked third option and the worst one... Both." He said as he muttered to himself. He was slightly nervous, he wasn't sure how strong these curses were and if there was indeed more than one. If so, he was going to need help.
He began walking back up to the streets when he heard the water splash. He whipped around, arms up and ready to summon his hounds... his eyes bounced around the surface of the ocean, looking for anything, but he saw nothing. 'So my guess was right... it is fast... extremely fast at that.' He thought. A nervous sweat broke out on his forehead. 'How long has it been on land with him? Was it even on the land? Was it on the cliff? The dock? ... Where? It made the water splash, which means that it jumped back into the water... is it a water-based curse? If so, that would make sense.' He thought as he slowly backed up to the streets behind him, his eyes locked on the sea before him.
'I just have to make it up to the streets, and I'll be off the hunting grounds... move slow, move smart. It's faster, it's hungry, it's smart... I can't let it out move me.' He thought cautiously. His feet scraped across the sand, leaving a jagged trail in front of him as he moved back. Then it happened again. The sound of a woman singing sounded out. His eyes widened, and his movement stopped. 'A woman? A female curse? Why is she singing? Is it to lure me in? Who is she singing to? Is she singing to me?... It's beautiful, like a lullaby. It's slow with meaning like she's telling me a story... Maybe she needs help... Maybe it's not a curse... Maybe... Maybe.' He thought. A heavy hand slapped his shoulder, making him whip around quickly, his hands coming up to release his cursed hounds, but he stopped when he saw Yuji.
"WOAH!! CALM DOWN MAN, IT'S JUST ME!!" He shouted out in alarm as he raised his hands in surrender. Megumi huffed and puffed as he stared at Yuji, his eyes fluttered as they darted around. "What's my first name?" He asked him. Yuji stared at him in confusion. "HUH? What kind of a question is that?" He asked him. "WHAT'S MY FIRST NAME!?" He shouted as he pointed his hands at him with tight arms. "ITS MEGUMI!!" He yelled as he raised his arms high above his head. Megumi sighed as he slowly lowered his arms.
"Itadori." He said, relief in his voice. Yuji blinked at him as his lips wobbled in fear and concern. "You okay, Fushiguro?" He asked him worriedly. Megumi sighed as he looked off from Yuji, eyes scanning the lands around them. "Yeah, I'm fine... It's just that... I'm convinced that I'm in the nest right now." He said. Yuji's worried look turned into a serious stare. "Are you sure?" He asked. Megumi nodded. "I'm positive." He said. Yuji nodded. "Okay, let's go and get Kugisaki." Yuji said. Megumi nodded. "Yeah." He sighed as he followed Yuji. His brows tightened and he stopped walking and looked down, seeing that he was shin-deep in the water. He looked down in shock and confusion at the fact that he was standing in the water.
He looked up and saw Yuji walking back up to land. 'When... When did I walk out into the water?' He thought in confusion. The sound of a woman singing again caught his attention and he looked out into the ocean, watching the small waves in the distance. "Something's wrong." He said to himself.

Little Mouse - Turles x Fem!Reader
Paring: Turles x Fem!Reader
Anime: DragonBall Z
Rated M
Warnings: Mention of death, mention of possible emotional trauma, genocide, Fluff, Slight Angst
-------------------------------------
You sat in a closet, your breathing silent yet heavy as you silently panted, you were in a slight mess. Light dust layered your clothes, your clothes slightly roughed on you, your blood rushed in your ears, your eyes wide and blown in excitement and fear as you stared at the closed door before you. Your eyes trained on the bottom of the door, the light shining from under being undisturbed as not one shadow has passed by yet. You sat in the middle of the cramped room, your legs bent to fit you accordingly in the small face. You've been on this... ship, for days now. Sitting in a bedroom fit for a king. You weren't allowed to leave the room for nothing. They'd bring you food, and water, there was no need to leave. There were plenty of clothes for you to change into, products and tools for your face, makeup for you to play with, and hygienic products for you to clean yourself and to help with your feminine needs.
There was even a TV, books, paper and pen... There was even a sexy man who came by every night and sometimes in the evening. You were in no need to leave the room, not when everything was already there. You've been on this ship for days, you weren't just sure how long though. There was no clock, no form of time anywhere, and it seemed that it was night all the time out the window. The only reason why you knew it was a ship was because you remembered seeing it on the news... back on your planet... before they came and destroyed it... with a giant fucking tree... It was so crazy, it was like you were trapped in a sci-fi film or something, it was ridiculous, but nonetheless very real. They came and they conquered, within just a few hours, your planet was destroyed, everyone was dead and it was just you left.
He landed before you, like some kind of angle, a fallen one at that. His grey-blue and black armor, his white cape, his scattered hairstyle, his tan skin, his rugged good looks, his muscles... He was a giant, at least 6'0" even. He was massive in weight, height, width, muscles... nothing on him was small. He screamed evil, elegance, control, power... he was like a king or something. He teased you, called you a 'dirty rat', and to be honest, you were filthy. Your hair was a mess, dirt laces in your hair, your skin was dirty, your clothes tattered your shoes missing. You looked like nobody loved you... But they did, and in that moment you began to realize, just how much you took your family for granted. They weren't the easiest to live with, they were hard to talk to, selfish, always took but never gave, and constantly crushed your trust... but for the first time, you lost your irritating family, and you began to realize that they were the only ones who you really had in this world.
But now they're gone... you watched as their bodies practically decayed like a corpse before you in just hours. Why you were unaffected... you never knew, and you still don't. But he liked you, he seen something in you that nobody had ever seen before... He smiled at you with that crooked smirk, he seemed curious of you in a way, his eyes gleamed curiously. A man has never looked at you like that, it was different, it was new... It was exciting even. It was strange yet you liked it... He called himself 'Turles, the leader of the Crusher Core', a space pirate... It would've been laughable but given the situation... You believed him... That's probably why you took his hand when he offered it to you, wanting you to join his crew... To be his 'queen.' And honestly, with nothing left to lose, you took his hand, there was nothing on this planet left for you, it was a wasteland, and the only thing left was his ship and that giant fucking tree... You watched as your planet grew smaller and smaller, held tightly to his chest as you looked over your shoulder out the window.
A shadow passed by and you snapped back to reality, you looked down and sucked in a shuttering breath as you scooted back more in the small room. You were scared yet excited. Scared because you left the room and he clearly told you not to leave, no matter what... and that if you did he'd punish you... However, you were also excited, because of what he may do. It was riveting in a way. You listened to his heavy footsteps against the metal floor, the ground vibrating beneath you as he walked passed your door slowly. "Now, now, now... Little Mouse, why don't you come out, we've played long enough, and I'll need you to come out now... It's nearly lunch time and I've made plans to take you out to eat." He spoke, his accent sounding out as he walked by.
By the sound of his accent, you'd swear that he was of some sort of decedent or was from the eastern side of the galaxy, it was like a form of 'Proper English' or something. It was sexy honestly. You perked up at his words. 'Take me out? He has plans to eat out, and he's thinking of taking you with him?' You thought, your heart skipping a beat. It made you happy to know that he wanted to be seen with you in public... For a while now... You were sure that he was either just keeping you as an easy lay or he was simply just embarrassed to be seen with you... And it honestly was beginning to make you feel less about yourself, but now... "I've made dinner reservations for us to eat, it's a beautiful restaurant and I think you'll enjoy it just as much as I do." He spoke once more. You listened to him walk around the area, you could hear him moving things around, looking in every nook and cranny for you.
You sat up straighter, your clothes making the lightest shuffling sounds, but it was enough to make him stop moving. You held your breath, you honestly forgot how sensitive his hearing was. "Ah... So the idea of eating out has gotten you excited, has it now, little mouse?" He asked, you could hear the smirk in his voice. You wanted to chuckle at that and you almost did, but you wanted to come out on your own... You've honestly gotten used to looking a certain type of way in front of him now. You were usually so clean, smelled good, your hair always combed, clothes elegant. It's been days... but the longer you sit here, you're beginning to realize, that it's probably been longer than a few days, months even... It should've scared you... but you couldn't care, this has honestly been your best life, living like a queen, being treated like a queen... It was addicting and you didn't want to lose that status.
"Little Mouse... Come on out now, we must make it to our reservations on time, and I do wish for you to look your most gorgeous... I want every man's neck to practically break at the sight of you... The jealousy in their eyes when they see that you're on my arm and not theirs." He said, the cockiness in his voice was evident and it made your eyes gloss over as your own imagination ran wild. 'To be marveled at... Like a queen.' You thought, with the new revelation, the new idea, you stood up, dusted your clothes off and you made yourself look presentable. You opened the door, and there he stood. Tall, handsome, strong, mysterious... He looked proud and just as cocky as usual, and you honestly loved it. "There you are love, I was hoping that you'd come to me and not the other way around, because I can promise you... That if I discovered it, I wouldn't be so nice." He said. His smile did not reach his black eyes, he had never actually hurt you before, but you didn't want to test it.
You walked towards him, a proud smile on your face as you laced your arms around his. "I'm more than aware, but the promise of eating out was enough to make me come to you, especially since I now know you aren't embarrassed by me." You spoke. He scoffed as he walked, you kept pace with him. "No why would I feel such a thing? I wouldn't have made you my queen if I had felt such a way." He said confidently as he walked down the hall. You nodded your head. "That's true." You said agreeing with what he said as you both walked down the hall, curving with the walls as you both vanished down the winding hall. In the closet, you were in before, sat a box deep in the corner under a pile of junks. In the box laid an old nearly decayed plastic frame, the glass cracked. In the frame was an old picture of a family. A woman, a man, a young woman a young man, and two small boys. The younger woman was you, your smile big as you stood with your family.
