Chapter 4: Castle Town
Tumblr media
While you, Zelda, and the others were making your way to the castle town, Link and Impa were as well but in a more frantic state.
Impa: Guh! Get back here!!
The little guardian was already racing towards the castle town, most likely locked onto Zelda's sheikah slate.
Impa: Losing the princess is causing enough stress, but now you're going haywire!
Link followed behind silently, as he often does.
Back with your group. You had finally reached the castle town.
Tighnari: So this is it, huh?
Zelda: Yes, if you'd like, I can show you around.
(Y/N): That would be much appreciated, and it will be a nice time killer until your friends arrive if they haven't already.
As you all familiarize yourselves with the castle town's layout and shops, the Akademiya and their mercenaries started asking around about their lost deity.
Zelda: And I believe that's just about everything. I hope you enjoy your stay in the castle town.
(Y/N): Thank you, we'll try.
Tighnari: Well, how'd it go?
Akademiya scholar: Terrible, we didn't learn anything except that they MIGHT be wearing a hood or some kind of ear covering, as they would stand out.
Tighnari: Well, that's bothersome. Well, we're already here, so let's see what they have to offer.
(Y/N): Oh, if you're going shopping, you'll need these.
You hand Tighnari a bag.
(Y/N): That's a bag of rupees, Hyrule's currency.
Tighnari: I can't take this for nothing.
(Y/N): Go on, I insist. Besides, I've saved up plenty by doing odd jobs here and there to fund my own research.
Tighnari, unable to think of an offer, reluctantly accepts. You quickly explain how rupees work in terms of worth, but you were cut off by a strange noise.
???: BWOOP WOOOH!!
Zelda: Ah, little one! Then that must mean...
Impa: Princess!!!
Impa and Link rush to Zelda's side.
Impa: Oh! Thank the goddess you're alright!
Zelda: Yes, I'm perfectly fine, thanks to our new friends here.
Impa: Oh, how rude of me. Ahem, as the princess's humble retainer, I thank you for her safe return.
Kaveh: Wait, did you say princess?
Zelda: Oh, I'm sorry, introducing myself seems to have slipped my mind. Ahem, I am Zelda, the princess of Hyrule.
Kaveh: Oh, uh, oh geez. Um, we humbly apologize if our behavior was out of conduct.
Kaveh was in a full-on bow, trembling as though he had seen a ghost.
Zelda: Oh, please, do drop the formalities. I much prefer if people speak with me genuinely and not so formally that I can't even understand what they're saying.
Wanderer: Hey, we've gotten all we can. It's time to go.
Kaveh: Must you always interrupt.
Zelda: I'm sorry you still haven't found who you're looking for, but why not come with us? We'll soon be journeying all across Hyrule ourselves so it wouldn't hurt.
Wanderer was about to dismiss Zelda's offer but felt someone nudge him. He turns around to find nothing and no one, as if the wind was urging him to accept.
Wanderer: *Sigh* Fine.
Zelda: Splendid, I just need to report to Father, and we'll be off.

Sagau x FEH update
___________________________________________
He, sorry I haven't been posting recently. My adhd meds are out of stock, so I'm either waiting for it to be in stock or I'm waiting for a new prescription, but while I'm able to focus, I thought I'd clear up something that some of you may be wondering about and to ask again for your input.
1. The reason Furina doesn't appear at the archon meetings despite still parading as one in this fic is due to her anxiety. She doesn't want anyone finding out she's a fraud.
2. I'm still debating whether to keep Bennett and Razor or have them return to Mondstadt. I'm leaning towards send home because it's easier, and I've already thought of several ways to write it (Edit: This would be writing out Beidou as well. Edit 2: The "No archon rule" also no longer applies as when i made it, I was thinking of the cult au, so this could also write in another character). On the other hand, I've also thought of a Razor interaction that could hasten the story due to his wolven upbringing.
Anyway, I thought I'd get this out while I could. See you later, and thanks in advance.

Chapter 9: Answers
Spoilers for Liyue archon quest and Zhongli's story quest and massive spoilers for Fire Emblem Fates Revelations and the Heirs of Fate dlc
Tumblr media
Once back at the Order of Heroes castle, you and Aether sat down and had a chat.
Aether: I have to ask, why didn't you use that power of yours, you know, the one you used to defeat the imposter?
(Y/N): That's because... I... don't know how to use it.
Paimon: What!?
(Y/N): It was just sort of dumb luck that it happened when it did.
Aether: Do you want me to teach you?
(Y/N): You can do that?
Aether: I can try. After all, it is similar to how I can command the elements without a vision.
(Y/N): Then yes, please teach me all you can
Meanwhile
Most of the archons were gathered at the goddess's gathering hall, watching you from an orb Nahida had made with help from said goddess.
Ei: I'm glad they're finally learning to wield electro, but why couldn't I have taught them that? (sigh) At least they have a dependable teacher in the Traveler.
(S/N): Yes, the Traveler is quite skilled in using the elements. They couldn't ask for a better teacher, at least for average elemental use.
Venti: What do you mean?
(S/N): Well, can the Traveler summon gales that allow even humans to fly or call a meteor from th heavens?
Venti: Hmm. Fair point. Speaking of meteors, where's Morax?
Nahida: Let's see.
Nahida concentrates on Zhongli until she finds him.
Nahida: Eh?
Back at the castle, you were now practicing combat techniques when you hear a familiar voice.
Zhongli: Ah, there you are.
You, Aether, and Paimon turn to face the former geo archon.
Paimon: Ah. Zhongli! What are you doing here?
Zhongli: I came to ask our friend here something. Would you two care to hear it?
Paimon: Sure.
Aether: Of course.
Zhongli: I've heard about your device, so you probably already know this, but I'd still like to formally introduce myself. I am Rex Lapis, the now former geo archon. Others refer to me as Morax. I have come in search of an answer, and considering I was told you have intimate knowledge of the realms connected to Askr, I thought it more efficient to ask you directly. Simply put, is there any world that has a cure for erosion?
Aether and Paimon were left speechless, not only by Zhongli's question, but the fact that he trusts you enough to reveal his identity.
(Y/N): This is about Azhdaha, isn't it?
Zhongli: Yes.
(Y/N): There is one and only one world where erosion or something similar was successfully combated. In this world, a dragon by the name of Anankos isolated himself from humanity because he feared his minds deterioration, but when it finally did deteriorate, he flew into a rage. Believing that he was abandoned by the same kingdom that once sung his praise, he destroyed it and severed it from the mortal world entirely. Before he succumbed to erosion, he wrote a song, a song that, when sung whilst possessing his dragon stone, would weaken him, and in the main timeline of this world, it was used to kill him. However, in another timeline, several people willingly gave up some of their own memories to ensure the singer's safety as otherwisehe'dhave endured sufferingfor the rest of his life. I can not tell you what altered his fate in this timeline, the memories sacrificed, the souls of the departed returning to aid the living, or just pure happenstance, but it does work. Whether or not this is a permanent solution, I also do not know
Zhongli: I see. Thank you, but might I ask? Azhdaha doesn't have a dragon stone. What do I use for him?
(Y/N): Dragonfall. It doesn't need to be a dragon stone, just something close to Azdaha's heart, and considering that's what got through to him last time it might work.
Zhongli: And the song?
(Y/N): Oh! That might have been what altered Anankos's fate. Azura sings the song, but she's only ever sung three of the four verses. Her son, Shigure sang that final verse. Oh, but you'll have to wait if you're thinking about asking for their help, we're kind of going through something here ourselves.
Zhongli: I see. One more thing, do the lyrics matter?
(Y/N): Um. I'll have to ask Azura, but probably not considering how similar Anankos's and Azhdaha's situations are.
Zhongli: Understood, thank you. I shall await word of your duty's completion and lady Azura's answer. I'm afraid I can not assist you with whatever troubles your land, as I have my own duties to attend to.
(Y/N): Understood, have a safe trip back Zhongli.
As Zhongli departs, you turn back around to see Paimon and Aether holding their heads in confusion.
Paimon: Ugh, Paimon's head is spinning. What was all that about. Um, spirit dragons I think.
Aether: Don't ask me.
You were about to try and get their attention when Anna burst in.
Anna: Summoner, Traveler, that woman we rescued is waking up.
The four of you rush to the infirmary.

