PSA: make sure to give your Imperial Fists the right yellow color, or you might be in for a surprise.
Space marine chapters and their colors are just the hanky code for guys who think they are straight.
#why does the hanky code have so many yellow code colors that mean very different things#shitpost#warhammer 40k#warhammer 40000

Vulture flag
Vultures are queer men who are thin, bald and are at least middle aged.
The flag colors represent the skin and marking colors of diverse vulture species . They were chosen to look muddy and a bit disjointed as the looks of a Vulture might make it hard to fit in.
Like the bird, Vultures might be misunderstood as intimidating or scary. Just like the vulture bird is used in pop culture to indicate death, decay and that something sinister is going on, the way a Vulture looks is often used in the portrayal of evil or morally ambiguous characters.
(I am the person who send in the ask, I just automatically put it on anonymous).
[Flag description: the flag mirrors the design of the bear flag; it features seven horizontal stripes in the colors white, light blue, mustard yellow, orange, light mud brown, desaturated berry and a greenish gray. In the upper left corner is the silhouette of the tracks of a turkey vulture.]
The diverse bear flags you posted very fondly reminded me of my former boyfriend calling himself a vulture. He was bald and thin and, as some people 'delicately' put it, 'unconventionally attractive'.
Also made me realise how there is no word for older/not youthful or cute looking thin guys.
(This is in no way supposed to derail the appreaction of bears; if it is, please ignore the ask)
oh thats a fun descriptor!
bald guys need appreciation too, especially bald queer guys

Does he want them or does he want to be one, considering he is the one who might quite literally put skulls on posts?

The only time I have seen this trope well executed was in an indie novel and it only worked well as a plot twist because the main point wasn't 'oooh, they are gay'. Instead, one of the other characters who you probably had been rooting for up to that point turned out to be a complete asshole.
sad to say that once again I got into another mystery only for the big reveal to be that someone was queer

Yeah, it's my and Protea's birthday today!
But more importantly, on this day, 31 years ago, paragraph 175, that made male homosexuality and bisexuality a criminal offense in Germany, was removed.
I do not really celebrate my own birthday, but I am glad that it is always a reminder of that important day in german queer history and I will always celebrate that!

"The palms of the surviving neophytes are opened and a seed of the shatterbark-plant implanted into each of them. Within their bodies, it grows, underneath their skin, its neurotoxin branding their bodies with eternal marks. Inside a psyker, the plant grows abnormally fast, in wild spiral patterns, often killing its host. Those who survive become the Glade Slivers librarians. With the implant of the black carapace, the plant is removed, only the deep scars on the skin surface remaining. Many librarians stain these scars and the surrounding skin in the color of their great family."

Sorry for spamming, but the previous face did not look like I wanted it to; the Space Marine was supposed to look like the old portrayals of cheerful/friendly monks, thus the bulbous nose.
Both are OCs, the Space Marine belonging to a new homebrew (quite literally in this case) chapter.

Just a quick reminder that, should you sell flag themed pride merch this june and do not include the intersex flag, I will buy nothing from you. Jack shit. Zero.
Same goes should you include the lesbian flag but somehow 'forget' the flag for gay men/'toothpaste flag'.
Or have not a single ace/aro flag.

I kinda want to share more wholesome family stories, because I genuinely love my family so much but I am worried it will annoy those who follow me.
I guess I could create a tag so people can block it.
Also weird having these stories wedged between space marine man tits.
Like, the portrait of my grandfather has been sittinge between Marneus Calgar's massive pecs since months. Not that it really bothers me, or my grandpa (the man was a boxer and probably got to see some man boobs in his life), but it makes me laugh every time because the portrait looks so...smug?

So, I finally have started to set up a miraheze wiki. If you have a bald or balding character you want featured, you may comment their name!
Some artists on this website really just slap hair on a bald character and go "I made them look better :)".
No, you didn't. Bald people are hot. Bald men, bald women, bald nonbinary people, everyone.
Being bald does not make one objectively unattractive or "ugly."
Having bald spots, a receding hairline, or thin hair does not make one "ugly" or objectively unattractive.
It also does not make one more aggressive. There are only a few visual tropes that I hate more than the "Bald of Evil" trope.

At this point I am equally annoyed at the booktok 'keep your books pristine and pure' people and the tumblr "who cares, its just a bundle of paper anyway" kneejerk reaction to that.
Good for you, that it is only a bundle of paper to you, but I grew up seeing owning books as a privilege. Did my books have small tears and dog ears? Absolutely. But I never in my life had a book with a broken spine or torn pages. Because I valued that bundle of papers and I wanted to keep it for a long time without losing parts of it.
"But it is mass produced"- doesn't matter if you are not able to afford a new one. I had to save up to five months to be able to afford a book.
In general, stop judging people for what objects they value and how they treat what they value.
A used book is like an old person. It is ok and even beautiful to see their age, but it hurts to see if they have been mistreated.