On the other side of the box, the numbers written out read 4-16-2022. On a calendar in your and Turles's bedroom, the date read 8-18-2032.

The sunflower field was healthy and strong, the sun shined brightly, and the partly cloudy sky was beautiful, the little yellow monkeys lazed around on top of the giant sunflowers, some sleeping while others picked bugs off one another. On the ground, a few baby monkeys could be seen running through the thick stems of the flowers as they cooed to one another happily. You hummed a sweet little tune as you walked along the bridge that lays in the valley of sunflowers, you were on your way to water the more newly bloomed sunflowers, so you made it a habit very quickly to give them water first so that you didn't actually forget.
You stopped as you turned to look over the edge of the bridge, far down below you could see the newly bloomed flowers, they were young and they stood around your height. You smiled down at them happily as you continued on your walk coming to a 4-way crossroad in the bridge. Three going in two going in different directions while the last one came back towards you but went down in a slight slop. The bridge was built like a zigzag below you, while in front of you, it became a crossroad. You turned to walk down the zigzag, making your way down the slopes as you walked further down.
Once you were at a decent height over the flowers you raised your hands high above your head, and you cuffed them like you were holding water before you closed your eyes and your hands glowed, and out came water. It sprayed upwards from your palms creating a light 'rainfall' over the flowers. You stood there for a while, patiently allowing the plants to soak up as much water as possible. A few of the baby monkeys that were playing through the larger flowers came running to play in the 'rainfall'.
You chuckled at them sweetly as you watched them play under the light shower, a small twinkle in the sky appeared behind you, unaware, you continued to water the sunflowers before the small twinkle flashed again and like a meteor, a flaming object shot out of the sky in the distance landing far in your sunflower field. You tensed up in shock when the object landed hard on the ground making the earth shake. You turned around in confusion as you saw black smoke coming from the distance. You frowned as you stopped watering your flowers and you went to go investigate. You hopped along the top of the large sunflowers, taking the quickest route to the area.
When you arrived you stared on in curiosity as you saw a giant crater in the ground, not too far from the edge of the sunflower field. A few of the monkeys gathered around you as they too stared down in curiosity. "Stay here, I'm going to go and check things out." You told the monkeys as you jumped off the flower, you landed on the ground not too far from the crater, and you eased up to the edge of it, peering down into the deep hole. You checked for any impending danger in the hole before you slid down the slope of it.
Once at the bottom, you approached the smoking middle cautiously, there, you waited patiently for the smoke to clear, and it wasn't long before you saw a figure. You stared intensely as it became clearer for you to see and once it was clear enough your eyes widened when you saw that it was a black-furred monkey. You approached him cautiously, seeing that he was injured, his clothes were burned and torn, cuts ran along his body as well as matted fur from blood and mud. You frowned in worry before you summoned a sunflower underneath him, it gently bloomed around him before it closed and vanished. You looked around the crater before you shook your head.
"Property Damage." You said tiredly before you hopped out of the hole. You made your way back to the top of the large sunflowers, there the monkeys all cooed at you in concern and you smiled down at them. "Don't worry you lot, everything is okay, if he's nice then you'll have a new friend to play with soon." You said sweetly to them. They all jumped and clapped in joy as they began to coo among themselves. You smiled at their antics before you hopped along the top of the sunflowers.
In the center of the sunflower field, lay a large yet simple home, it was at the top of a gigantic sunflower, you ran along the vines that acted as stairs till you reached your front porch. You opened the door and in the center of your living room laid the giant bud of an unbloomed sunflower. You closed the door behind you as you held your other hand out to the bud making it bloom. In the center of the sunflower lay the unconscious black-furred monkey. He lay in the fetal position, a painful groan came from him but he remained asleep.
You stared down at him in concern before you walked into your bathroom, coming back shortly with a medical kit. "Don't you worry, I'll make sure you feel good as new when you wake up." You said gently.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
It's been a few hours since you've cleaned his wounds, wrapped bandages around him, and washed his tattered clothes. You'll have to repair them later. You were brewing herbal tea as you hummed softly to yourself while you scrubbed his dirty boots in the kitchen sink. A painful groan sounded out and you looked behind you, seeing that the black-furred monkey was rubbing his forehead. The petal that acted as a blanket slightly lifted itself off of his body while another petal gently petted his back. You smiled at the sunflower's actions before you picked up a hand towel to dry your hands.
You walked over to the sunflower, staring down at him patiently. You watched as he opened his eyes, he looked around in confusion and alarm as he took in his foreign environment, you watched silently as he suddenly moved to sit up quickly, but he paused when he grunted in pain and held his side. You remember seeing a nasty gash on that side so you weren't surprised to see him wince. You nearly chuckled when you saw the sunflower gently pet his head with one of its petals and he flinched back in alarm, he stared at the yellow petal in shock before he grew confused. He gently sniffed it and he arched a brow.
"A flower?" He muttered, he looked down to see that he was lying on a giant sunflower, your brow twitched at the language he used but that wasn't an issue for you. You watched as the petal that was acting as a blanket before gently laying back over his lap, he stared down at the petal in question before he gently rubbed it in curiosity. You chose the moment to speak up. "The flower really likes you, it can sense that you're a good-hearted soul." You explained gently. He whirled around in alarm and he winced but he didn't hold his side not wanting to show pain. He glared at you while you smiled at him.
"Who are you?" He asked. "I'm (Y/n), I'm the owner of this field and this house." You explained. He stared at you cautiously, he eyed you up and down. "Where am I?" He asked, he noticed that you hadn't moved an inch since he noticed you which made him relax slightly. "You're in Sunflower Field Forest." You explained. He arched a brow at that. "Huh?" He questioned, you smiled at his confusion. "I can tell from your language that you're from China, so I'm not surprised that you've never heard of 'Sunflower Feild Forest.'" You explained. He looked around himself for a second before he looked back at you.
"So, where is, 'Sunflower Feild Forest' then?" He asked. "Welcome to Mother Russia, the home to the most beautiful sunflowers." You explained as pride filled your voice. His eyes widen at that. "MOTHER RUSSIA!!! HOW DID I END UP HERE!?" He shouted in confusion. You shrugged your shoulders. "Well, from the looks of it, you were in a pretty bad fight and you fell from the sky, you were pretty banged up so I brought you here and I nursed you back to health." You explained. He looked away from you, his eyes bouncing as he thought over what happened before he landed here.
You decided to walk over to the oven, picking the kettle up as you poured some tea into a cup. You added some sugar to help ease the taste of the herbs and you carefully took the cup to him. "Here, blow, it's scalding." You said gently as you crouched next to him. He gently took the cup from you, heeding your advice as he blew the liquid. You watched as he took a sip and you smiled. "This is actually pretty good." He said. You closed your eyes in pride as you placed your hands on your hips. "It's my special blend." You proudly said. He took another sip. "Well it's pretty amazing, I might need this recipe." He said with a small smirk. You lightly chuckled at him before you walked over the the couch that wasn't far from his sunflower bed.
"I'll gladly teach it to you If you'd like?" You offered. He looked over at you with a pleased stare. "Would you really? It would help out quite a bit." You nodded as you shrugged. "Sure, I have nobody else to teach it to, so I might as well teach you." You said. It was quiet for a while after that, the sound of him sipping his tea sounded out while you gently hummed a small tune. He looked around your home, taking in the decor with a better understanding now, as the strange decor made sense. "You know, I wasn't expecting another 'Mystic Monkey' to be living way out here in Russia." He said in a cheeky voice as he gave you an amused smirk.
You smiled at him as you leaned on a closed fist. "I didn't expect there to be another 'Mystic Monkey' to land in my field from such a long way. Tell me, are you the famous Monkey King?" You asked. He gave you a sheepish chuckle as he smiled awkwardly at you. "Ah, no, that's my... long-time friend Sun Wukong. I'm Macaque, six-eared Macaque that is." He explained as he proudly introduced himself.
You stared at him with interest. "Six ears hmm? Interesting, your hearing must be amazing then." You said thoughtfully. He smiled sheepishly as he looked down at his lap. "Yeah, you can say that, my hearing is the best." He said. You observed him, taking in his meek actions, you observed his actions as his emotions were everywhere but his meekness was his rawest emotion yet. 'He's a timid thing.' You sweetly thought as you stared at him. He looked up at you in question. "What's with the staring?" He asked as he seemed to shrink in on himself as he became defensive.
You smiled at him. "Nothing, just admiring your uniqueness is all." You said. His eyes widened at your words before he rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm not that unique." He muttered. You chuckled at him. "I wouldn't say that, you literally landed out of the sky, if I didn't know any better I'd call you an angel." You teasingly said, he slightly blushed at your words.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
You hung up his freshly repaired clothes on a clothing line, Macaque fell asleep once he finished his tea, as you weren't surprised, it was supposed to make you sleep so that it could do its job better at healing the body. You sighed happily as you watched his clothes gently blow in the soft breeze. His boots sat under his clothes also air drying. You looked out at your Sunflower, the sun that was once in the center of the sky was now at the 4:00 pm mark point in the sky, making the shadows longer. You sighed once more as you reached over to roll your shoulder tiredly, you weren't expecting anyone to come falling out of the sky, but it was in your nature to help any who came across your path.