Basically, what it would be like if other protagonists landed in Hisui.
CW: Contains spoilers for Legends: Arceus (duh), Black2/White2, Sun/Moon, Ultra Sun/ Ultra Moon
I know these games have been out for a while now, but I still felt like tagging for spoilers just in case someone new to the series wanted to start playing spoiler free.

Ingo:...
Hilbert/Hilda:...
Irida: Do you think they know each other?
Adaman: Why do you ask?
Irida: They've been staring at each other for almost ten minutes.

Nate/Rosa: I get the feeling I shouldn't have said that.
•Elio/Selene (Sun/Moon)
Kamado: Remember, you are a stranger in these lands, and people will not trust you so readily.
Elio/Selene: You've told me this several times now, and you're the only one to constantly remind me of this. Is it maybe you're the only one who doesn't trust me?
Kamado:...
Elio/Selene: Sorry. I just have trust issues after my friends' mom went insane and tried to kill us.
Later
Elio/Selene: F**KING KNEW IT!!!
•Elio/Selene (USUM)
Elio/Selene: Wormholes are popping up everywhere. The sky looks like the world's about to end. If I have to fight a light consuming dragon, I quit.
After quelling the enraged legendary
Elio/Selene: I should have been more specific.

Note: I don't know why I decided that Elio and Selene would be so done with everything, but I f**king love it. These were the only few I could actually think of anything for in terms of actual differences. Before anyone says anything, yes, Nate and Rosa also hang out with Ingo, I just didn't want to repeat myself.

Paimon: But, why would the head of the Tenryou Commission let us break out a known criminal?
Ayaka: Perhaps she also sees the cruelty in all of this.
(Y/N): *She knows, doesn't she?*

