Requests: Open
Alright, so I have like a million things going on in my brain but not a single cohesive thought so I decided to open up my writing requests. Please read below before requesting!
Will Do:
Anything you can think of so long as I am knowledgeable of the topic and I am comfortable writing it. :) My favorites to write are angst, cute classic lovers tropes(enemies to lovers, strangers to lovers, etc) and AUs. I am just fine doing character x reader, just please specify the gender or else I will default to gender neutral. I will write for most ships as well, even poly if you'd like. I will write for a lot of deeper topics as well, so if that's something you're interested in, I would rather you send me a DM rather than an ask so we can discuss. If not, just be very well detailed in your ask if that makes you more comfy.
Won’t Do:
I will not write any A/B/O dynamics, I apologize since I have little to no knowledge on the specifics of it so I do not feel comfortable writing it. I won't do any 18+ content for characters who are canonically underage and I refuse to age them up for the sake of a story. I won't do any incest, age play, or any non consensual topics. Don't even ask, its rather self explanatory. I would like to keep this blog a safe place and apply trigger warnings as I see fit.
More info:
I will deny requests if I’m not comfy writing them or if I simply cannot think of anything I would be proud of writing and posting. No hard feelings, I struggle with mental health so please be patient with me :) With that, most requests will vary on time since I am very busy during the week, so I really only log on whenever I have free time. I will do my best to get your request out as soon as I can though.
Who I will write for:

Christmas Comfort
The holiday season isn't always the easiest time of year for me and many others so please enjoy this entirely self indulgent fic. Besides, what's better than having your favorite comfort character there to comfort you during this time:)
May possibly be OOC but that's okay. Happy holidays you beautiful people <3
A/N: Yes I know I am posting this after Christmas but I work the graveyard shift so I tried to get it done as quickly as I could. Enjoy~
Very little editing went into this so if there's mistakes plz ignore :D
Akutagawa x GN!Reader
Had nobody reminded you it was Christmas Eve, you would have never known. Being a mafioso came with the lovely perk of measuring time by the amount of assignments you did. Its not like you had any family or anything to celebrate with anyway.
However, Mori-san decided to do you and the other members of the port mafia a favor and call you back from any assignments you were on so you could participate in an early Christmas dinner. Fortunately for you, you were still rather close by since all you had to do was track down the whereabouts of someone who had tried to hack into the port mafia database.
You had been hidden in a nearby building that had been long abandoned, watching a rather dirty looking man pace around going back and forth between the many computer monitors he had in the messy room he currently resided in. You were given specific orders to not kill him unless he had no useful information and by the looks of it, he was just hitting dead end after dead end, not able to break through the firewalls that protected vital information.
Once you had decided that this man was no real threat, you gave yourself the okay to dispose of him.
“Ability, Devine-” you were cut short when your phone began to ring. You huffed and answered it, exiting the building and standing in front of it.
“This is Y/N.”
“Y/N-chan, I do hope you're not too busy. If you could, please come back to the base, Elise-chan and I decided our gift to you and all the others would be a nice dinner to celebrate all the hard work you all put into making sure this business of ours continues to run smoothly.”  “Not at all Mori-san, I’m just wrapping up disposing of the little virus attempt.” You answered, a small flame dancing in your gloved hand from your ability. It was starting to get cold out. “If I may though, can I ask the occasion for this gift?”
“Christmas of course! Well, its only Christmas Eve but its never too early to start celebrating.” Mori-san replied. You could hear Elise in the background saying that Mori simply mixed up the dates and his vane attempts to silence her.
You let out a sigh, your breath coming out in a puff of smoke due to the cold weather. “Christmas, huh? Alright, I will see you in about 45 minutes.” You said, trying to be heard over the commotion on the other end of the line.
“Perfect! See you then.” Mori said, hanging up the phone.
You let out another breath, this time the smoke being from your own ability. “Lets wrap this up then.” You said aloud to yourself, pocketing your phone and removing the black fingerless leather gloves you wore and storing those safely in your front coat pocket.
“Ability, Devine Punishment.” An orange glow surrounded your body and your body heat rose. “Hellflame!” You shouted, large waves of fire coming off your hands and enveloping the abandoned building the virus had currently resided in. You could hear his screams of agony and fear as he desperately tried to save himself and his useless work from the flames that danced around and on him and everything he owned. You waited a few more minutes until his screams died out, watching the building burn with the heat of your ability.