You looked down when you saw a little monkey hop over to you curiously, and you smiled down at the little monkey. "hey little buddy, what's up?" You asked him sweetly. He tilted his head at you for a moment before he hopped over past you and towards your front door. You watched him curiously before you saw your door wide open. You walked over and peeked in curiously. You smiled as you saw loads of monkeys roaming around Macaque's sleeping body on the flowerbed. You watched in amusement as they crawled all over him, some snuggling up next to him while others poked at him curiously.
"Would you guys stop and let him sleep, I know that he's a monkey and that's different to see as I'm the only monkey you know of, but it's rude to do so." You gently scolded them as you pulled them away from him gently as you placed them on the floor. You watched as they cooed in complaint and you nodded your head. "yes, yes, I know, I know, but you have to let him rest first before you can play with him, he's badly injured and he needs to heal." You explained. They cooed some more in concern and you sighed. "Yes, I'm worried about him too, but all we can do is wait and hope that the herbal tea and medicine do their job." You said.
They all grew quiet as they stared up at you before they looked at one another and they all nodded before they began to make their way out of the house. You smiled fondly at them before you looked over at the sunflower bed, you watched as the baby monkeys snuggled up further into Macaque's side and back before they all dozed off with him. You shook your head as you walked away. "They're going to have a hard time saying goodbye once he has to leave." You muttered to yourself.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
It's been a few weeks since Macaque landed in the Sunflower Field Forest, he's grown to be quite popular among the monkeys that live through the forest, and he's also been a great help to you. He's taken a liking to gardening, your simple and quiet lifestyle, and he was beginning to grow addicted to it very quickly. He couldn't do much due to his wounds but he helped with what he could, such as helping you water, helping the smaller sunflowers get sunlight, and aiding in babysitting the baby monkeys when it was heavily needed, it was small but it was meaningful.
You really did appreciate him, and you've also grown to like his company, he didn't talk much but he did enjoy asking questions as well as listening, he enjoyed learning about your country and the stories that belonged to your life that the humans have told throughout the ages. You weren't a bragger but you did enjoy talking about your victories. And just as he would ask questions and learn, so did you. He was pleased that there was a person interested in hearing his backstory for once, it was refreshing.
His wounds slowly healed up and he was able to do more by the 3rd-month mark, he was honestly pretty much completely healed by the 2nd month, but he honestly didn't want to leave. He was growing to love this place as a real home. He had his own monkey friends now, a place to call home, and he had you... He didn't know how to feel about you. You were the first besides MK to show him any kind of real acceptance, but it was different from MK's, it was more... he couldn't explain it but he just knew it was more.
You washed his clothes, you cooked for him, you rubbed his fur as he relaxed on your lap, you'd spend time together in the garden and throughout the forest with the little monkeys, you'd laugh with him and sometimes even cuddle with him. You were like a missing puzzle in his life that he never realized he was lacking, you made him feel whole. His insomnia wasn't as bad anymore, he ate more, he trained with a purpose now... in fact, he was doing everything for a purpose now, and he wasn't sure when he started doing that.
You gave him happiness, joy, comfort, and love. You accepted him and all his flaws with no questions asked. He adored that about you. By the 5th month, he began to crave your constant attention, always wanting to hear your voice, whether it's laughter, talking, humming, or even just snoring, He always wanted to have you by his side, whether it was close or somewhat far, as long as he could see you he didn't feel alone. He began to cuddle with you at night when you'd both sleep on your bed, he started cooking breakfast with you, and his own collection of clothes began to build up.
Possessions from his old home that he could sneak over without your knowing, and even if you did, you never seemed to care. You never seemed to complain when you had to wash more of his underwear and socks than the one pair he used to have, you didn't complain when some of his weapons began to appear on one of your empty walls, you didn't complain when his shadow was being more playful with you, you didn't mind when he kissed your cheek good morning or good night, you didn't mind when he wanted to slow dance with you in the living room, you never minded, and that just encouraged him further.
The thoughts of MK and his friends would cross his mind, but the idea of leaving behind your sweet smile always made him put the group at the back of his mind with a fleeting thought. 'If they need me, then they'll come find me.' He'd think before he'd continue on with his new life.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
3 years have passed, and here he lives happily with you, the love of his life, his other half, the rings on your fingers shining brightly in the sunlight as you both sad outside on the porch on a small loveseat bench, his arm draped over the back of the seat while you landed into his side practically on his chest, watching over the newly born baby monkeys play with some of the slightly older ones, the little monkeys sat around you both as they enjoyed the quiet day with you both. Macaque chuckled as he shook his head and you looked over at him curiously. "What's so funny?" You asked, he shook his head with an amused smile as he looked out over the Sunflower Field Forest. "Oh nothing, just that I never knew what I needed until I met you." He said sweetly as he looked down at you.
You giggled at his words as you leaned further into him. "I'm glad you fell from the sky because you're something I never knew that I needed too." You said lovingly as you stared at the baby monkeys that played along the top of the sunflowers. His arm around your shoulder held you tighter to him. He sighed in contentment as he looked up at the sky, silently thanking whatever celestial being or god that brought you two together. 'It's my turn, to have a Happily-Ever-After this time.' He thought.

It was a relaxing Sunday, with no work, no school, most places were closed aside from stores, your home was dim, the curtains closed to keep the bright sunlight out so you could properly enjoy your movie. Today was a lazy day and you intended to enjoy it, by watching a good movie and hopefully dozing off afterward. You were deeply engrossed in the TV, your eyes locked on the screen as your mind made circles around all the possibilities of the what-ifs that surrounded what you were watching. Your phone lies on the couch next to you, ignored in favor of the TV.
You were pulled from your deep, dedicated attention from the TV when there was a knock on your door. You glanced at the door for a quick second before you looked back at the TV, you blindly reached for the remote in the general area where you placed it. Your hand patted quickly in small and wide circles as you felt for your remote, your eyes trained on the TV as you didn't want to miss anything. Another knock sounded on the door and you clicked your tongue in irritation, you looked away from the TV only to see that the remote lay against your hip, nowhere near your hand.
You rolled your eyes in annoyance as you picked it up and you paused the movie. You got up from the couch with a groan as you didn't realize you'd been sitting there in that position for a while. You stood up slowly, feeling the joints where they've been bent for far too long. You stood up straight and you stretched for a bit before another knock sounded on the door, sounding more urgent. You rolled your eyes as you walked over to the door. "Better not be a Jehovah's Witness." You muttered as you unlocked the door. The bright sunlight hurt your eyes making you close them tightly, you shielded your eyes by placing your hand over them but it did nothing. The large, muscular figure stepped over some, blocking the sunlight from your view and you mentally thanked them.
You blinked your eyes some before you were able to adjust and once you did a large smile appeared over your face. "AZU!!" You cheer as you jump forward, your arms wrapping around his neck and your legs wrapped around his waist, one of his large hands came to rest against your back. You press kisses all over his face making him chuckle at your antics. "Hello to you too, little gem." He greeted kindly. You pulled back from your kisses as you stared into his pink eyes. "Where have you been, Azu? I haven't seen you in forever." You asked as you stared down at him curiously.
He gave you a sweet smile in return as he leaned forward and he pressed his lips against yours gently before he pulled back. "I've been busy, little gem, I've been up in the celestial world, making up for lost times, I also paid Wukong a visit." He explained. Your eyes widen and your smile brightens. "So you actually went and tried to make up with him? You took my advice!?" You asked in excitement. He rolled his eyes playfully. "Yes, I actually listened to you and I actually took your advice for once." He said. You smirked down at him proudly. "HA HA!! I knew you would listen to me eventually." You cheekily said. He chuckled at you. "Yes, it seems you were right too." He agreed. You shrugged your shoulders. "I'm always right." You said with a proud smile.
"That you are." He agreed as he placed you down, you placed your hands on his shoulders to keep your balance as he bent slightly down to lower you to the ground. Your feet touched the ground and you stared up at him sweetly, your hands lingering gently on his forearms. "Also, I got you something from Sun Wukong's place as well." He said. Your eyes gleamed in excitement. "DID YOU REALLY!?" You asked him loudly. He nodded his head, you made grabbing hands towards him and he rolled his eyes as he held his palm out, summoning a canister. Your excited eyes dimmed down to a confused stare as you pointed at it.
"What's that?" You asked. He smiled as he held up the canister higher. "This here is your gift." He said as he presented it to you. You stared at it with question for a bit before you took the metal container. You turned it in all directions, getting a good feel of the object. The sound of liquid moving in the container could be heard and you looked up at him with an unimpressed stare. He smiled at you, showing you his sharp pearly whites. You rolled your eyes in a slight annoyed disappointment before you unscrewed the top. You were immediately hit with the scent of peach tea. "Mmm, it smells so sweet too." You said, a pleased smile now on your face as you spared him a glance.
He stared at you with wide eyes as he watched you intently, his pink eyes seemingly glowed darker as he did. You arched your brow at him for a moment before you shrugged and you drank some of the liquid. You pulled the container back some as you licked your lips, your eyes dilating as you took in the sweet flavor. "Wow, this is so good. This is the best peach tea I ever had." You said before you began to chug the liquid. He stared at you with an emotionless stare, his fists clenching and loosening as he watched you gulp the whole canister. Once you were finished, you pulled the container away with a satisfied sigh as you wiped your mouth off any access. "Man that sure... was... gwuood." You slurred, as your vision began to become distorted and hazy as you began to lose your balance.
