sometimes i think "man im so lucky to be mutuals with/follow this person" and i've been reflecting on that as i slowly start to get back into fandom spaces. having friends in fandom is the best, and you guys (those that i've interacted with!) make it 100x better. i feel immensely priviliged to be able to call you guys my blorbo buddies, my fandom fellows, my friends. thank you for being such a positive and wonderful connection to have; i wish you all cold pillows, perfectly ripe fruit and good weather. Love it in sickfics when whumpee is referred to as “buddy” by a teammate turned caretaker. Particularly if that teammate isn’t the nicest of people, maybe gruff and hard to get along with. They’re friends with whumpee but not super close. However, seeing him so clearly I’ll just turns something in caretaker’s mind. “Hey, buddy,” said with the same kind of cadence as one talking to a scared dog. “You’re shaking, buddy,” “you’re burning up, buddy,” “you’re real sick, buddy.” Don’t @ me

correct. however, i raise you: mac reading something that is very common knowledge and jack pretending he does not know what it means to ge a rise out of him. the face on the person to the right just gives jack vibes to me idk. imagine the person on the left is not being silly but instead is mildly annoyed but still bantering. consider for a moment:

what secrets does mac tell? perhaps there's something stupid like "don't mix cleaning products" and jack is like "whaaat? man, cmon, they got us doin' all this work and we *can't* mix a little bleach and baking soda?" and mac looks at him like the person on the left like "are you actually joking."
