Just posted chapter 3 on my vampire Terzo fic.

Summary: Copia makes for a less than desirable snack, the man really needs to eat more leafy greens.

Chapter summary: Copia is feeling better, but what is he supposed to do? Where is he supposed to go?

An excerpt: They were at an impasse, Copia seemed unwilling to move and Terzo couldn’t go to fetch him. He didn’t want to startle the man by sending a ghoul in his place, but he didn’t want to sit and watch him suffer all day.

It would seem Copia was.. stuck. Unable to make a decision, head in his hands as he debated back and forth. What should he do? It should be an obvious answer. He should run away from the terrifying monster, right? … right? Every last trace of self preservation told him to book it down the hillside and back into town, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Terzo wasn’t a terrifying monster.. he was kind and gentle. A bit forward, perhaps, but kind nonetheless.

Was this a trap? Was it all to create a false sense of security? Perhaps the venom still lingered, fogging his judgment. He felt fine.. but could he know for certain?

Chapter Summary: Venom is a powerful thing, and Copia deserves a good meal. But what will Terzo’s brothers think of their new guest?

A snippet for you all:

“You were stupid enough to bring back a human? Here?” Primo snapped, a scowl set in his face. “You realize we can’t let him go back, yes? We don’t need an angry mob at our door, not again. Not after last time, lord below, I cannot stand you two. Must I do everything around here?”

That earned a groan from Terzo, his head falling back in a dramatic sigh, ever the youngest sibling. “Shut up. Both of you. I know what I’m doing, I don’t need to hear it from either of you.”

Copia was sunk into the armchair watching the argument transpire, languidly popping grapes into his mouth. This had to be a dream.

(Would love the return of Terzo, or a Ghoul to comfort Copia)

The tour had gotten to him. He understood the importance of the band, of their work, spreading the message, inspiring new converts… but it had taken its toll on the old cardinal. The voices grew worse, their source he did not know, loud and ringing in his ears, following him every step he took, every lyric he sang, the voices persisted. Of course, he would never admit to such troubles, as the new Papa, he had an appearance to maintain, a clergy to run, a faith to uphold.

This did not stop the relief of finally returning home, he dismissed the ghouls and went off to check on his rats, to determine the sisters left behind took the upmost care of them. Their work was passable, and once he was content, he finally allowed himself a moment of free time. He wandered through the familiar halls, hands clasped behind his back, face flat as he once more ignored the buzzing voices haunting the back of his mind. He found himself once more standing in the only place within the abbey he found some sort of peace. Copia knelt in front of the altars left for Terzo, head bowed in reverence. It would seem you never truly stop mourning, the grief never fades, but it changes as time passes. He still felt bitter about the loss of the former Papas, he felt undeserving of his role, unfit to carry on this legacy, a failure when compared to the others. Oh, what he would give to have them back.

oh i just had a fucking revelation about the ghoul outfits

so. meliora and prequelle era ghouls are very butler-esque. the spats, the neat button downed cassocks of meliora and well-fitted suits of prequelle giving more of a “fashion and form” look, along with the appealing and fluid, attractively-featured chrome masks. it really drives the point that the ghouls are nameless and faceless, simply hired minions. they’re servants- they do the menial work. (in this case in the lore, menial = being hired help for the band and possibly servants for the abbey)

even in the older eras of infestissumam and opus eponymous, the ghouls outfits are monk-like in nature;

which is telling us, again, that the ghouls are uniform because they’re meant to be, its their role to blend into the background.

but all of a sudden, cardinal copia becomes a candidate for reign. he keeps the prequelle look as his time as cardinal because he’s not papa yet, it’s not his place to make drastic changes.

as soon as he gains the title of papa, however-

boom.

this is not typical ghoul fashion. sure, its still fairly glitzy, (as tobias forge is wont to do,) but this is much more streamlined. military. the epaulettes, the roughed seams of the coat, the bulky, practical helmet look of the masks, even the high leather boots evoke an aura of militia garb.

group photos in the impera age dont look like an important church figurehead being surrounded by lackeys and servants. this looks like a man being guarded.

they aren’t dressed for just appearances anymore.

they’re being outfitted for war.

Hello friends!!

I’m looking to start a discord based Ghost rp! I’ve never roleplayed for this fandom so patience as I get a feel for characters is much appreciated, but I have many many years experience role playing in general! I love world building, AUs, and collaborating to form the perfect roleplay for both parties! I’m newer to the fandom so please forgive me as I’m still learning more and more lore, but I am head over heels for the band and would love to start something!

I can do either text style or third person paragraph style roleplay. I prefer to skip over nsfw scenes, I’m cool implying they happened and character intimacy, but I am on the ace spectrum and don’t personally enjoy writing long form nsfw rp. Other than that I don’t really have limits, I love angst, drama, fluff, comfort.

Hello!

I am looking for a rp inspired by this fic!

Basically my idea is the papas have been resurrected while Copia is in power as Papa Emeritus IV. (Looking for Copiiia/C3 for the rp please)

And basically we can flesh this out more, but Terzo is back, they’re together, and Terzo becomes pregnant (open to all preferences how—abo, mpreg, trans!papas) and it was foretold while he was in hell he’d bring the coming of the antichrist. They don’t realize this is actually how, ghost family hygienics ensue.

I’m totally open to brainstorming and I’m sorry this is a little scatterbrained, I just want to get my idea out there and everything I have plotted out isn’t set in stone!