You turned your back to the burning building, the orange glow fading from your body as you got your gloves from your pocket. You let out another breath, the residual smoke from using your ability leaving your lips like a candle had just gone out. As you put your gloves on, you looked up at the cloudy sky watching fresh white snow begin to fall. You shivered, deciding to use your ability to try and warm up a little. “Merry Christmas, I suppose.” You whispered aloud, the last bit of smoke leaving your lips.
You adjusted your coat and began to make your way back to the port mafia base, wondering what got Mori-san in the mood to celebrate the holidays, much less with a bunch of people who probably didn't care for it just as much as you did.
Oh well, maybe he just wanted an excuse to eat a large dinner with everyone? Or maybe Elise wanted to do something festive? She was a child after all, and Mori couldn't exactly say no to her.
No use pondering it now, free food was free food. You wouldn't refuse it anyway.
-----------
You were among the last few to arrive, running into Chuuya on your way to the main dining hall.
“Yo, Merry Christmas Y/N.” He greeted you when he had seen you.
You simply nodded. “Same to you, Nakahara-San.”
“I already told you, now that you're not a subordinate anymore you can just use my first name. I think you're the only one who still calls me that.” He commended offhandedly, shrugging his shoulders.
“Right, old habits are hard to break I suppose.” You said, straightening your back. Even the inside of the building was cold. When you first joined the port mafia, you worked under Chuuya since both of your abilities complimented each other in a way Mori approved of since they both were very strong and took out enemies quickly. Plus, you didn't really have to rely on others for protection so it was a win win in the sense that the people who needed to get taken out were taken out and the assignments you were given were completed in a timely manner. You really were only put under Chuuya to learn the ropes of the port mafia and to refine your ability. Once you were made into an executive, you worked alongside the others and had more authority on the battlefield, even getting your own subordinates not long after.
Chuuya simply hummed in agreement, the rest of the short walk to the dining hall spent in silence.
Once the two of you arrived, you both hung your coats. You removed your gloves as well, leaving yourself in a simple black turtle neck and black dress pants and belt. You wore rather simple outfits compared to the rest of the mafia but still professional.
Everyone was sat at the large table, Mori and Elise sat at the head.
The black lizards and Kaji sat on one side while Kouyou, Akutagawa and Higuchi sat on the other side. There was an open seat next to Gin so you took that, sending her a soft smile in greeting that she returned since her mask was off. Chuuya took the empty seat near Higuchi.
“Welcome everyone! I’m so glad you all could make it today. To celebrate the holidays, I thought it would be nice to gather you all together and treat you to dinner.” Mori began, standing tall with a kind smile on his face. He snapped his fingers, subordinates coming in rolling a couple carts of food and arranging them in the center of the table. It ranged from traditional Japanese food to heavenly smelling desserts. There were even a few ice buckets with wine and champagne along with non alcoholic drinks that followed suit. To say you were impressed was an understatement.
“Lets dig in, shall we?” Mori said, taking his seat as the other subordinates exited the room. Soon, the room was filled with lively chatter, almost as if this was a family dinner and not a bunch of serial killers gathered around.
Maybe serial killers was a stretch. Killers with no mercy? That was just a mouthful.
Soon, you had a full plate of delicious food, a glass of champagne and a cup of water. You exchanged pleasentries with Gin as you ate, talking with others here and there as well if spoken to. You watched as Higuchi tried to get Akutagawa to expand his rather small pallet, having smaller portions compared to the others. You hadn't gotten many oppertunities to work with the sickly man but you saw him quite often due to being a bit closer to his sister. You knew he was very formidable on the battle field as well and found him almost intriguing in an odd yet mysterious way. Gin knew of your interest in her brother, yet you didn't know if she knew the extent it went to.
“-san. Y/N-san? Are you listening?” You snapped back to reality, coughing a bit since you had swallowed the water you were drinking wrong.
“Sorry, what was that?” You asked once you had regained your composure.
“Oh nothing, I was just wondering if you were alright. You seem spacey today. More so than usual.” Gin commended, refilling her wine glass. Was she even old enough to drink? Oh well, you weren't either technically, being just a year shy of the legal drinking age. Not that it mattered, you did just burn down a police training facility a couple weeks ago so its not like you cared much for law.