Azure was quick to wrap his arms around you, allowing you to fall back into his hold. You weakly reached your hand up towards him, you wanted to speak but you couldn't. Your body suddenly felt heavy, your hand landed on his chest and he grabbed it gently with his as he crouched down allowing you to sit on his knee while his other arm held your shoulders from behind. "I'm sorry, my love... but I can't risk losing you... I needed to make you immortal, and the only way to do that was through the stone fruit. I figured that if I made you some peach tea using the fruit, it'd work the same, and it does. I'm so happy." He confessed as he smiled down at you gently.
His words were muffled but you could still hear him, he placed your hand down on your stomach as he pulled you closer to his chest, his arms wrapping around you in a hug. "You're dying, because your body is making you into an immortal, and once you've been rebirthed, you'll be just like me." He explained gently as he rubbed your hair and he held you tight to his chest. "Just sleep away the pain, and once you've awaken you'll feel brand new... and don't worry, I won't leave your side... I'll stay here the whole time." He reassured you. "I've been scared for a long time now, that I was going to lose you at the shortest of notices. Your soft body, your tender life, hung by everything in this world. I tried to get permission from the higher-ups to allow you to become immortal in the easiest way, but they're all up on their high horses." He further explained.
He felt your body going cold and he held you tighter, he hated the feeling, but it was the process of becoming immortal through the stone fruit. "You're dead... but this will be the last time you'll feel this way in my arms... You'll be warm again, smiling, laughing, frowning, sleeping, watching TV, eating... You'll be doing all the things you love, forever." He said gently as he rocked you slowly. "We'll be together, forever now. Nothing will separate us." He said. He sat there in silence for a moment, the sound of his own slow heartbeat was all he could hear as he held you. His eyes widened some when he felt your body begin to grow warm again, your heartbeat much slower than what it used to be sounded out and he breathed a sigh of relief as he sat down on his heels.
"I knew it would work, I just knew it." He said in a hushed voice. You slowly huddled up to him. "I'm cold." You whispered. He sighed in bliss at the sound of your voice as he stood up with you in his arms. "Of course, little gem, let's go and cuddle some. I believe that I am long overdue for a cuddle session." He said sweetly as he pressed a sweet kiss against your temple. You snuggled closer to him, your mind hazy as you couldn't recall anything, you just remembered drinking the tea... and then nothing. You sighed as you pressed your face into the crook of his neck. 'It doesn't matter, as long as I have Azu with me, then everything is okay... He always makes everything better.' You thought in contentment as you placed complete faith in your boyfriend.
'(Y/N)... We'll be together forever, I won't have to worry anymore, I won't have to fret and hustle anymore... We can live in harmony forever.' he thought happily, as he carried you to your bedroom.

His speed was breathtaking, and the only thing that was helping you keep your breath was the fact that you were hiding your face in his chest as he flew up into the sky along the side of the building.
"Where?" He suddenly demanded in question. You looked up at him for a moment in confusion. "Huh?" You asked, but your voice was so small and muffled you didn't think he'd hear you, but surprisingly he did.
"Where is your living space!?" He asked in an annoyed voice. "OH, UMM, THE 7TH FLOOR!" You shouted. He said nothing more as he flew a little more until suddenly, he stopped. The winds whipping past you suddenly stopped, you cautiously looked around seeing nothing but blue skies around you. The silence was deafening, you never thought about how quiet it was in the sky, it never crossed your mind.
He stayed there, suspended in the sky, you looked down and you immediately regretted it as you saw the city was far below you, the people looked like black dots while the vehicles looked like ants. "Umm.... why are we in tHE SSSKKKKKYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"
You scream as he suddenly plummets head-first toward the ground, your grip on his clothes tightens, and you tuck your head closer to his chest. He suddenly stopped, and you huffed in panic as your eyes darted around. You could hear the cars honking and driving, the chatting of people. You hesitantly looked around, seeing buildings not too far from where you both floated.
"Now that you've calmed yourself, which window is yours?" He spoke in an even yet condensing tone. You nearly scoffed at his question, but you held it back. "Umm, I think it's around back?" You said uncertainly. He rolled his eyes at you before he looked down at you. "How can you not know where you live? It's your building for crying out loud!!" He complained. You glared up at him. "I don't usually go looking for my place outside the damn building." You shot back annoyed.
He scoffed at you. "Whether you do or don't, you should know what landmarks you usually see from your window." He lectures as he looks around. You wanted to complain, but you couldn't exactly do that when he wasn't wrong. You looked around, trying to see anything that you'd usually see from your window, you looked behind you, and your eyes locked onto a large red structure.
"There!!" You said as you risked pointing at the structure. He looked down at you for a moment before he followed to where you were pointing. He hummed but didn't say much as he glided over, you locked your arm around his neck in panic when he did, but he didn't seem to mind as he glided around to the side of the building.
"Where?" He asked, you stared at the structure that was to your right now, you concentrated on the angle and your eye lit with familiarity when the angle matched perfectly. "HERE!!" You shouted, he cringed at your voice before he glared down at you. "Ow." He said irritated. You ducked down some in embarrassment, but you didn't say sorry, you felt that he deserved it.
He summoned his staff, and he pointed it at the window. You stared in confusion before your eyes widened in realization. "WAIT, YOU CAN'T JU -" But he ignored you as a large circle was cut into the glass, you watched in shock as the piece of glass he cut stayed in its place before he kicked his foot forward, making the glass fall into the room. You cringed when it broke into a million little pieces.
You looked up at him tiredly. "Way to go." You dryly said. He scoffed, but he didn't respond as he glided in through the hole. You looked around in slight confusion, and he seemed to notice. "What?" He snapped. You shook your head in shock. "This isn't my place." You muttered. He looked down at you in annoyance. "How can you not know your own place?" He condescendingly asked.
You glared up at him. "I forgot that my apartment isn't the only one that's in front of that red structure." You said irretrievably. He rolled his eyes. "How? You suddenly forget that your place isn't sharing another place with another? There are 7 floors for a reason, you must think your place is the size of one damn floor." He ridicules. Your glare sharpened. "NO, that's not the case at all." You spat.
He rolled his eyes. "Then what could possibly make you 'forget' that others occupied this same building?" He tested. "Oh, I don't know, maybe it's the fact that I've been kidnapped by an Eagle Demon that thinks the sun shines from the Crack of his feathery ass, I watched you murder a man, and then we fly nearly 100 ft into the air, come back down head first at what could be 75 miles per hour, and now I have to somehow figure out where exactly is my apartment that looks identical to every single other apartment in the fucking building!!" You ranted.
He stared down at you with an uncaring expression before he looked off to the side, and he arched a brow when he did. You huffed. "Git nothing to say?" You Sassed. "Who the fuck are you people?" Came a man's voice, your eyes widened as you whirled your head to look back at the man
He appears to have just been woken up, his black robe was open, showing that he was shirtless and was only wearing a pair of blue boxers, his hair a mess, and bags under his eyes. "Umm, we were just... passing through?" You said slowly as you tried to explain your reasoning. Peng rolled his eyes. "Really?" He chastised. You looked back at him for a moment before you looked back at the man. He seemed unamused and unconvinced.
"Right, that's why you busted the window, I'm calling the cops." He threatened as he pulled his phone from his robe pocket. Your eyes widen in panic as you push yourself away from Peng, he lets you do so as you rush over to the man. "No! No! No! No! Wait, I can explain!! It's strange, and it seems weird, but we really were passing through, we're looking for m... our apartment. But we, umm, came from outside."
You explained in a rush as you wrung your fingers, he stared at you with an unamused stare before he continued to dial the police. "And just what would you tell them, mortal?" The eagle demon challenged in an amused voice. You looked back at him, confused while the man glared at him.
"What? You'll tell them that a demon and some pitiful human girl -" "HEY!!" "Cut a hole into your window? Do you think they'll believe you?" He said through a chuckle. The man's gallery intensified. "I sure they will, with all the crime going on recently, they'll believe every word." He said as he put the phone to his ear.
You moved to plead with the man, but it all happened so fast. "I don't think they'll even be able to understand your gurgle, mortal." He spat before in a flash the man's throat was slit, you jumped back in horror at the sight as you watched him choke on his own blood, the phone he was holding fell to the floor, his blood pooling around his feet and the phone. You stared, frozen with panic and guilt, as you saw the look of fear in the man's eyes as he looked at you, silently pleading for help before he fell forward and he went quiet.
You could faintly hear the voice of the operator on the other end as she continued to repeat her curious concerns. The demon walked around you quietly, you watched as he crushed the phone under his talons. "Hmph, how annoying." He said. "You're a monster." You softly said as you stared at him. He looked back at you with a smirk. "Oh darling, you haven't even an inlet of what I am." He said.
You shook your head ever so slightly, he didn't say much else as he walked up to you. "Well, lead the way, girl." He ordered. You stood there frozen for a little bit longer before he suddenly grabbed your arm, you winced at the tight grip as he walked with you, and your feet dragged on the floor as you tried to pull his hand off your arm, he didn't seem bothered by your efforts as he walked towards the front door of the apartment, he unlocked the door and he opened it pulling you out into the hall with him before he closed the door behind him.
