Hello all! Here’s a quick update on the development of “Four Tiles”. This is our new game with the familiar isometric design that emphasizes focus and memory. Unlike other memory based games, Four Tiles is about concentration and reflexes. The game difficulty is being designed to evolve gradually.

Four tiles is a high score mobile game and will soon be available for Android. We are working on developing appealing art and music, and will soon be rolling out alpha / beta builds for our users. Stay tuned!

Cubemash - The little cube game to make your head spin!

When I was creating Cubemash, I had one thing in mind; to create something that would deeply engage the players mind and compel them to think quickly and efficiently to score points. In the process, I iterated over several designs, tested them comprehensively to get the feel of the gameplay, and finally settled for the challenging gameplay in Cubemash that you see today.

The game is designed around the concept of spatial awareness, memory, accurate eye-thumb coordination, and rapid thinking to move the cube in the most efficient and fastest way to capture maximum cubes in the shortest possible time. The more cubes / objects you capture in 3 or 6 seconds, the more your chances of scoring a 3x combo or a 6x combo, which not only gives you extra points, but gives you coin rewards as well.

The challenges the player will face are being able to maintain a safe distance from exploding objects, avoiding and dodging the Darkcube that will follow you around after it appears in the middle of each level, and keeping the yellow tank filled to the brim by capturing cubes. That's HARD! But having studied the game over several months, continuous playing will make the game intuitive for the player after a while, and the player will automatically know without thinking how and where to roll the cube to capture maximum objects.

I believe I have created a game that will revolutionize the mobile game concept by introducing a new type of casual arcade rapid puzzler (that's quite a mouthful!) that builds upon years of gaming experience and puzzle knowledge to create something so simple looking but so detailed and engaging in implementation.

Cubemash developments

Hello!

It's been a while since I wrote something here, so here goes...

Most of you may have already tried out Cubemash by downloading it from the Google Play Store, and seen how unique an arcade game / rapid puzzle game it is. If you haven’t already done so, click on the link below and try it out!

To give you a quick summary about the game in case you're still wondering, Cubemash is an exciting new concept in arcade cube games which blends elements of rapid puzzle solving, casual, and arcade to bring a thoroughly engaging and addictive mobile gaming experience. The game is challenging, and helps the player master the controls gradually in an exponential fashion. Which means that the first levels are relatively easier, but the game difficultly then rapidly increases as the players moves up. It just gets harder and harder!

The most exciting thing about Cubemash is the themes. Currently there are two beautiful themes available; the Grapevine theme, and the Pac-Cube theme. Effects and explosions change with each theme, giving the players a different experience each time they play the game. Unlocking themes requires coins which the player can get throughout the game, or by watching rewarded ads. The game is totally free. There are no in-app purchases. So just get the coins by playing and executing combos, and unlock the exciting themes. More themes are actively under development!

Not belonging to the tap-tap mobile game genre (think Crossy Road and Flappy Bird), Cubemash has a completely different play mechanic, and requires the user to slide thumb in "isometric" directions to roll the cube around. The rolling has to be done in the most efficient manner to make sure imminent surrounding explosions are avoided, and time is conserved. This unique gameplay is unseen in modern mobile games, so experience the original now before some lazy dev out there copies it! Cubemash will always remain unique, and the themes will always be something that are born out of creativity, passion, and deep thought.

New Updates, and a Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Let’s begin the new year with renewed hopes, a brave new spirit, and the will to persevere to do things we were all born to do. Here’s to a wonderful new beginning!!

With the new year, we also bring a brand new update for Cubemash. Update 1.20 features a new training mode that allows new players to practice before they dive in to the real game, and several fixes and improvements. With this update we have strived to create a more stable Cubemash experience by optimizing the flow, and allowing the user to be more skilled at the challenging game.

So download / update the game RIGHT NOW from the Google Play Store! Remember, the real joy of Cubemash is challenging friends and family at the leaderboards, and unlocking beautiful themes. Work is already under way to add more exciting content for an upcoming update, so stay tuned... and keep on mashing!!