“Yes, I’m alright. I suppose I’m not use to celebrating the holidays.” You said. It wasn’t a complete lie, holidays were a bit of a foreign subject for you and you had mixed feelings about it seeing as, from what you knew at least, these times were to be spent with family surrounded by gifts and warmth and a decorated tree.
“I understand. I feel the same,” Gin replied, setting her utensils down and sending you a soft smile. “But, I still think this is nice, don't you?” She said.
You nodded in response, taking a sip from your champagne. “It’s lovely.”  The rest of the dinner consisted of filling your bellies to your hearts content and Chuuya, Mori and Kouyou having a bit too much to drink and getting cut off. Seriously, where did the sake come from? Oh well, at least it was entertaining watching Chuuya put his hat on Akutagawa while trying to get him to drink sake with him.
You didn't notice it really, being in your own world the majority of the night, but Akutagawa would steal glances at you, even feeling his own heart begin to race once he realized you had been occasionally doing the same. Thankfully, he wasn't caught but you couldn't say the same.
Once dinner was over, some subordinates came to help Mori and Kouyou to their rooms while another called Chuuya a taxi home.
You gathered your coat and gloves and bid farewell to everyone, venturing out into the cold yet again. It was dark out now, the sky still cloudy and fresh snow still falling. You didn't mind though, your ability kept you warm enough. There was a chill within you but you did your best to ignore it and just raised your body temperature in response
You didn't go home straight away, deciding to walk around the near dead city. Most stores were closed and not many people were out so it was very peaceful, almost like time stopped moving and you were the only one still going.
You didn't know how long you had been walking, but you ended up at a park that overlooked a large lake. You took a seat on the iron bench, heating it up a bit with your ability so it wasn't freezing cold metal.
You sat alone with your thoughts for a little while. For some reason, the thought of the holidays just couldn't leave your mind. You couldn't remember the last time the holidays were something of importance to you, if they even were at all. Yet, you felt a sort of emptiness in your chest, a longing of some kind that you couldn't quite understand. The people in the port mafia were as close to a family as you could get, yet still you longed for something. You longed for a warmth that seemed unattainable despite your fire type ability.
You didn't realize how long you sat there, holding your heated hands at your chest to try and get rid of that cold feeling, snow gathering in your hair only to melt off shortly after.
You flinched hard when you felt a hand touch your shoulder, body heat quickly rising at what you assumed was a threat.
However, it was only Akutagawa wrapped in his signature coat and what looked like a new scarf and matching gloves added. Luckily he had pulled back in time to avoid getting burned. He didn't look fazed though, putting his gloved hands in his pockets. “Don’t you know how cold it is right now?” He simply said, looking down at you from where he stood.
You let out a breath, letting your body heat fall back to a not burning temperature and releasing a puff of smoke from your lips. “Not really.” You answered honestly, scooting over a little incase he wanted to sit. Luckily, you had heated the bench a decent amount so it didn't bother him.
Akutagawa took the silent invitation and sat next to you, only a few inches between you both. “Figured, I could feel the heat from here.” He commented, tucking his chin in the fabric of his scarf. It looked warm.
You weren't sure of what to say so you stood silent, leaning your head back and feeling the snowflakes fall on your face and melt off a few seconds later.
You didn't realize it, but Akutagawa had been watching you, realizing what his sister meant when she said you hadn't been quite there mentally. After all, you very well could have easily knew he was there well before he had to reach out and bring you back to reality. He let out a small huff, the small box in his pocket feeling like it was taking up too much room.
“The holidays are such a silly time of the year,” He began, continuing on when he realized you turned your head so he knew you were paying attention. “Wishing on an imaginary fat man to bring you gifts, decorating a tree with pines that just get everywhere, and annoying flashing lights. It sounds like such a headache.” Akutagawa finished, his brow slightly furrowed.
“I suppose,” You responded, sitting up straight and looking over at the lake that was slowly freezing over. “But, there's beauty there too. Spending time with loved ones, surrounded by gifts and laughter, the feeling of warmth. I think it sounds lovely, don't you think so, Akutagawa-san?” You finished, looking over at the man next to you with a soft smile that didn't quite reach your eyes.
He took a second to respond, the lower half of his face still covered by the scarf that looked so so warm and cozy. “Have you ever celebrated the holidays like how you describe?” He asked, almost certain he knew the answer already.
