I feel like if the local high school swim teams were the equivalent of Haikyuu teams Riverside would have been Karasuno and Georgetown would have been Shiratorizawa.

if u ever think ur too passionate about something just remember that in 10th grade i wrote an email to a professor at yale cause i noticed that the poem she wrote for Obama’s inauguration had 44 lines and he was the 44th president and i asked her if she did it on purpose and she replied three months later with “no”

Olympics!AU where no one really expects much from Japan’s young volleyball team - they even lost their opening match against USA - until they start winning everything and thus turn into a huge sensation. Player #5 Hinata Shouyou knows literally one sentence in English (“I trust my setter very much!”) which he makes sure to mention at least once every press conference, and player #4 Kageyama Tobio has displayed a limited range of emotions during the entire tournament, that is until they win the gold match and it becomes obvious that Hinata always meant to say he loves his setter very much (Kageyama also cries like a baby during the medal ceremony).
