So, I know you probably get these comments/asks all the time but LIAB really is a masterful work of art! Fanfic or otherwise I don't think I've ever read a story (especially not one this long) that's kept me invested in each and every character through every twist and turn! I mean really even if I don't necessarily agree or like them I can sympathize with where everyone is coming from and it's just all so in character and flows so naturally & I know that can't be easy to do I could ramble on and on about this but wow thank you for sharing your writing! I look forward to every update it makes my day!

Even if I got comments like this every single day (which I don’t) it wouldn’t make receiving them any less special! i really strive to write characters that were unlikable but understandable, so I’m glad you appreciated the effort I put in! I enjoy writing the story so much even if the characters make it infuriating sometimes haha! (Looking at you zuko & iroh)

ITS HERE... MY GOUACHE PAINTING FROM @itsc !! it has been rainy here on account of November and my mailbox is nooooot super waterproof so i have been checking the mail twice daily in a state of Frenzy and Worry but! it is sunny today! so the boys are HOME SAFE (and were packaged in a little plastic bag anyway, which i immediately tore into like a rabid squirrel). dunno yet where im going to hang it up so for now the frame is just sitting at my desk where i can gaze at Them on the daily <3

Bakuratober Day 14: Ghost

Second Rebelle test, watercolors & drips. This time on mulberry paper, because I love the almost web-like texture, and wanted to see how it affected the water physics.

I love the idea his undershirt here has shoulder cutouts! But my favorite shirt has a wide neck, too, so I like to think it's a half binder & matching armsleeves. Maybe someday he'll get a binder with a rad pattern to show off!

i love tumblr's format at its core and it is my preferred platform for longform rambling but like. the fact that my art gets exponentially more engagement on aethy is definitely making me talk more about my characters on aethy and not here 😭

like tumblr loves fanart and that's fine! i get it, it's the majority of what i engage with on here too, but i'm not like. expecting comments or even reblogs half the time. a like would genuinely go a long way, i just want to feel like i'm not shouting into the void 😔

but maybe my perception is skewed bc i always scroll back through my dash to the last post i saw. with few exceptions i really don't miss posts people i follow are making. but i remember my ex used to follow like, thousands of blogs bc it satisfied her to always have things moving. i got upset once that she never saw a damn thing i posted and she was like, oh, lol, i don't see anything anyone posts.

so, idk. i don't think people should be engaging with my OC bullshit if they're not interested. i'm mutuals with a lot of fandom people who assuredly don't care, and that's genuinely fine. i'm not asking anyone to start caring. but if you do care, if you see my art and it makes you feel some positive emotion, maybe just like it? i promise you don't actually have to say anything or put it on your blog. i just like the reassurance that it's being seen.

i could also stand to tag my OC posts with more things but uh. idk what to use. does anyone even check "original character" or "artists of tumblr" for new content??

I just ask that the 2 of you following this page be kind as they are definitely a long way from perfect. A lot of my sketches end up half formed and abandoned out of frustration. If and when those end up on this page, I apologize in advance XD

One day it may be TMA, the next it may be SPN, and then five seconds later it may be Invader Zim with cats sprinkled into the mix. This blog really has no theme except fanart, doodling and a having good time 😅