"Lead the way." He ordered once more in a stern voice. You nodded your head painfully, and you gasped in relief when he released your arm. You winced as you tenderly grabbed your arm while you walked ahead of him. Your apartment wasn't far from his, it was three doors down... you now lived close to a dead man... hooray.
You pulled your keys from your purse while you winced silently in pain, you unlocked the door, and you walked in, you stood by the door as you watched him walk into the apartment. He looked around curiously as he gathered his new surroundings. "Eh, it'll have to do." He said carelessly as his weapon floated to the side, and it vanished.
You rolled your eyes in irritation as you closed the door and locked it, you tiredly walked past him as he jumped on the couch to relax, you walked into the kitchen and you placed your purse on the counter. You sighed tiredly as you leaned down on your elbow your head in your palms as you stared at him tiredly.
He was flickering through the channels with constant complaints about each thing he saw and you'd agree some of it was valid. "What's your name?" You suddenly asked. The flickering continued, but he did give an answer. "Peng, be sure you remember that, girl." He said. You gave him an annoyed stare before you rolled your eyes.
"Well? Do you want to know my name?" You asked him. He scoffed. "What for? You'll always be simply known as 'girl' to me." He said. "It's so that you can call out to me in a crowded place, you know I'm not the only girl out here." You with a little head shake. He scoffed once more. "Like I haven't noticed." He sassed.
You huffed in annoyance as you grabbed your purse off the counter, and you walked past him on the couch as you made your way to your bedroom. You stopped before you went into your room, and you looked back at him tiredly. He wasn't paying you any attention as he finally found something that caught his attention.
"Well, my name is Y/N.... Just so you'll know." You said awkwardly with a shrug. He didn't even spare you a glance as whatever he was watching stole his attention so hard that he apparently couldn't even hear you... That or he was just an expert at ignoring people. You fanned him off mentally as you went into your room, and you closed the door behind you.
You sighed as you finally had, admittedly, a defenseless barrier between you both, but it was enough of a barrier for you. You walked further into your room, and you placed your purse on the dresser before you walked over to your bed and sat down. You huffed as the muscles in your legs relaxed some, and you got to work.
You plucked your shoes off with your socks, then you pulled your pants off, next was your shirt, and then your favorite part, the bra. You sighed in relief as you stood naked in your room for a while, your brain running through all the things you saw today. You shook your head in disbelief as you rubbed your brow. "Today's been crazy." You muttered.
"You know what else is crazy? You standing in your room naked and talking to yourself, now that's crazy." Came Peng's voice, your eyes widened, and you snatched your head over toward the door. He stood there leaning back against the door with a questioning bored look on his face.
You scrambled to cover yourself in panic while he scoffed. "Oh please, like you have anything that I haven't seen before, and honesty, I've seen better." He sassily said as he stared at you with an unimpressed stare. "GET OUT!!" You screamed as you sat under the blankets on the bed. He rolled his eyes. "Oh hush, I just need to know where the damn bathroom is." He said.
Your eyes bounced around as you searched for the information in your mind. "Oh my God, don't you know your own place?" He complained. You stared at him in frustration. "Would you just hush, I've had a rough day, okay?" You fussed. He arched a brow. "Ugh, you mortals are all so fragile." He said in a condescending tone.
You glared at him, but you didn't say much. "It's down the hall across from the kitchen." You dryly answered. He nodded his head. "Was that so hard?" He sassily said. You glared at him before you pointed to the side. "Would you just get out." You said in annoyance.
He huffed, but he didn't say much else before he stepped out, but he didn't close the door behind him. You groaned in annoyance as you flopped back on the bed. "This is gonna be a wild ride." You said to yourself.

Peng x Fem! Reader - Wish Upon a Star CH. 2
Ch . 3
Notes:
I'm sorry if I misgender Peng, but using They/Them is hard for me to adjust to. I don't mind the pronouns as I use them myself, but when I'm writing I usually use she/her or he/him. So Peng will have He/Him pronouns just so that that'll be easier for me to write. I have no issue with his pronouns being They/Them in canon, I support it all the way, but this is just to make it easier for me to write for them.

You were at work, leaning on your hand with a bored expression on your face as you stared down at your phone, you worked at a second-hand store, you were on cash register duties and today was a pretty slow and boring day. Not many customers were coming in today, but you weren't surprised, it was the middle of the month so most people were broke around this time. You sighed as you laid your phone down on the counter, you looked down at the box of clothes next to you, they were newly tagged and they were ready to be taken to the back so that they could get hunged up and put on display once more room was made on the floor.
You sighed once more as you bent over to pick the box up, you grunted a bit at the weighted box, and you walked from around the counter making your way to the employee section, you walked backward towards the easy push doors, you turned back forward as you walked deep into the back room. You placed the box down with a huff and you placed your hands on your hips, you looked around, seeing more boxes like the one you just took. "This is gonna take a while... good thing I'm on register." You said with a careless shrug as you walked back to the front, you pushed the doors open and you walked back to the register.
You stopped halfway when you heard chaos outside of the store's closed doors. You looked at the glass doors in confusion as you saw a few humans and demons run by before it was a whole crowd. You stared on in horror-filled confusion as you saw some of them begin randomly to drop to the ground motionlessly, blood pooling around their bodies as others stepped on them in blind panic. You watched them get blasted with some type of beam, some through their chest, others in their stomachs or heads. It was disturbing as you saw guts, blood, and bones spray over the citizens that ran past them.
Some tripped over them when they'd randomly fall in front of them, getting trampled to death in the process, one lone citizen stopped as he huffed from exhaustion, he looked around before his eyes landed on you, his eyes widened in realization and he charged towards the doors, he pushed them opened and he skids to a stop, his hands on his knees as he gasped for air. "Thank god I saw you, I've been trying to find a place to hide." He explained, he looked behind him at the chaos that was once the peaceful city of Megapolis. "What's happening?" You asked him as you walked over to him.
He looked up at you in confusion and slight anger. "What do you mean "What's happening?" DEATH AND DESTRUCTION THAT'S WHAT!!" He shouted as he glared at you. You gave him a deadpan stare. "I can obviously see that Captain Obvious, what I can't see, numbnuts is what they're running from." You shot back. He narrowed his eyes at you and you gave him the same stare back. He huffed in irritation before he turned to look out the doors. "It's some kind of beast, I don't know what it is, or where it came from, but it's pure evil, it wants nothing but chaos." He explained in a grave tone. You looked out the doors seeing citizens continue to fall and run past the store. You steeled your resolve and you walked past him.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asked slight panic in his voice. You ignored him as you approached the doors, you placed your hands on the doors, you paused the wish you made came to mind and you sighed... "Guess my wish is sort of coming true... it's pretty fucked though." You said as you pushed the doors open. "HEY!! IF YOU WANT TO POSSIBLY LIVE!! COME IN HERE!!" You shouted, some citizens seemed to hear you and they charged into the store running past you, other citizens who didn't hear you just followed others who ran into the building soon creating a train of citizens as they raced into the building. You watched as they ran inside, some had children, others helping the old and injured.
You cringed when you saw a gravely injured human get carried inside, his skull was busted open, his eye hanging out of its socket. 'No way that guy is still alive.' You thought. You stood there for a while holding the doors open for the panicking civilians to come in. You looked back into the building, seeing that it was getting pretty crowded, you didn't want to, but you had to close the doors soon, but you'd have to time it, if it got too full in the building others would begin to get crushed to death. You waited until there was a bit of a pause in civilians pouring into the building and you took your chance to close the doors but you paused when you saw what it was that they were all running from.
It seemed to be some sort of dragon-lion hybrid. It's teeth were razor sharp, its claws curvy, and the spins on its back were tall and also sharp. It was a real monstrosity, but what caught your attention was disturbing. The sight of humans and demons alike skewered onto its teeth and the spins on its back, blood covered the rim of its mouth, paws, and chest, it was a nightmare. You sucked in a sharp breath as you hurried and closed the doors, locking them in the process. You backed away from the doors slowly, hoping that nobody came pounding on the doors in panic. You watched helplessly as more civilians continued to run by, dying, crying, and screaming.
You were about to turn from the door, but you saw a young boy and a girl go running towards the monster, determined stares on their faces as they charged. You rushed to the doors, pressing up against them as you watched them in worry. 'Are they insane? They'll get killed.' You thought in worry as you watched them intensely. The smiling monkey on the back of his yellow jacket gave you confidence, you weren't sure why, but it did. You watched in amazement as a golden glow shined and a red pole appeared in his hand, you stared with wide eyes, as you saw them fight this giant monster, with no fear in their actions as they fought with it.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes at their antics at times, but you couldn't be mad, they were the only ones who could stand up to the damn thing. You stayed there, memorized by them as they fought, it was mystical almost, as you saw flashes of yellow and green shine bright. Your eyes widen when a giant monkey robot appears, handling the beast like it was nothing but a regular housecat. You watched for what felt like hours and once it was all done you cheeried in joy when the beast was suddenly blasted into nothing but dust. You stared in awe as you saw the boy in yellow slowly float down, the smiling monkey on his back.
