I'm chopping wood with Karma and Kaos. They’re dogs, so they’re lovable, but they don’t help much in the way of holding an ax or operating the woodsplitter.

I’m feeling grateful for what I’m given, and I’m not going to deflect help like I used to. I felt a lot of shame, when I didn’t even deserve it; nobody is helped from shame --not me or anyone else. I’m trusting this life to grow me into who I need to be.
