No ambiguous "maybe 😉" or hesitant "IDK🤔", just plain simple NO, and these tiktok comments will still be like "So... spice🌶�� when?" WHAT THE HELL. If you're not capable of understanding the meaning of NO, or the aforementioned exhaustive explanation, maybe you should be taking "basic reading/listening comprehension" lessons instead of filling your brain with spice/smut. just a thought :) Someone set booktok on fire pls

[EDIT: I’d like to clarify that being an empathetic man or losing a man in your life does not making you queer. But it is a common trope in media to have queer/queercoded character be the more emotionally mature one / have their love interest buried aka bury the gay trope.

Bucky was originally noticed as a queer coded character because the MCU used female media trope on him to emasculate him (which is not okay because it paints mlm men as inherently feminine, which not all are). To say Sam may have the same trope applied to him, making him appear queer coded, is not a stretch. I said Sam is MLM because personally I can see him being pan, bi, gay, ace, etc. but I do not think that man is straight, not one bit.)

FIRST CHAPTER OF A PETER PARKER FIC IM TRYING OUT!

hello tumblr !!! this is my first post of my first fic i’m writing so be kind but notes would be accepted/appreciated! love you all !

(i know it’s kind of short but the next chapter is super long!)

CHAPTER 1: Final Moments

final moments

you had never been the type to be possessive. you normally would go with the flow, from random outings you don’t plan to other openings that spring from points in your life. that is, before peter came along. He was everything to you. He knew all of your deepest secrets , and you know he would never judge you, even if you were a supervillain. (maybe he would then.) His little smile that curls on the sides of his cheeks just made you wish you could curl up with him the second he was done swinging to someones rescue. for some reason, though, he rarely ever came to yours. I guess he thinks you can handle yourself, which you can, but you just want to get swept up in him once in a while. Is that too much to ask for?

A Plan sparks your understanding and makes it almost impossible to think for the rest of the day at Midtown. You would get yourself in a bad situation that you just can’t talk yourself out of, and he would come save you. Just like you’ve been wishing for. Peter passes you in the hallway and grabs your hand, giving it a little squeeze as he rushes to class. Those little moments are the reason you fell in love with him in the first place. You haven’t said I love you yet, but you know he feels it from you. Peter hasn’t either, and it is a bit worrisome to you. He won’t tell you he loves you. what. Maybe that is the reason he isn’t saving you. You shake the thought from your head as you begin to plan the big save.

First, you will go to the roof of the Avengers tower- you luckily got a key from Tony on the rare occasion that he would trust you to make security fixes. Then you would use projection technology to make a villain so bad that Peter would have feel his tingle at all. But you have a second thought. He won’t feel it if its a projection. So, you do what any sane teen would do, you threaten a supervillain. The Vulture, while still in prison, had an out. and luckily for him, you are good with security tech. It was a big risk, but it was an important necessity for the plan. You finish up giving him a free out of jail card, and you head back to your apartment to prep.

Peter calls you the second you sit in your bedroom, almost like he was waiting for you to come home.

“Hey bug. Did you have a good day at school?”

you respond, “Oh yes, but I wish I got to more than squeeze your hand…”

“Dont I know it. How about this, I will come over to your place, May won’t care.”

“Maybe not tonight Pete”

You can feel him get a bit uneasy, but he doesn’t want you to think he is being overprotective. So he drops it.

“Alright. See you tomorrow then”

He hangs up pretty quick. Perfect.

You then get dressed in a nice emerald green top and jeans, and start walking to the Avengers tower.

On the way you are uneasy. What if he doesn’t feel it? Does that mean what you have been dreading this entire time? That he really doesn’t love you? You shake the thought from your brain and you move forward with your plan, entering the tower.

You are left unnoticed until you reach the top floor of the elevator, where tony is at the entrance.

“Hey Kid. Whats up?”

“Umm” you stammer, “Just getting ready for a picnic with Peter.”

“Well, that’s just Darling. Super. Ill leave you to it then.”

He pulls down his sunglasses and gives you a wink.

You sigh when the doors finally close, and you are up to the roof.

Once you reach it, the Vulture was already ready to strike on you. With only two steps outside of the door your whole spine gives out. You fall with unease, and with all the strength you can muster, you turn your head.

The Vulture looked pissed. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea after all. After letting your spine get the blunt end of a new device the Vulture created, you take your first sharp inhale, just to be met with a jab to the rib.

“This wasn’t smart of you, you small thing” the Vulture mutters as you become jelly with another slap across the mouth.

“It will be” you gasp- “I promise.”

One more punch to the stomach with this new metal arm on Vulture sent your mind into a tizzy. Where is your Hero? Your gut, amongst the pain was beginning to feel uneasy with your boyfriend. A buzz in your pocket sends a rush of relief over you. Parker was calling you. He feels it.

But its a bit too late. You feel the sharp twinge of a blade to the side, and your eyes grow wide. The Vultures face was smug, but you still had more fight left in you. You got in a few blows while he was catching his breath and switching weapons, but hitting with one hand is pretty hard to do, as one of your hands is trying to stop the blood from spilling from you.

You then hear that web that calmed you down. He was here to get you to safety.

“Y/N? Whats going on???” He screams as he rushes to your side, hands shaking when he realized how injured you were. He has beaten the Vulture before, so he grabs all of the power he can muster. He knows he has to be fast or you will pass out from blood loss.

“Here to save your girl? She’s the one that brought me here, ask her.”

You see your spider boy whip his head around and you could feel his face drop within his mask. He shouldn’t have looked at you, because the Vulture got in a punch. he starts to shake. You start to worry that this big plan of yours would hurt him as well, but you trusted him enough to understand he has you.

He then throws a web and disables the Vulture. Liz’s father falls to the ground in agony, and you see peter call Tony quickly to take care of the Vulture while he took care of you. Your vision was starting to move and dim, just as he reaches your side.

“hey hey hey. Look at me. What were you thinking?” Peter cries out

“I.. dont”

your words begin to slur.

“Stay with me. I love you. I know I haven’t said it yet, but I love every inch of you. The good, and the part of you that brings in a villain for no reason.”

that was it. It was what you needed to hold yourself up and wrap yourself in him. whispering, “I love you too. I just wanted you to take care of me, I didn’t think it would get this bad”

“You just wanted me to swing here? Why would you do that?”

“You always think I am capable of saving myself, but I just wanted to know that you cared enough about me to come here.”

You begin to fall out of consciousness

right as brings his lips to yours, then. Darkness.