You shook your head in response, a simple “No.” To be honest, you never really had time to do all of that. Being exposed to such a life at an early age that eventually led you to the violence of the port mafia, the holiday season was at the bottom of your priorities list. That didn't stop you from wishing the person you occasionally saw on the tv that celebrated with a large festive dinner surrounded by family and friends was you though. It was a life that was neither here nor there, yet no matter how many times you told yourself it was alright and that the life you led now was fulfilling enough, the cold and empty feeling never left you, even if you were surrounded in the burning flames of your ability, emitting the hottest flames you could manage, it still remained in the center of your chest. You didn't realize it, but you had wrapped your hands up and brought them to your chest again. “I’m cold. It’s so cold out here right now, Akutagawa-san.” You said, your voice soft. Even though you were using your ability to avoid freezing, you could only feel the chill from deep within your chest, it felt like it had engraved into your bones.
Akutagawa could only watch. Cold? He could still feel the small waves of heat coming off of you due to the proximity he sat. How were you cold? He didn't really understand yet a small part of his brain said he did. After all, he did leave his well heated apartment to venture out in the streets he didn't even know for certain you were roaming. He just couldn't get the empty look you had in your eyes when leaving the dinner out of his head. It was the same look that you currently wore, it didn't suit you at all and he didn't like it. It was silly, stupid even that he was thinking like this. Maybe this time of year had made him weaker, hence why he decided to do something as foolish as to find his co worker daydreaming in freezing cold weather in the middle of an empty park. To say you interested him was an understatement if he was being honest with himself.
“Don’t be stupid,” Akutagawa said, knocking you back to reality yet again. Based on what he was going to do, he could only blame the holidays for making him weak and sentimental like this. He took his gloved hands out of his pockets and reached out to take yours, wrapping his around your slightly smaller ones. He had light pink dusting his cheeks that was rather hard to see in the darkness of the park and the way his scarf covered him, yet you could kind of see it since you were looking with wide glassy eyes at his face, studying the dark grey of his eyes and the way his features looked much better now that you were close to him. “You of all people have no reason to be cold, not with that ability of yours.” He said, raising his icy eyes up to look deep into yours.
You didn't know what possessed you, but you lunged forward and wrapped your arms around his thin yet lean frame, your head resting on his chest, feeling his heartbeat on your cheek. “Right, how foolish of me.” You said, not letting go despite feeling him freeze up. You felt a tight pressure in your throat, almost like a ball had decided to lodge itself there. You didn't cry though, there was no reason to.
After almost a full minute, you felt Akutagawa relax a bit, resting his arms over your back to return the sudden hug. It was honestly a miracle he didn't use Rashoumon to immediately decapitate you.
You both sat in silence for a while, the embrace comforting for the time being.
You felt Akutagawa shift a bit, knowing he had lifted his sleeve a bit to look at his watch. “00:02, its Christmas Day now.” He said out loud. You only hummed in response, already missing the warmth when he had pulled back.
You tucked your hands in your lap, using your ability to warm up a bit to no avail.
“Its tradition to exchange gifts on this day.” Akutagawa said, causing you to look up at his face that was currently looking anywhere but you despite his body still facing yours. “I’ve never done this before, but Chuuya-san and Gin said it would be a good idea. Even if it is pretty ridiculous.” He said, pulling out a small rectangular box tied with a small white bow.
You gasped, a hand coming up to cover your lips. “Merry Christmas, Y/N.” He said, finally looking you in the eyes. He had moved the scarf down a bit so you could fully see his face, flushed cheeks and all.
“Akutagawa-san..” You said, feeling the lump return to your throat. “I didn't get you anything.” You said, looking him a bit remorsefully in the eyes. He blinked in response, turning his head to cough in his hand.
“It doesn't matter, just take it.” He said, holding the box toward you.
You accepted it, holding it gently in your slightly shaky hands. The tag on the bow read, “To: Y/N From: Ryuu” in neat handwriting.
“My full name didn't exactly fit on the tag.” He said once he realized you had paused to read it. All you did was smile, a genuine smile, in response. Carefully, you undid the bow, watching as it fell into your lap while Akutagawa watched, hoping you would hurry up already.
Once you removed the lid of the box, another gasp left you as you examined the silver chain. It was a rather simple necklace yet to you it meant the world. “It’s beautiful.” You said, a little breathless as you released it from the velvet holder. “Thank you so much, Ryuu.” You said, sending him a smile that reached your glassy eyes.