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
You walked home, after helping the cops, ambulance, and firefighters into the store and telling them everything you saw, you were free to go. You walked along the sidewalk of the busy streets, the chaos from earlier almost seeming like a fever dream as you saw how calm everyone was now, but that's Megapolis for you. You sighed as you thought of the events earlier that day, you wanted to cry, you wanted to hide out for days after that, it was too real, too soon... Your fears grew to a maximum, making you even more paranoid than usual. You were just about to begin descending into your own darkness, but the thought of the boy in yellow crossed your mind, making you pause.
The smiling monkey on his back, for some odd reason, gave you strength and courage. You stood up straighter, stronger, and more prouder. 'If he could fight that monster without any fear, then you can live your life without any as well. "That's it, starting today, I'm going to be more fearless." You said with a determined stare. You nodded to yourself before you began walking once more, this time with more pep in your step. You walked past an alleyway and just like that, you were snatched into the space. You nearly screamed but a strong hand was placed over your mouth, you stared with wide and fearful eyes, locking them with pink sinister ones. "Scream, and I'll slice you up like paper and think no more about it." He said in an equally sinister voice that left no room for any lies.
You nodded your head to the best of your ability. He held his hand there a little longer before he backed up and pulled his hand back. You breathed heavily for a moment, taking in your attacker's appearance. He was an eagle demon, he wore some sort of golden chest armor that covered his chest and arched up into sharp points at his shoulders, in the center of it laid a purple shape with a red gem of some sort. Below it was a long purple cloth that covered his front from his chest to his feet, a golden band around his waist acting as a belt. He wore baggy black pants and some sort of green fabric that hung on either side of his hips flaring out at the ends with some golden tips. He wore golden wristbands and a green feather on the back of his head. The most intimidating thing about him was his weapon.
It was a staff with a large blade at the top, more gold at the base of the blade that was just as sharp, and at the bottom was a golden tip that seemed just as deadly as the blade. He was muscular and visibly strong and he seemed like he could back it up too. He stared down at you with a look of superiority. "And just what are you gawking at, girl?" He demanded, his tone rather sassy yet deadly. You shook your head as you looked away from him. He continued to stare down at you, his stare was unnerving, and you wanted to cry all over again. "And just when I was getting more confident too." You thought sadly as tears began to gather in your eyes. "Hmph, take me to your living space, mortal. I need a place to lay for a while." He said. You slowly looked over at him, scared that he'd probably attack you if you looked at him too quickly.
"You want me to take you to my house?" You asked him. He scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "That is what 'living spaces' mean after all, are you illiterate too?" He asked in a condescending tone. You shook your head quickly. "No, I'm just confused is all." You explained. He stared down at you a while longer before he stepped back from you some, he let his weapon go, allowing it to float behind him before his weapon vanished in a yellow glow. You stared on in amazement, your tense body relaxing some now that he stepped back. "I need a place to lay low for a while, and I figured housing with a mortal would be my best bet." He explained as he crossed his arms.
You stared at him in curious caution. "But why me? There are a million other civilians in this city." You explained as you looked at the street briefly before you looked back at him. He stared at you with the same condescending stare for a while before he gave a careless eye roll as he shrugged. "Eh, you just happened to pass by when I landed here." You stared at him with a flabbergasted stare. "Seriously?" You asked. He stared at you with an arched brow. "What? You expected me to give you a grand excuse reason as to why I chose you? I assume you must think this is some sort of movie where some person just gets randomly chosen because they're special or some stupid shit like that?" He said in a sarcastic tone.
You sink in on yourself in embarrassment as you think over his words. "If I were to say 'yes'? Would you call me stupid and laugh at me?" You sheepishly asked. He stared at you in question for a while before he scoffed. "No." He said. You sighed. "Good, because I don't think I'd be able to -" "I'd first call you stupid, force you to take me to your home, then I'll laugh at you." He said with a smirk. You gave him an annoyed stare before you sighed. "You know what, let's just go." You said in a tired voice as you walked out the alleyway. He walked behind you, his wide strides making it effortless as he kept up with you.
The walk was silent and you honestly almost forgot he was there until you happened to look into a passing window and you'd see his reflection. You focused on just getting home as soon as possible so that you could hopefully get in your bed and sleep and then maybe this'll be like one giant dream.

Once in the apartment building, you walked towards the elevator, some guy was already there but it was on the ground floor so it didn't really matter all that much. You stood next to the man, all silently waiting for the elevator to come down. The doors suddenly opened and the man moved to step on, but a white hand suddenly grabbed the back of his shirt. Both you and the man looked back in confusion, seeing the eagle demon was the one who was holding his shirt. The man glared back at him in annoyance while you stared on in fear. "Hey man, what the hell's your problem?" He asked in a snobby yet annoyed tone. The demon stared down at him. "I don't like your scent." He simply said, before he looked the man up and down. "Do your poor sense of fashion." He added. You looked the man up and down, and you could agree, that his fashion sense was pretty bad.
Who wore a bright green shirt with dirt brown pants and bright orange shoes? The man snarled at him as he whirled around, hitting the demon's hand off his shirt. "Look man, I don't what's up with ya, but you must be looking for a fight. It's a real shame that your girl here is gonna have to see you get your ass whooped." He said as he spared you a small glance. You rolled your eyes at his words as you watched the elevator close, you sighed. The demon noticed as well and his glare hardened. "Look what you made us do, you made us miss our lift, now we'll have to wait for another eternity for the blasted thing to come back!!" He complained. You nodded your head as you silently agreed with him again. The elevators did take a while to come down.
The man scoffed. "Hey, asswipe, if you hadn't noticed, I was waiting for the elevator too." He said in an annoyed voice. The demon stared down at him before he smirked. "Yes, you do deserve a reward for holding it for us for so long, I must congratulate you, in fact, I have a gift for you." He said, his tone happy but his crooked smile and evil glare screamed anything but 'happy. You backed away slowly as the man raised a brow at him. "What the hell are yo-" He wasn't even able to finish a simple sentence before his head was suddenly cut in half.
You watched, your scream stuck in your throat as you watched his body slump forward and it fell lifelessly to the ground. 'Holy shit... I didn't even see that... He's that fast?... He could've offed me a million times by now.' You thought in panic as realization began to dawn on you. The demon looked over at you, his eyes holding nothing but the promise of bloodshed. "From the fear in your eyes, I can see that you've finally understood what sort of trouble you've gotten yourself into now?" He said as he stared at you.
You stood frozen as you shook under his gaze, he suddenly turned towards you, and the tip of his blade suddenly pointed at your throat. "Fuck up once, and I can promise you that you'll be nothing more but a sour memory, much like our poorly fashioned friend here." He threatened. You stared at him with wide, unblinking eyes, tears gathering in your eyes as they grew dry. He pressed his weapon slightly harder against your throat, the tip poking the skin, threatening to break it. "Am I clear?... Mortal?" He asked. You stiffly nodded your head. He kept that position a little longer before he suddenly looked over at the elevator. He pulled his weapon back, letting it go as it floated and it vanished in a golden flash.
"Come, I have a much faster way to your living spaces than this mortal-made contraption." He said in a sassy tone as he turned from you. You relaxed and released a breath as you did. You were about to look down, but you stopped yourself, you honestly didn't want to see the mess he made. "And... what way is that?" You timidly asked as you walked towards him slowly. He stared at the entry doors before he looked at you over his shoulder, his pink eye gleaming viciously as he smirked back at you. "I'll show you, little girl." He said evilly. Your nervous stare turned into a cringed look. "That just sounded wrong." You said. He rolled his eyes before he grabbed your wrist and he snatched you towards him.
You gave a short shout of surprise before he pressed you close against his chest, his arm wrapped around the small of your back. You felt your cheeks warming up from the contact of his muscular frame. You stared on in awe as golden wings suddenly spread out behind him. "Wow." You whispered in amazement. He smirked down at you. "If you think this is cool, then you haven't seen anything yet." He said in a cocky tone.
He looked back at the elevator and he smirked when it opened. A young woman walked out and her eyes landed on him. She smiled at him as she waved at him, he waved back in return and he watched in amusement as she stepped out of the elevator. His smirk widened when she looked down and she went pale, before she could scream he laughed as he suddenly took flight, you buried your head into his chest as the powerful winds shot by you as he zoomed out the doors and he went straight up.
The sound of a woman screaming sounded out and he laughed evilly as he flew into the sky.

CH. 1 Peng x Fem! Reader - Wish Upon A Star
Paring: Peng x Fem! Reader
Rating: Rated M
Warning: Language, Mention of harsh crimes, mention of murder, mention of rape, mention of kidnapping, mention of depression, mention of paranoia, slice of life
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
You walked along the streets of Megapolis, brushing past the humans and demons alike that all walked among the streets, you kept to yourself never wanting to cause any trouble or have any issues with anyone. You kept to yourself never being the one for unwanted attention. You were shy but you could be wild when you were with the right crowd, however, you were a true introvert at heart. You walked briskly through the crowds, trying to make it home before it got too dark out, all of those case files that you'd been watching on your phone weren't making it any better, just the thought of getting kidnapped, raped, and murdered was enough to make you want to stay home at night.
You didn't usually have an issue with going out at night, but with Megapolis's crime rate going up, it was enough to make your staying out at night habit stop pretty quickly. You sighed in partial relief when you saw your apartment not too far from you, you walked across the street, making it to your apartment's main entry doorway and you entered, you walked straight to the elevator, pressing the up button. You stood there for a moment before the doors opened, you stepped on and pressed the 8 button. You stared at the man who raced to the closing doors, your heart raced at the thought of him possibly attacking you on the elevator, and you shamelessly pressed the button multiple times making the doors close faster.
