About 2 years ago I painted my rendition of Kludd from Guardians of Ga’Hoole. 

I wanted to redo that design, however, as I had a new idea for Kludd. Instead of having dark feathers looking more like a female barn owl’s, I decided to play into a male’s lighter feathers. Keeping the top of his head dark, I made the rest of him near white with color patches to “stain” his “pure” feathers.  I used blood designs like the movie did because damn I liked that concept a lot. Anyway, here is my new Metal Beak design! I plan on doing more Ga’Hoole owls in the future.

You know what Ga'hoole needs? More art. I haven't seen a project like this for these books so why not make one.