Chapter 8: The Flames
TW: Depictions of burnt corpses
Tumblr media
You, Aether, and the others rushed to the assembly grounds.
Anna: Listen up troops! The eastern reaches of Askr are under attack! They're targeting Gnótthæð
Sharena: Is it Embla?
Anna: We don't know. The soldier who carried the report is unconscious... with terrible burns all over his body. In his suffering, he repeats one phrase again and again: "the flames..."
Alfonse: The flames...
Anna: We must find out what's going on. It's well past time we left. Make your preparations quickly and move out.
Noelle: I want to help as well, I know I'm not a knight of Askr, but I can't sit by while innocent people suffer.
(Y/N): Hey, I won't say no to extra help, but if things start to look bad, you get out of there. You may be capable, but you're also our guest. If anything happens to you, then that would reflect on us. Also, Breidablik's special capabilities only work on heroes who have formed a contract with its weilder, and there are no teleport waypoints or Statues of the Seven here. If you fall out there, that's it, the end of your road. That also goes for anyone else who wishes to volunteer.
Albedo: If you're that worried, why not form a contract with us?
(Y/N): I'm afraid it's not that simple. When a hero is summoned and a contract is formed, time stops in that hero's world so that they may aid us without repercussions. That cannot be the case if a contract is formed with someone from the same world as ours. For any of you to form a contract with us would mean to be suddenly pulled away from your duties.
Albedo: We already go through that for their grace.
(Y/N): But are you willing to go through that for us.
Everyone silently ponders.
(Y/N): You don't need to decide now. Everyone who is coming, make your preparations.
On the way to Gnótthæð, Kaeya approaches you.
Kaeya: So what can you tell me about our destination
(Y/N): Gnótthæð is a farming village. If our enemy is Embla, then it is likely they're preparing for another war by targeting our food supplies.
Kaeya: I see. You didn't mention the possibility of brigands.
(Y/N): You heard commander Anna. No brigand pyre could cause such mental scarring. I've got a bad feeling about all of this.
Your March soon comes to a halt as you arrive at what once was Gnótthæð village.
Alfonse: What... has happened? This place was famous for its bountiful farmlands, but you'd never know it now.
Sharena: We... we used to come here with Mother when we were children... This is a cruel rebuke to my memories. Beyond cruel...
Anna: Alfonse! Sharena! Be on your guard! The enemy is here!
As Anna stated, your enemy made themselves known. Three Emblian soldiers came forward and were swiftly defeated.
Anna: They're marching under the Emblian banner, that's certain.
Sharena: So it is Embla that's behind this. I'll never forgive them.
Albedo: These flames, shouldn't they be dying down?
Sucrose: I believe so, yes.
Alfonse: The prophecy... can it be?
(Y/N): What prophecy?
Alfonse: A very old prophecy that tells of the end of the world. "Cloaked in flame, he crosses the sea, unquenchable, insatiable, undying flame. Trees fall, mountains burn, steam billows. The seas are swallowed. The stars become cinders, and the moon falls from the sky. The world, devoured by flame, smolders out."
Paimon: Smolders out... AS IN DESTROYED!?
(Y/N): We need to learn more. Let's split into groups. Group A will focus on combating the enemy troops, Group B will focus on finding any survivors they can.
Bennett: Hey, Razor, you've got a good nose. Can you sniff out any survivors?
Razor: Flames burning too high. All Razor smell is ash.
Group A: Anna, Sharena, Alfonse, Kaeya, Beidou, Razor
Group B: (Y/N), Aether, Kazuha, Bennett, Noelle, Albedo, Sucrose, Mona
(Y/N): It was still a good idea Bennett, and it would have worked in any other scenario.
Bennett: Enough about that, we've got people to save.
Bennett rushes to the first area to begin searching with the others. You notice Kazuha is trying extra hard to focus.
(Y/N): What's up?
Kazuha: It's no use. The wind is of no aid to me here. If it were to whip up here, it would only serve to fan these flames, putting us and any survivors in greater peril.
(Y/N): It's okay. If I were relying on your attunement alone, I wouldn't have suggested we split into groups.
Kazuha nods and continues searching. Time passes, and not one survivor found. Only the charred remains of unrecognizable bodies looking more akin to a burnt log than a human.
Paimon: Oh. Paimon's seen plenty of tragic tales unfold while accompanying the Traveler, but did no one survive this?
Aether: I've seen many things, but this honestly makes my stomach turn.
Anna: Everyone, we're almost at the area the report came from. Get ready.
Everyone readies themselves, both physically and mentally. When you reach your destination, you are met with a shocking sight.
Anna: You! Tell me your name and affiliation. Wait a minute. Who do you think you are?
Sharena: Two commander Annas?
(Y/N): Or a shape-shifter more likely.
???: My, you are quick, aren't you?
The being changes form before your eyes.
Loki: I am Loki, loyal servant to His Royal Highness, King Surtr. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm even more pleased to bid you farewell. Though I must apologize, I suppose. You'll be dying here. Oh, but just look at how many of you there are. I'll need a bit more muscle to even the odds.
With that, Loki waved her staff and summoned what appeared to be 20 soldiers. The soldiers all rush at your group.
(Y/N): Kazuha! Sucrose! Scatter them!
Both Kazuha and Sucrose use their Eskils. Sucrose summons a whirling vortex that knocks the enemies flat, while Kazuha pulls the rest in before launching them and himself into the air, which he takes advantage of by performing a powerful plunge attack. The others swoop in to deal with their foes while their stunned, finishing five of them, while the rest recovered. The battle seemed to only amp up from there as these remaining soldiers were agile. As an on field tactician, it's your job to call out any threats to your allies while not neglecting your own safety. As you're fending away one soldier, you spot another charging for...
(Y/N): NOELLE!!
The young trainee didn't even seem to react. It was only after you saw her Breastplate shield come up that you breathed a sigh of relief before being assaulted by another soldier. Whoever this enemy is, they have certainly heard about you. Maybe it was because you were distracted or maybe their just stronger, but this soldier wasn't dealt with as easily as the last. Aether saw you struggling and slashed the soldier across the back, allowing you to push them away and finish them with a shot from Breidablik. Kaeya was in the zone, 3 enemies charge him and he swings his sword so that it moves through every gap in their defenses (rather impressive for someone wearing an eyepatch). Bennett tried his best to help, but he was scared his vision, and bad luck, would only make the fire worse, and when you rely on something as much as a vision, you tend to be lacking in skill, unless you're an avid study of your preferred weapon that is. Two soldiers had him cornered, and as one was about to strike, Beidou swooped in and countered with her Tidecaller, and because it was a counter, it powered up enough to finish them off.
Beidou: I gotcha kid. Don't worry.
Bennett: Thanks.
Sharena, Alfonse, and Anna were in perfect sync and decimated 4 soldiers sequentially. Albedo was watching as two soldiers were charging at him, so focused on him, they didn't bother to watch their step. Albedo activates his Burst, causing Fatal blossoms and Geo crystals to burst from beneath his would be assailants. Mona was more annoyed than anything, having only dealt with one.
Mona: These soldiers are using the burning buildings as cover. HOW IS MY HYDRO NOT PUTTING OUT THAT INFERNAL BLAZE?!
Razor dealt with the final few by unleashing his own burst, swinging his claymore at speeds that shouldn't be possible for a human, a normal one at least, but there's nothing normal about this lot.
(Y/N): That seems to be all of them. Now, where's Loki?
Aether: It seems she may have slipped away in the chaos.
(Y/N): (sigh) Well, I suppose that's all we can do here. Come on, let's... Huh?
Breidablik was reacting to something nearby, emitting a light in a particular direction.
Paimon: Uh, is that normal?
(Y/N): No, this is new.
You decide to follow the trail that the divine weapon was providing you, and at its end, you found a girl, unconscious and in need of medical attention, but alive. You're glad to find SOMEONE alive in this place, you don't want to imagine everyone's reactions if you hadn't, especially the youths amongst you. You bringer to the others and explain what happened, and you all agreed to bring her back to base.
___________________________________________
Sorry this took some time to complete, I'm new to writing in general, so writing a fight scene, especially one with so many characters, was challenging. Also, I don't have some of these characters, so I hope I got their skills and bursts right.