Your shoulders relaxed as you looked down at your feet, you felt slightly guilty for doing that, but you loved living and you didn't want to risk it. You looked up at the small screen above the elevator, watching as the numbers slowly went up. You reached into your pocket, pulling out your phone as you checked the time. You weren't late for anything, it was just a force of habit to constantly check the time. It was 8:50 pm, and the sun would be going down in another hour or so, meaning you made great timing in making it back to your apartment.
The elevator came to a stop and the doors opened, your eyes widened slightly when you saw a small family waiting to get on the elevator. They smiled at you as they moved to the side allowing you to get off. You smiled back at them as you quickly stepped off, making your way down the hall to your room. '712, 712, 712.' You thought repeatedly as you walked to your room door pulling your key out so that you'd be able to unlock it as soon as you got to the door. '712.' You thought in accomplishment as you pushed the key into the keyhole, tasting it as you opened the door, you closed it and locked it, sighing in real relief as you began to relax.
Surrounded by the four walls of your small but perfect apartment always felt so refreshing. You turned on the TV, seeing the news was on, and you turned up the TV as you got ready for the night. You walked around your home, making yourself a drink as you silently listened to the news in the background, they weren't talking about anything really, just some idle chit-chat about the weather and what's happening in the sports community. You enjoyed your drink for a while before you took it with you into the bathroom, ready to start your skincare routine.
You placed your drink down on the tub as you looked in the mirror, you pulled out your skin cleanser and some cotton swabs as you got to work, your mind everywhere but the TV. You worked on your skin while taking a few sips of your drink whenever you remembered it sitting there. You got 5 minutes into your routine deep in thought but you were pulled from them when you heard the news lady behind you on the TV.
"A young woman was found dead in her car last night, the vehicle was parked behind a gas station, she was covered in bruises and burns, her clothes were missing and her gas tank and tires were all punctured. She was stabbed in her right side 48 times, and unfortunately, there were signs of a brutal raping before her untimely end." She explained live footage of the car showed up, showing the police tape around the car, showing her tires were all flat. A picture of the woman showed up next, showing her staring at the camera with a happy smile, the life in her eyes caught your attention and you couldn't help but think of how much life she had within her before she died in such a brutal way. You shook your head in shame before you went back to doing your skincare routine...
*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ *:・゚✧*:・゚
Throughout the night, you couldn't help but think about her, you thought of what she was like as a living being, what her family was like... 'Was her last moments terrifying?... Who did it, and why?... Was it a demon, or worse, a human?... She was so full of life in that picture, who could've done such an awful thing to her?... Was she lonely, like me?... Was she scared... like me?... Was she adventurous and outgoing? Or was she stuck in a shell ... too scared to make any new friends... too scared to hang out at night... too paranoid... like me?... Was she like me?' You thought, slowly becoming depressed with time as you thought of your own life.
You rolled over on your side, pulling the blankets up tighter on your body. 'I'm so pitiful... I'm scared yet I want to experience everything that I can... But how can I when I'm too scared to even say "Hi" at times.?' You thought, feeling sorry for yourself. The longer you lay there the more your thoughts became darker and darker. You sat up on your bed, pulling yourself from your thoughts. 'I can't sleep.' You thought. You got up from the bed making your way into your kitchen. There, you got yourself a light snack and something to drink.
"Guess I'll talk to myself till I get tired." You said boredly as you snacked lightly. You stood there silently for a moment, thinking of something to talk to yourself about when a light from your window caught your attention. You glanced at the window, the curtain pulled over it, and you looked away from it, thinking nothing more of it. You went to take another bite but the same light caught your attention again.
You stood up straight, a questioning look on your face as you slowly walked to the curtain. You lightly pulled it back, looking around cautiously before you looked up at the sky, your eyes gleamed in surprise as you stared up at the bright star. You pulled the curtain back, your eyes locked on the bright star. "That's gotta be a satellite or something." You said in disbelief.
You honestly didn't believe your own words, seeing as how bright and big the star was. 'Maybe I'll make a wish on a star.' You thought. You shook your head at your own thought. "What a childish idea." You said allowed through a scoff. 'What have you got to lose?' Came your subconscious. You thought over the words for a bit before you sighed. "Not much." You answered. You looked up at the star and you closed your eyes.
"I'm not sure how to ask for a wish, but I guess I'll start off with the age-old line... I wish, to be more confident, to be more ambitious, to be more goal driven, to be more stronger, to be more of who I wish to be... I wish to travel to see and meet new people... I want to make a whole new life for myself, while also making myself into a better person." You said. You opened your eyes, seeing the bright star was still there. You thought over your words and you sighed before you walked away from the window, pulling the curtain back over the window as you did. "I'm getting tired... I'm going to bed." You said aloud to yourself as you walked back to your room.
The star in the sky twirled some as it suddenly shot off into the distance over your apparent and into the mountains. The dust was thick but a bright red light could be seen through the thick dust cloud. The dust slowly began to settle revealing molten lava from how hot and fast the star hit the surface of the mountain. A well-built male stood up tall from the destruction, pink eyes shone through the darkness as wide wings expanded out from behind his back before he shot off into the sky.

Macaque x Nun! Reader - Come With Me
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Title: Macaque x Nun! Reader Come With Me
Paring: Macaque x Nun! Reader
Rating: Rated M
Warning: Child abandonment, orphans, lying, religious beliefs, abandonment of religion, Anthropolatry
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
The bells in the church charmed signifying the start of lunch, nuns of all ages raced down the stairs and through the halls, all coming from different directions as they made their way to the dining hall, children who were dressed in proper wear were mixed in with the nuns. Once in the dining room, they all separated, going to their usual seats with their friends as they all waited for lunch to be served. The children were all seated between a nun, child, nun, child, nun, child, and so forth. They were all chatting among themselves as plates and silverware were placed down before them by other nuns, it didn't take long for everyone to settle in, their plates empty as they waited for the head nun and the priest. Laughter and chatting could be heard for a while before the doors opened making everyone become silent immediately.
The priest bowed his head in welcome, and the nuns all greeted him back in kind, next came the head nun, and she too bowed her head in greeting, and everyone responded back in kind. They all silently waited for them to take their seats at the head of the table, everyone bowed their heads in prayer as the priest spoke. "We thank you, Mother Mary, for blessing us with this joyous meal that we are all going to share together. Thank you for allowing us to wake up and see another day, for watching over our young, and for keeping us all safe. Mother Mary, I ask of you to continue to keep your guiding hand over our heads as we continue about our day, I pray that we continue to follow you in your holy footsteps, to continue to rebuke the devil, in the name of Mother Mary, Brother Joseph and the holy child that is Jesus Christ, Amen." "Amen. " All the nuns and children repeated before they raised their heads, and they served themselves lunch.
The head nun watched all the younger nuns help make the children and themselves plates, she looked on proudly before her eyes suddenly darkened in the realization that a nun was missing. She gave an annoyed sigh as she shook her head. 'Sister (Y/n) is missing, again... I bet she's hanging out with that filthy demon boy again.' She thought in distaste as she looked towards the windows. The sky was mostly clear a few whispy clouds floated along, as you ran through the short green grass, your breath coming out in pants as you raced up the hill towards the old oak tree that sat tall. You raced towards it coming to a slow stop as you huffed, you ran the moment the bell rang, getting lost in the hungry crowd and taking advantage of their one-track minds as you ducked out the door.
You walked up to the tree, its thick trunk and equally thick branches always left you speechless, it was a giant, healthy tree, it's been there for as long as you could remember. You sighed as you placed your hand gently on the trunk of the tree, staring up at it with an admiring gaze. "I hope to live just as old as you one day, grand oka." You spoke aloud to yourself. A chuckle sounded out. "Hehehe! I doubt you'd be able to live that long, but hey, a girl can dream, right?" Came a male voice. You slowly smiled as you looked around, searching for the owner of the voice.
He couldn't be seen anywhere, your eyes darted back and forth as you looked for him. "I could if I tried." You spoke back in a half-hearted argument. "I'm not sure about that, you'd have to be immortal to pull off such a feat, something you ain't." He mocked. You rolled your eyes, but your smile grew bigger. "That may be true, but if I pray and believe in Mother Mary, then I can live forever by her side." You said, walking around the tree as you continued to search for him. He scoffed. "And you actually believe that? I've been to your so-called 'heaven', and believe me, there is no 'Mary' there." He spoke. Your smile slightly faded at his words. "If that's true, why do we pray to her then?" You asked.
"I don't know, perhaps it's a way to keep yourself sane, a way to have answers that don't exist, such as why the universe exists, who made the planets, and whatnot." He said, his logic always made you have doubts about your own beliefs, but you never gave up. "If that's true, then you must know who created those very things then." You said, trying to find a loophole in his response, you rouned the tree at a slow pace, vanishing behind the large trunk before Macaque walked at an equally slow pace behind you, an amused smile on his face as he played mary-go-round with you without you realizing it.
He gave an amused chuckle. "Wouldn't you like to know what I know." He said teasingly, you looked around thoughtfully. "I would actually, you say you know some of everything there is to know, and I would like to learn from you." You said honestly. He went silent for a moment before you pulled back in shock when he suddenly appeared in front of you.