Akutagawa could have swore his pathetic little heart skipped a beat knowing that smile was for him and hearing you say his first name so casually yet genuinely. His face gathered a deeper scarlet color that he swore was from the blistering cold.
He turned his head to cough again, a vane attempt to hide it. “It’s nothing, really.” All you did was shake your head in response. Getting a gift from someone you admired and thought so highly of meant the world to you. You felt your own cheeks flush yet you did nothing to hide it. “Help me put it on?” You asked, undoing the clasp and handing the necklace to him. He only nodded, making sure not to get it caught in your hair and adjusting it so it laid perfectly.
“It suits you.” Akutagawa said, the faintest of smiles on his face once you had turned to face him again.
You kept your head down, the cold chain being held gently between your finger tips as you admired it.
Akutagawa scooted closer to you, close enough that your thighs touched. You felt your face heat up again, looking over to see him already looking at you. Had he always been this pretty up close? Long lashes brushed his cheeks every time he blinked, the soft pink on his pale face. He looked like a painting, his sharp features looking so handsome up close. “R-Ryuu...san?” You breathed out, your breath coming out in puffs since you had discarded your ability to touch the jewelry, too afraid of damaging it.
“Maybe this holiday isn't so stupid after all.” Was all Akutagawa said, leaning over to plant a kiss on your forehead, his gloved hands moving your hair out of the way. You could have swore with the amount of heat coming off your body, you certainly were using your ability yet you weren't, you made sure of it, even double checking.
All you could do was look up at his sharp features, his eyes soft as he looked at your face.
You smiled, wide enough that the corner of your eyes crinkled, your heart feeling so full. You leaned over, wrapping your arms around his shoulders now, feeling him return it instantly this time with his arms wrapping around your waist. “Merry Christmas, Ryuu.” You said, just loud enough for him to hear. He shivered a bit with your breath against his ear.
“As nice as this is, it’s freezing.” Akutagawa deadpanned, pulling back just enough to look into your beautiful eyes. “Shall we go inside?” He asked. You nodded in response, standing up and dusting off the snow that gathered on you. Akutagawa did the same. “My apartment isn't far,” You began, looking over at Akutagawa who looked pretty uncomfortable in the cold. “We can go there and I can make you some tea.”
Akutagawa nodded, “Sounds lovely.” He said, extending his hand to you. You shook your head and went over to his side, linking your arm around one of his. He was confused until he felt the heat radiating off of you, doing a great job at warming him up. It helped a lot having someone who was basically a human heater pressed up against you to block out the cold. “Shall we go?” You asked, feeling the shivers die down from the man besides you.
“Lead the way.” He simply said as you both walked off in the direction of your apartment.
The cold empty feeling you felt in your heart began to disappear the more you walked, your hold on Akutagawa tightening slightly. The light weight of the necklace around your neck was a reminder to you. Though things will never be perfect, that doesn't mean you still can't find fulfillment or joy in this life. This feeling of warmth was something you would cherish and guard with your life.
---------
Bonus:
Akutagawa and you were now situated in your apartment, a steaming cup of tea sat in both of your hands as an old record player played calming music.
“By the way, Ryuu?” You said, setting the tea cup down on the little dish you felt in your other hand.
He hummed in response, looking over at you over the rim of his own cup.
“Where did you get the scarf and gloves? I don't recall seeing you wear any before.” You mentioned,
“Gin got them for me. It was her idea actually do do a gift exchange this year. She said she and the other black lizards were doing something similar and wanted to include me. I got her a dress she had been eyeing for a while and she got me those.” He said, a soft smile on his face. Coming from the slums, he was lucky if the rags he and his sister wore weren't moldy and disgusting. Going from that to being able to buy his sister a beautiful dress from a higher end boutique really meant a lot for him.
“That’s so sweet of you.” You said, somehow gaining more admiration for the man in front of you. “You really are such a sweetheart.” You said, causing him to blush bright red. The lights in your apartment did little to hid it this time.
“Shut up, any brother would do it.” Akutagawa said, using his teacup to hide the scarlet brushing his cheeks.
“Maybe so. I still stand by what I say though, sweetheart.” You said, teasing him a little with the nickname. You pressed your body against his, your head resting against his shoulder. Despite the insult he threw at you, you knew it held no real venom since he had wrapped his arm around your shoulders and settled into your touch.
Despite your distaste for the holidays, this year definitely changed your mind. This feeling of warmth was something you could find yourself getting used to.