Pokémon x Sagau Pt.2
___________________________________________
• A few days later. You had summoned at least one person from each nation who you were familiar with, as well as the Traveler. From Mondstadt, you had summoned Amber, Noelle, Sucrose, and Albedo. From Liyue, Xiangling, Zhongli, Cloud Retainer, and Baizhu. From Inazuma, Kamisato Ayaka, Thoma, Arataki Itto (Shinobu came to keep him out of trouble), and Grandmaster Hanakado. From Sumeru, Kaveh, Dehya, Faruzan, Tighnari, and Collei. From Fontaine, Freminet (The twins came for moral and emotional support), Navia, and Chevreuse. Lastly, Snezhnaya, Childe and Sandrone.
• You explain the situation in full for those who were unaware of the state of things and your reasons for summoning each of them. The mechanically gifted and more dexterous (Amber, Noelle, Thoma, and Collei) among them were to learn to craft pokéballs, as while not machines exactly, they had enough small components that you couldn't leave this in the care of blacksmiths. You apologize to Cloud Retainer as you understand this is rather trivial to her, but she brushes it off, claiming to understand how grave a situation this is. While the others' main priority is to provide pokéballs to the rest, it doesn't mean they can not also aid in capturing the Pokémon that had been flung from their homes.
• You explain that Tighnari, Zhongli, Sucrose, and Albedo's mission is to study these new creatures, as while you may know a great deal about them, you know not which ones have appeared, nor will you always be there to lend guidance, so such information must be made available to the public. Zhongli couldn't help but ask why he was involved in this when he's a stone expert, to which you explain that there is an entire category comprised of living stone as well as those that make use of camouflage, the former geo archon was surprised that living stone was a common thing in another world. Baizhu was told that these creatures could hold medicinal properties and healing powers as well, so you wanted him and Tighnari to find ways to counteract the harmful effects of these creatures by studying them.
• Finally, the rest were to be the first tutored in Pokémon battles. While the craftsmen stayed with Uxie, the rest followed you to the sparring grounds, which were built for the soldiers that stayed in your home to keep them sharp. You, having had some practice in your powers, decided to expand it a little. It helps that it's in the back with nothing hindering expansion aside from a bit of landscaping. The new grounds were designed around a traditional Pokémon battle arena, with clear indication of where each person stands while the battle takes place and a pokéball symbol at the center, and you also create a few bleachers for everyone to watch from.
• You decide the first to battle you would be Arataki Itto. Everyone is surprised by this, but you simply tell them to watch, and they'll see why he was your first choice. You decide to dummon a Pokémon that would fit Itto's battle style at that moment, that Pokémon being Grubbin, and you decided to also use Grubbin to keep things fair, it wouldn't be much of a lesson if you beat him in one hit after all.
• You hand Itto his Grubbin as well as a piece of paper. You explain to him that the words on the paper are the moves that it can use, being Vice Grip, Bug Bite, String Shot, and Spark. Your Grubbin had the same moves. When you both reached your designated places, you commanded your Pokémon to battle.
• You opened by binding your opponent with string shot and hitting them with spark. Once Itto's Grubbin breaks free of string shot, he also commands them to use it. However, instead of binding your Pokémon, he commands his to spin yours around before slamming them into the ground. Just as you thought, Itto's not a traditional trainer by any means. You command Grubbin to use bug bite to break the string before Itto could repeat this tactic.
• You order your Pokémon to use spark, to which Itto's Grubbin responded by burrowing underground. You were shocked at first, you were almost positive it didn't know dig, then you remembered this isn't a game, Pokémon can still use their natural abilities even when their move slots are taken up. After a while, Itto shouted for his Grubbin to use vice grip, after which it burst out of the ground, tossing your Grubbin into the air before catching it with its pincers. The way your Grubbin was trapped made it difficult for it to escape, all the while Itto's Grubbin was squeezing yours tightly. You thought and thought before commanding Grubbin to use spark once more. Because it was in its opponent's pincers, the move immediately started damaging its opponent. Itto then commanded his Grubbin to slam yours into the ground, letting it go while also causing it damage. Both of your Pokémon were barely able to stand, and you decide to call it there.
• Itto nearly collapsed from the adrenaline leaving him. He noticed his Grubbin running or scuttling up to him despite nearly being drained completely in battle. He picks them up and goes to petting the little thing, praising them for an awesome job. You tell Itto that if the two had formed a bond that he may keep them and may even name them. Itto was excited but also confused. You explain that because Pokémon are their own living beings, it is their choice to follow orders, and so a bond is necessary, other wise you won't be able to battle properly or at all in some cases. So, while everyone here would receive a Pokémon to start with, they would need to form a bond with them first.
• As you moved along, gifting everyone their starters and covering the various topics such as type match ups, STAB, status effects, etc. Afterward, you decided to see how everyone else was doing. Most everyone had made about 10-15 pokéballs while those who tinker on a more routine basis had made about 50 each. Due to lacking technology, most notably the lights at the pokéballs' center, these resembled the Hisuian variety.
• You talk with Zhongli and Cloud Retainer in private, again apologizing, as you understand Liyue had a huge ordeal about not relying on Adepti anymore, but in this situation you didn't see a way around it. They told you not to worry about it, as this was quite the perplexing circumstance.
• After everyone had been taught to battle, it was time for the catching lesson. In this case, it was more a throwing lesson for others. While those like Amber, Collei, and Tighnari were good to go, and I imagine Tartaglia had experience in snowball fights, and Shinobu throwing kunai, the others were struggling, either throwing too hard or too soft, rotating their wrist too far, or simply not knowing how to aim their throw. You asked for help from the others because if you were the only one teaching, you were going to be here a while.
• After all of that, you asked them all to teach this to the people of each nation as well, hoping that this would be enough to spread the knowledge to every corner of Teyvat.
• Everyone was satisfied with their roles and were about to leave when Paimon asked why it was so important to catch these Pokémon. You explain that by now, they must have noticed that these creatures are no normal animals, and if left unchecked, would potentially wipe out all other species in Teyvat, not only causing many creatures to go extinct, but because you have no way of knowing how many of every species might appear you could not rely on them to replace those animals in the food chain meaning it would throw the entire ecosystem into chaos. Seeing Paimon's confused face, you added it also means no more sticky honey roast, that certainly got her attention.
• You tell Zhongli one more thing. You open a box of evolutionary stones and ask him to keep an eye out for them as they have extraordinary effects on certain Pokémon and you'd rather these effects not take place in the wild, giving him the box for the other stone experts to examine as well. He bows and makes his way back to Liyue.
• You decide to create a terrarium as an extension to your home, crafting it to the most minute details. It contains multiple biomes, including a swamp, plains with lakes, a jungle, a desert, a beach, an ice mountain, volcanic caves, some normal caves, and a mountain with storm clouds generating lightning (for the Pokémon that feed off of electricity). This would be where all of the Pokémon not in use would be kept.
• By the end of the day, you were exhausted. You thought that if you ever lived with Pokémon, that it would be exciting, you never accounted for having to not only teach people about them, but also make a place to keep them. At least that's behind you now. That night, you slept like a log.