You stared at him questionably while he gave you a devious smirk. "I can do more than just teach you. When I can show you." He said in a convincing tone. You stared at him, your eyes wide and glossy with curiosity and excitement. "Could you really?" You asked him, hope in your voice. He nodded, a charming smirk on his face. You looked down at his offered hand, and you looked back at the church. Uncertainty lay in your eyes.
"I can't leave the church grounds, it's against the rules." You said, sadness in your voice as you looked back at him, your eyes dimmed down with disappointment. He looked at the church with an unimpressive gaze before he looked back at you. "It'll be quick, besides, who would even know if you're gone or not, it's not like they know you're out here." He said his brow arching in thought. You stared at him nervously before you looked down at his offered hand and back at the church. "I don't want to disobey Mother Mary, for I've been blessed by her, and I don't wish to take her blessing for granted." You explained.
He rolled his eyes as he dropped his offered hand. "Oh, come on!! Being blessed by 'Mother Mary' doesn't mean that you can't live a little." He said as he stared at you with an annoyed stared. You shook your head as you backed away from him slowly. "I'm sorry, Macaque, but I can't disobey, I've been chosen, and I refuse to ruin it." You said, slight anger in your voice as you spoke to him. He stared at you with a bored stare before he looked away from you, he crossed his arms and leaned back against the tree. "Fine, go and continue to play good girl for 'Mother Mary', but I can tell you now, she isn't real, and she doesn't care for you like that." He said in a solemn voice.
You glared at him as you pouted. "She is real!! And she does love me!! She -" Your defense was cut off by a scoff by Macaque. "She what? Did she tell you herself? Or did you hear it from the fake priest who's sleeping with the head nun?" He challenged. You stared at him with disbelief as you slowly shook your head, you couldn't disagree with him verbally at that first statement because it was true, it was the priest who told you... Not Mother Mary herself. He watched as you slowly backed up from him, the look of betrayal on your face as your eyes shined with unshed tears.
"Sister Kantra was right about you, I should've listened to her." You whispered as your heart broke. He stared at you with a questioning yet knowing glare. "You should learn to live for yourself and not let others live through you." He said, you stared at him, your stare distant and lost. He continued as he turned towards you. "Tell me, do you really believe in 'Mother Mary?'... Do you actually believe that she chose you when there are a million other girls in that church who are just like you?" He tried to reason. You shook your head as you turned away from him, you walked back down the hill with brisk steps, but his voice could still be heard. "Why do you praise 'Mother Mary'? Is it because you think it's right? Or was it because you were told to do so?" He asked.
His question made you stop walking, as you thought over his question, your life flashed through your mind. Your parents dropped you off at the church, forcing you to be an orphan as they never came back for you. Growing up with the other orphan children and the older nuns, getting used to your new 'family'. The former head nun preaching to you that good things come to those who praise Mother Mary. You pray for your parents to come back, and you follow all the rules, never breaking a single one... Until Macaque came, that is.
You began hanging with the Monkey Demon, believing that perhaps he had answers that you needed help answering, and he did have answers. He knew everything, he was your blessing from Mother Mary, and he was a gift. You believed that he was an angel sent by her. you slowly forgot about your parents, listening to Macaque's words as they were always blunt and nothing but the truth. He always stayed honest with you, never holding back his harsh words, not even when they made you cry. But you liked that about him.
He stayed honest with you, no matter how hard it was on you. He told you that your parents left because they just simply didn't want you anymore, that they probably couldn't care for you anymore. He told you that all the nuns in the church didn't really believe in Mother Mary because none of their prayers were ever answered, just like yours... But then, the priest came and told you that you were chosen by Mother Mary, he said that she told him herself... and you believed it... but deep in your heart, you didn't.
Not with the way he was rubbing your shoulders and your arms, the way he grabbed the back of your neck, it felt wrong... So you clung to Macaque because he was the only truth in your life that you could believe in... You looked back at him, and tears ran down your face as your faith in 'Mother Mary' began to dissipate. "She's not real... isn't she." You said, not really asking a question. He stared at you with pity as he walked towards you slowly. You watched him through your blurry vision, the wind blew, bowling his cloak and his fur making your eyes widen.
'Beautiful... He's so beautiful... He's an angel, not sent by Mother Mary, but of his own free will.' You thought, your heart soared as the one being you clung onto became your new belief. He reached his hand out to you, a small yet welcoming smile on his face. "Come with me... and be free from this fake life you've isolated yourself in." he said, as he once more offered his hand to you. You gave him a teary smile as you reached for his hand, taking it with no questions asked. The figure of Mother Mary in your thoughts vanished, and you felt chains breaking around you. He pulled you towards him, a proud smile on his face.
You chuckled as you sniffled. "Come on, we got nothing to lose and a world to see." He said, as he rubbed your tears from your cheek. You nodded your head as you walked away with him, leaving behind a life that you never looked back at.

Nezha x Fem! Reader - Question

Nezha x Wife! Reader - Question
Paring: Nezha x Wife! Reader
Rating: Rated M
Warning: No Sex, Fluff, Mention of Lactation kink, Breeding kink
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Nezha has been your husband for a few years now, he was always in the Lotus Temple, inevitably guarding something. You've grown accustomed to this, spending 100s of years alone in your own temple, but you both always made time for each other's.
It was usually you who'd go and visit Nezha, you'd spend a few hours with him in the Lotus Temple, laughing, talking, slow dancing, and every so often, if you were able to convince him, sex.
Sex was an activity that you and Nezha didn't always partake in, it had to be a special occasion. His sex drive wasn't very high, and his job was more important than a little quicky, so you'd have to settle with your hands or a toy.
It wasn't idea, but you never complained, you knew what you were getting into when you started dating him. Today, however, was a surprise. Instead of you going to visit him, he came to visit you.
It was bizarre, he loved you with all his heart, but he only came to visit if something was seriously wrong. You immediately got into battle mode, your weapon was summoned, and your armor appeared. "What's wrong, Nezha?" You asked, and are ready to help defend.
He raised his hand calmly. "Rest, love, there are no threats." He calmly said. You stared at him in question before you relaxed, and your weapon and armor vanished. You sat down and got back comfortable as you gave him a questionable stare.
"Then why have you come, Liánhuā?" You asked. He slowly approached you, and as he did, you took in his person. You noticed that his staff wasn't with him, he had a tender stare, yet it was also hazy with something. You wanted to rub your eyes in disbelief at the haze, but you refrained from doing so.
'Is he possibly here to lay with me?' You thought. He usually took lots of convincing, but this time, it didn't seem to be the case. 'I wonder what's got him so worked up.' You thought as you watched him close the distance.
He gently reached for your hand, you raised it and laid it gently in his palm, and he rested his other hand over yours. He stared at you for a moment before he looked down. You tilted your head at him before you smiled sweetly at him. 'He's awfully nervous, the poor thing.' You thought in sympathy as you patiently waited for him to gather his confidence.
His eyes would flicker up to yours every so often, his cheeks flushed a pretty pink as he looked back down again. You kept your giggles to yourself, It took all of Nezha's willpower to make it down to your temple, and you didn't want to run him off.
"I... I was wondering... if it would be disapproving of me to ask you if I could..." He paused, his voice was soft and unsure as he spoke, yet it was stern meaning he knew what he wanted, but sadly, you couldn't read Minds. You leaned forward, your free hand cupping his cheek. "Nezha... No question will ever be disapproving to me, but I can't read minds, love." You gently said.
He finally took a deep breath before he looked you in the eyes, his stare was stern yet tender, hazy yet shy. You waited for him to speak, your fingers rubbing his palm gently.
He nodded his head ever so slightly before he took a deep breath. "I was wondering if I could suckle upon your breast like a newborn?" He asked. You blinked a few times, your brain processing his question.
'That's it?' You thought, he stared at you nervously, his palm moist but not sweaty. He opened his mouth to speak, but your soft chuckle stopped him, he looked up at you, shocked. The hand on his cheek pulled back to cover your mouth.
His cheeks reddened. "I, apologize if my question was ridiculous... I've just been having thoughts recently..." He timidly explained. You looked at him lovingly as you cupped his cheek once more. "Don't apologize, Liánhuā, I'm just pleased to know that you've come to me for once and not the other way around." You said through happy chuckles.
He stared at you with uncertainty before he relaxed, and he leaned into your palm. "I'm sorry about that, I have a duty to the Jade Emperor." He said. You nodded in understanding as you leaned your forehead against his. "You need not explain your behavior, Liánhuā, I understand, I knew what to expect once I fell in love with you." You said, your voice soft.
He smiled softly at you. "That's why I married you." He said sweetly, you chuckled lightly before you shared a kiss with him. "I would've never guessed that you of all men would have a lactation kink." You teased. His cheeks reddened as he looked down. "Me neither." He sheepishly agreed. You tilted your head in curiosity.
"What brought this on anyway?" You asked him. He stayed silent for a moment, his eyes darting around in thought before he looked at you. "The thought of you being pregnant with our child." He responded. You stared at him in shock. "A child... me pregnant?" You questioned. He nodded.
You breathed a sigh before a smile grew on your face. "Liánhuā, I would love to be the mother of your child." You said, your eyes slowly gathering unshed tears in them as you spoke to him. He smiled as he cupped your cheeks gently.
"Then we have to prepare for a new life." He said, you nodded in agreement before he pulled back. You chuckled as you allowed him to pull you up, you wrapped your arm around his offered one, as you both walked towards your bed chambers.
