new oc: Jade the Tenrec! she's surge's layabout cousin with insane good luck.
#directly inspired by none other than gladstone gander!#she's sort of a thought experiment in how that sort of luck would interact with the sonic universe#and how it could affect someone without them being the exact same as gladstone#she's acts really chill cause she wants people to genuinely like her so badly. but it rarely works#she used to be very arrogant and uncaring regarding all the catastrophes cause she didn't think that could happen to her#like she assumed that the planet could never be destroyed simply because she was on it and her luck protects her#and she thought in a way that made her a hero too. just by existing she keeps everyone safe and she doesn't have to lift a finger!#because she likes the idea of being a hero but she's too lazy to actually do anything#and then the war happened and so did the metal virus and she watched everyone else get hurt and infected while she was untouched#and it turns out that her luck never did anything for anyone else#it won't stop the apocalypse it'll just make her survive slightly longer#so now she's terrified of the world ending cause she doesn't want to be alone#but she still won't do anything about it and she doesn't tell anyone#oh also surge doesn't know jade exists. jade is vaguely aware of surge but hasn't connected the dots#surge would not like her if they met#sonic#jade the tenrec#my ocs#sonic oc