Sorry if the reader apologized too much, I may have been a people pleaser in the past. I also used this as practice for writing fight scenes, which is a reason why my crossover fanfics haven't updated in a while. Also, I tried to find info on pokéballs, more specifically if they needed to land a certain way to work, and no dice. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this.

Pokémon x Sagau
I've been in a real Pokémon mood lately, and I really liked how my SMT x Sagau post turned out, particularly how it set up a story while not being a prologue or first chapter so I thought I'd try that again here.
Not proofread
___________________________________________
• Today started as any other for you. You were departing Liyue to make your way to Mondstadt. While the residents were upset you were leaving, they understood it was part of your duties.
• Halfway to the city, you were greeted by the sight of knights. This wasn't out of the ordinary, but something was off. One of the knights had just arrived from a battle to aquire your aid, and apologized profusely for bothering you with something before you could even reach the city.
• You told him not to apologize and that you understood this must be an emergency for them not to report this to Jean, but rather come straight to you. After calming them down, you ask them to lead you to where this battle took place and explain on the way there, to which they respond with a firm nod.
• They explain that a strange blizzard had started in Dragonspine. Lisa and Albedo had already confirmed this blizzard to not be magical, yet it wasn't natural either, so many theories were being thrown around until Eula came barging in with Amber in her arms. The Outrider's arm was frozen from shielding Eula. In a fit of rage, the Spindrift knight attempted to attack, but everything she threw at it bounced right off. She had tried to tell the knights not to fight it, but they wouldn't listen, either being too hot-headed or too proud to believe that a beast could defeat them. Only a handful of the knights who went escaped injury and returned to base to await orders, while the others are in the infirmary.
• You reach the knights of Favonius HQ and investigate the injured, coming to the conclusion that they'd be fine, but that they would need about a week to a month of rest depending on the severity of the injury. You then demand to be taken to where the beast was spotted. While many protested, they immediately ceased when you glared at them.
• You decided to bring Venti, Noelle, Razor, and Diluc. You thought to make use of Venti's wind and Diluc's fire to protect the group from both the blizzard .and Dragonspine's environment, while Noelle could both heal and defend, and if you're dealing with a beast, it helps to have someone who understands how they behave.
• When you arrive at your destination, you find.... nothing. You look around confused before the ground beneath you starts to shake and split apart. Everyone quickly gets away from the area as the beast bursts from the ground, revealing a face you immediately recognize. Mamoswine.
• You order almost everyone to attack but not to kill the creature. They were confused but obliged, Razor sitting back by a lit torch as you explained Mamoswine are immune to lightning.
• When the battle ended, the Mamoswine was struggling to stand. You began to approach, everyone calling out to you telling you not to get close, but you didn't listen. When you got close enough, you could finally see them well enough to recognize them as female, but you also saw that she was trembling and had a pink ribbon on her tusk. The poor girl was not only scared and confused in a new world but was also separated from her trainer.
• You reached out your hand and rubbed her head. This caused her to relax, allowing herself to collapse and breathe gently before she began to whine. You speak to her gently, telling her it's okay and other things to make her feel better.
• You tell the others to keep an eye on her while you make a quick call. They are confused about who you're calling, but do as they are told. Razor can't help but smile at how well you understand animals.
• In a matter of minutes, a golden figure appeared and after a while made a motion towards the Mamoswine, causing her to disappear. The golden figure apologized to the Teyvat residents and explained how this happened. After the fiend Cyrus gained control of Palkia and Dialga, space-time distortions began forming all over the world. The being who introduced himself as Arceus then explained how this occurrence may be far from the last, to which you respond with asking him to bring a being named Uxie here. Arceus grants your wish, and knowing what you plan to do, leaves a piece of himself behind. Before he leaves he states that any Pokémon caught may be kept, but you state any trainer owned Pokémon must be returned to their home world, explaining that said Pokémon can't be caught in pokéballs.
• Thus begins the mission of this world's trainers, capture Pokémon, complete the pokédex, and subdue and return any and all lost Pokémon.
• You were capable enough to teach everyone the basics of catching and battling, but Uxie was the one who taught the art of crafting pokéballs to those dexterous enough to handle all those tiny parts.
___________________________________________
This got much longer than I intended and I still didn't write everything I wanted to, so there will definitely be a part two to this, mostly pertaining to the roles everyone would play, but also with how teaching everyone goes

Pokémon Legends Arceus Retained Memories Headcanons
TW: Depictions of PTSD
Tumblr media
• So we all know that the protagonist is post Daimond/Pearl/Platinum Dawn/Lucas (whichever you picked), so why doesn't it feel like that. It honestly feels like they've lost their memories like Ingo did, but that's clearly not the case as proven by their dialogue choices, so here's a few headcanons I made where MC remembers everything.
• Upon meeting certain characters, MC will tense up as if ready for battle. These characters would include Laventon(upon noticing the golden G on his lab coat), Cyllene, Arezu, and Coin. Likewise, they would have an overall positive reaction to Rei/Akari, Kamado, Volo, Mei, and Cogita.
• Upon finding space time rift Pokémon, excluding Sneasel and Weavile, MC makes their own Pokedex entries, which Laventon studies with the type of glee only a researcher can show.
Magnemite: The magnets at its sides are used to feed off of the electricity contained within a metal unit. The advancement of technology in this creature's time makes Pokémon like this much more common.
Magneton: As a Magnemite grows in strength, so to does its magnetism, often times causing it to link with other Magnemite forming Magneton. The increased magnetism has also increased this Pokémon's core temperature significantly. Direct physical contact is ill-advised.
Magnezone: Exposure to Hisui's central mountain's magnetic field has caused the three Magnemites' bodies to meld into one Manezone. Using its magnetic waves, it is capable of a form of echolocation similar to Zubat's. How magnetic waves are capable of this is difficult to explain, but if one ever finds a Magnezone in the wild, it is best to take cover and wait for it to pass.
Porygon: An artificial being created by future technology. Calling this thing a life form seems rather extreme, as all studies have shown it has no will of its own, only having just enough of a mind to receive and execute a command. No mind to think and no will to break.
Porygon 2: After receiving an Up-grade, Porygon has gained intelligence and emotions. While still having no signs of life such as a heartbeat, it is now more than the mindless tool it started as.
Porygon Z: A faulty upgrade has made its way into Porygon's mind. This Pokémon is erratic and unstable in its behavior and movements. Those kept in Pokéballs seem to be tame enough. If you encounter one in the wild, however, RUN.
Fossil Pokémon (Proffesor Laventon does a good enough job, this is more of just a side note.): This Pokémon was brought back to life using futuristic technology.
• Knowing the truth behind Sinnoh (Palkia and Dialga), they find the feud between the clans frustrating and stupid for different reasons than everybody else
• When the sky turns red, I think this would cause MC to go into a full panic attack, because they know what's happening, they know how to stop it, but they don't know how to reach the lake guardians considering they're sealed off.
• Volo is surprised when they mention Giratina. He's even more surprised when they say their Giratina saved them.
• I feel like Volo's betrayal would have more or less the same impact.

Hey again, sorry I'm not posting for my lack of posts. My switch stopped working, so I had to get a new one and a myriad of information is no long readily available to me, but this popped in my mind, and I just had to write it. I might add more to this later, but at the moment I can't think of anything that doesn't pertain to the story. Anyway, I know I've said this countless times already, but it bears repeating for those who need it, feel free to use this if it inspired you in any way.

I'm thinking of making an alt account for "x reader" content. Some has made its way onto this blog, but it's very slight, and my mind has been rotting with various scenarios. I want to keep the content on this blog separate from that kind of content since I know not everyone who likes this blog would like it. Also, sorry I've been absent, I've been spending time at a family member's place for the holidays and family is it's own type of chaos.

Sagau: A god's closure + world building
World building, possibly, it's here if I need it
Characters: Hu Tao
Tumblr media
This came about from a journey to the "border" with Hu Tao. As an immortal being who grew up as a mortal, your own mortality, or lack thereof, began to weigh on you. When you finally reached your destination, you and Hu Tao were surprised to find a massive gate where you distinctly remember there wasn't one, and in front of it stood a hulking being which resembled an Anubis.
"Anubis": Ah, your grace. To what does this watcher of souls owe your visit? Ah, but forgive me, your memory is not fully intact, so I imagine you must have many questions.
Warden: I am a being known as a "Warden" as I am a protector of the kind and good willed souls that pass through here, while making sure the evil spirits remain trapped in their prison. This gate you see is the gate to the after life. You may note that it was not here upon your last visit, both it and I were revealed by your desire and divine power. Now may I ask, what is your desire?
You shake yourself from your shocked state and state the purpose of your journey.
(Y/N): I-I wish to know, can I visit my friends once they're "gone"? I may be immortal, but I was raised as a mortal, so bonds come to me much easier than they do the archons and other immortal beings.
Warden: I see. Well, to answer your question, yes, you may visit the afterlife whenever you like .
You breathe a sigh of relief as the weight that had been on you the entire journey here finally lifted.
Hu Tao: Oooh, hey, big fella, would you mind describing the afterlife a bit? I'm just "dying" to know more about it.
(Y/N): I'm also rather curious.
Warden: Very well. The afterlife has gone by many names, you may choose to call it whichever you like, but it serves as both paradise and prison. You may recall I said I am "a" warden, there many more of my kin beyond this gate. This place was made by you in your past life to be a paradise to all, and that meant making it a prison for others, and I must say your past self understood mortals well, as there are many aspects to this ever expanding plane. First, I should explain that this gate's destination changes depending on your soul. Good and neutral souls enter a serenity inducing room where servants attempt to lift the weight of their past life, and just beside that is a therapy center as some spirits are more tormented than others. Meanwhile, evil souls are brought straight to the prison, where they are kept until further notice.
(Y/N): Sorry to interrupt, but what is a neutral soul?
Warden: Hmm. I suppose you would say they are those who mind their business, or perhaps they are broken souls who could have done more if life had provided better circumstances. In short, while these souls are not "good" by some standards, they hold no malice within then. Thus, they are neutral. Pranksters, such as your guide here, are also labeled under this category, while good at heart, they are still trouble makers disturbing the peace and thus require disciplinary action should their pranks get out of hand.
You nod and smile in acceptance to this answer, feeling relieved for all of the broken people you've heard of. Hu Tao kind of huffed as if she thought he was describing her.
Warden: On the note of broken souls, there is also a rehabilitation wing of the prison per your command. In your words, "Evil is a disease. Those who are born with it may be beyond saving, but those infected by it are curable with proper treatment." So far, these words have proven true. Many a Rotten soul has been cleansed of malice and given freedom from their torment. Speaking of the prison, the only other thing of note is that it is ever changing in size to house the ever changing number of inmates, but this is true of all aspects of this realm. Now, onto the more pleasant aspects of the afterlife. As stated before, your past self understood mortals well and constructed many districts, with the souls making new ones with each generation. The first is the obvious housing district where the souls live or rather have more personal family time as, if you wish to be technical, no one "lives" here.
You and Hu Tao chuckle a little at his little joke.
Warden: Second, there are the working districts as, surprisingly, many souls find satisfaction in hard work. These souls do jobs such as farming, cooking, many different types of artistry, engineering, construction, smithing, and sales despite there not being a currency here. These districts include the market, the entertainment district where concerts and plays are held, the foundry where all metal is worked into a new shape where it is promptly sent to either the workshop where it is used as machine parts, or the ones made into weapons will be sent to the coloseum where the souls who yearn for battle can relive their glory and have crowds of adoring fans cheer them on for it, and then there are the self explanatory farmlands and restaurants.
(Y/N): That's, um, a lot.
Warden: Quite, and there's still more. There are also the springs and gardens for those seeking a moment of peace, the banquet hall often used by the warrior spirits after a thrilling match as they revel in each other's glory, then there is the central plaza which the souls have taken to calling Festival Street as all of the realms festivities are held there, the archives where those who seek to learn can go to hone their craft. Also, since many people seem to ask, yes, the souls of animals are sent to paradise as, while a lot of animals do kill, it is most often during a hunt or defense, and they are not all malicious. Pets will often wait outside this gate for their owner or one of them if they had multiple, wild and farm animals are led to separate biomes that are suited to them. These biomes are also popular spots to take a trip. Ahem, sorry, I'm just so used to being interrupted by that question that going so long without answering it felt weird. Anyway, back on topic, there is also the museum, along with the archives it is used to preserve the truth of this world's history, not the glorified mess they teach in schools. There are many more human desires that I can list districts and buildings for, but I feel you and your friend would like to make it home before the end of the season, so this will be the last of what I say provided you don't have anymore questions. It may not surprise you that many of the souls within this realm are quite religious, so much so that there is a statue of you, er, your former self in the central plaza, with many smaller shrines to you and other deities scattered throughout the numerous districts.
Hu Tao thanks the warden before turning to leave.
(Y/N): Just one more question, I promise this will be quick. As I've stated before, immotality can be costly on one's soul. This holds true even to those born with it. My question is, would I be able to give others the ability to visit?
Warden: If that is what you desire. I take it this means I will be seeing a few of the archons soon?
You nod and thank him for his time before finally leaving with an extra spring in your step. Once outside, Hu Tao stretches rather loudly.
Hu Tao: Mmmmh. Man, that took forever, but I think we both got something out of that. You got peace of mind and i got a new appreciation for my work.
(Y/N): A "new" appreciation? You enjoyed your work well enough before, I dread to think of what you'll do now.
Hu Tao: Oh you. Don't some archons to visit?
(Y/N): Maybe later, we were in there for quite a while, and all that listening made me rather hungry.
Hu Tao was about to comment before her stomach growled, causing you both to laugh as you made your way back to the harbor.
___________________________________________
Well, that was a massive info dump, definitely longer than I anticipated. I haven't seen anyone tackle the subject of the reader's lack of mortality, and the idea of a creator who can willingly traverse both the realms of living and dead has been rotting my brain, I also wanted the ability to give the archons a bit of closure, at least the ones who lost someone dear to them. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that rather lengthy info dump

Chapter 3: Meeting
*= thoughts
Tumblr media
You were about to descend the Lake Tower when a blue light entered your vision, and when it faded, Princess Zelda stood in its place. As the two of you met eyes, you see realization strike her as her eyes widen and she let's out a shriek.
Zelda: WHAT HAPPENED!? WHERE AM I !? WHERE ARE IMPA AND LINK!? WHA-
(Y/N): CAN YOU CALM YOURSELF!? (Deep breath) I'm trying to figure all of that out.
You pretend to be more puzzled than you are, observing the tower's terminal before turning back to Zelda.
(Y/N): Pardon my asking, but you wouldn't happen to be in possession of a sheikah slate, would you?
Zelda: Yes, but...
(Y/N): May I see it, just the map, mind you. I have no need to hold it, I just need to confirm something.
Zelda, confused, shows you her sheikah slate. Just as you thought, every tower you activated was highlighted on Zelda's map as well.
(Y/N): Intriguing, it seems these mechanisms, rather than upload data directly, transmit said data through signals in the air, meaning if one slate activates a tower, all slates are updated.
Zelda, confused about a great deal more than when she arrived, finally speaks up.
Zelda: Wait. Are you saying you have a sheikah slate as well?
(Y/N): I do indeed, and I now know how you got here. The slates have a warp functionality, I discovered it on accident myself, but it is quite easy to make use of once you know of it. Now, if you could show me on the map where your friends are, I might be able to take you back to the nearest activated warp zone.
Zelda: We were coming back from Hateno and...
(Y/N): Oh, hmm. Well, I'm sorry to say I haven't activated anything near Hateno. It seems you'll simply have to meet them at your destination. Of course, it's dangerous to go alone in such times, so if you wish for me to accompany you, I shall.
Zelda: That would be much appreciated, and I would hope you can share more of what you've learned of the slates' functions.
As you and Zelda descend the tower, you see a group of familiar faces.
(Y/N): *Oh no.*
Zelda: Ah, hello there. Who might you be.
Kaveh: We are members of a foreign research organization and academy known as the Akademiya, and...
Wander: We're here to find someone.
Kaveh: Could you at least let me finish introductions?
Wanderer: You were taking too long, and this is urgent.
(Y/N): I don't know what you're talking about, but if you're looking for someone, then it's possible we share the same destination. Come, we can walk and talk.
Kaveh: But, I was hoping to study this structure, it's different from the one we passed.
(Y/N): You won't learn anything from it, not that we haven't already learned. Today has been quite eventful.
Wanderer: Where is it you're even going?
Zelda: Hyrule Castle Town, if you're looking for someone, if they're in Hyrule, someone there will definitely know something.
Dehya: Lead the way then.
Faruzan: And whilst we are traveling together, perhaps you could teach me this kingdom's written language? It would help greatly if we were able to read anything here.
Zelda: (chuckle) Of course . *That hat guy seems rather strict, but none of them seem like bad people.* Well, shall we get going?
With that, you and your new companions make your way to Central Hyrule.

I'm sorry I've been silent again, I still need some time to get the ball rolling again. Other chapters may take some time to come out as my phone's keyboard is rather frustrating, and that might burn away what motivation I have at the time. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Until next time.

Sagau x SMT
Hi, sorry for being so absent. My anxiety meds lost their effect and I only got my increased dose prescribed a few days ago. I also picked up a copy of SMTV the same day and I have been HOOKED. So now that I'm able to function again, I thought I'd write something. SMTV is the only SMT game I've played, so i may get some things wrong if i go too much into details, and rather than be another fanfiction, this will be more of a storyboard. (I've already got two other fanfics I need to work on) Anyway, sorry this got a bit long, but I hope you enjoy.
CW: Reader, (Y/N), and you used interchangeably at the start
Tumblr media
• There are many ways you could write this, but I find the one that works best for me is in the form of a reverse isekai.
• The characters that appear vary slightly depending on the reader's age and academic advancement. For example, if reader is in high school, Xingqiu may be brought along to help them get close to you. If (Y/N) is in college, it would be someone older like Kaveh. Regardless, the characters that would appear are Xiao for obvious reasons, Faruzan, because they at least gathered that your written language was different from theirs, a few archons of your choice, and Childe, sent by the Tsaritsa as he was the first, and only depending on your progress, Fatui member to earn their creator's blessing. There were supposed to be a few more, but I couldn't think of any at the time of writing this.
• The characters who are looking for you do their best to blend in while doing so, only speeking when prompted, while the others all take part-time jobs so they can afford any resources necessary to find you, and to make sure they aren't living on the streets.
• The crossover starts in the same way regardless. You and a character are walking home when you come across a crowd of people blocking the path. It seems transit had been delayed, so you decide to find a detour, and on a secluded road when the two of you are alone, a crack in reality forms before bursting open to form a portal.
• You felt uneasy, but before instincts could take over, a swarm of monsters came through and dragged the two of you through, the shock of it all causing you to pass out, and when you wake up the first thing you see is Xiao.
• The portal had long since closed as Xiao was preoccupied with your safety. He explains all of this before dropping two swords to the ground, whether it's the choice weapon of you or the character doesn't matter, the weapon he brought for you needed to be light or it would have only served to slow him down.
• From here, your elemental powers awaken slowly and in their weakest form as you strike down the first few daemons with zio.
• The way you recruit demons works more like catching pokemon. Walking through this strange world, you were ambushed by a pixie. You instinctually held out your hands to shield yourself, only to let loose a spell. When you opened your eyes, the pixie was still there, and Xiao was confused as the demonic energy had completely vanished from this being. You purified Pixie.
• After exploring this land a fair bit, you spotted a group of angels being attacked by a powerful demon, and you decide to help them out. After the battle, the angels expressed surprise at the sight of a group of purified demons, and they requested, almost demanded, you speak with their superior.
• After your demons grew enough in power, they were able to make their own portals to and from that world.
I think I'll leave it here, while I definitely would like to write more on this, this was also an exercise to get my brain back into the writing mindset after not being able to for so long. I also have two other fanfictions that I should focus on first, as stated above. I might write more on this as those come closer to ending, but if any writers want to use this, feel free

Pokémon brainrot
This has been plaguing my mind, and I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore
_________________________________________
So, we all know how you can transfer your Pokémon to the next generations, but I haven't seen anything about this in writings, and if they do, they don't make clear the absolute absurdity of it. Using the current generation as an example, Arven and Nemona decide to visit you, and you're just casually scrubbing the rubble from Groudon. Nemona would be focused solely on that if it weren't for the Pokémon with FIVE Champion ribbons. Penny learns this information as well, thanks to her hacking, but you don't get to see her reaction as it's behind a screen.

Chapter 2: Prelude
Tumblr media
Two weeks later, all of the search parties sent to Hyrule had landed ashore. There is really only one shore in Hyrule, but having arrived at different times, none of them had run into each other, and several, for one reason or another, had split up. Itto and Shinobu evading capture for stowing away, Bennett, Fischl, and the adventerers decide to, well adventure, and Xiao is the lone wolf type. The Sumeru Akademiya were the last to arrive at Lurelin Village.
Meanwhile, you were sitting under a tree near the Dueling Peaks thinking.
(Y/N): It's obvious this is Hyrule before the calamity. The question is, which one?
Looking at your sheikah slate, as if it would give you an answer, you sigh. You get up, gather your things, and begin heading towards the Great Plateau. Never having seen it before the calamity, you could only hope it was open to the public, as while housing the temple of time, the walls surrounding it suggest it to be similar to a fortress.
Unknown to you, a battle was unfolding near Hyrule Castle Town, where a blond knight finds a small pale guardian. Given the large monster force, most soldiers were called back to the town to protect it, meaning if there were any at the plateau, they weren't anymore. You make your way inside and find where the tower would be, only it wasn't uncovered. Without any mining gear, you were about to cut your losses when the ground started to shake, and the tower burst from the ground. Thinking quickly, you decide to grab the side of the tower, taking shelter from the falling rocks beneath one of its ledges. Once the tower comes to a halt, you calm yourself from the heart attack you had from nearly being crushed, then start climbing. These towers were a lot easier to climb than the games suggested. Their walls' design resembling that of a ladder.
You reach the top and slide your slate in the slot, confirm that the map has been added, take it back, and climb down. You then go through the process of downloading the runes onto the slate. When you're finished, you decide to "take some notes" so you can pass as a foreign researcher. You needed some kind of excuse for having a sheikah slate.
Meanwhile, a group in the southern forests of Faron was conducting actual research, which would be cut short.
Tighnari: So? Did you find anything?
Kaveh: Nothing that hints to this towers purpose.
Faruzan: There was a slot at the top, but without the corresponding piece, it's not much use.
Wanderer: Then let's go already. Correct me if I'm wrong, but our trip has an actual purpose to it.
Everyone was put off by his attitude, but couldn't say anything, as he was correct.
Back with you, you had just exited the magnesis shrine, having saved it for last, not wanting to spend too much time around sheer cliffs. You also didn't complete them, not having a use for the goddess orbs.
(Y/N): Alright, that should do it. Now, the next closest tower should be at Lake Hylia. Even if I'm not exploring every inch, having a map of the places I will be is going to be helpful.
Meanwhile, the princess and her group were returning from the Hateno Tech Lab. As they were approaching the halfway point, Zelda heard a strange noise come from her sheikah slate. Curious, she takes a look at it to find a map being updated.
Zelda: Huh? What is...
As she investigates, she realizes her location is marked by a yellow arrow and notices a second, blue arrow. As she taps the slates screen, she is greeted with a prompt. The princess was so enamored by this sudden development that she was deaf to the call of her retainer. Being too curious for her own good, she accepted the prompt and was enveloped in a blue light. When the light faded, the princess was gone, leaving her group panicked.
___________________________________________
Sorry, but this felt like this was going to drag on if I continued to where I wanted this to end, and I know it's not much given how long it took, but I still hope you enjoyed this regardless.
Also, this is a minor thing, but does anyone know why they were going through Tabantha to reach Hateno? The game specifically says Hateno, and they're traversing the Breach of Demise. It doesn't ruin the game for me. It just really bothers me.
