WolfStar Fanfic Pt 7

 James took a moment deciding who to go over to first; Sirius or Remus. He motioned to Peter to try and comfort Remus as best as he could. Then James rushed over to the black greyhound seemingly unconscious in the back of the room. He dropped to his knees beside Sirius and shook him slightly. Sirius transformed back into his human form and whimpered slightly, trying to move. 

“J-James…” He said quietly. “Remus… R-Remus…” James shook his head, trying to tell Sirius that he had no idea what he was saying.

“Peter…” James called over to his friend. “We gotta get them up to our dorm and figure out what to do.”

“James, we can’t.” Peter said. “The moon is still out. Remus’ll transform again. And even if the moon’s behind a cloud right now, it’s still a bit of a walk back to the front doors and we can’t risk that. We either need to get Dumbledore or wait it out.”

“WE CAN’T WAIT IT OUT, PETER!!!” James shouted, getting both frustrated and extremely worried. “They are both severely injured!” 

“What do you suppose we should do!?” Peter shot back, but James was suddenly silent. 

“The passage in Honeydukes.” James said. “All we need to do is make sure we can get to that, then we're inside for the rest of the time.” Peter was silent for a second.

“Brilliant!” He said finally. Peter lifted Remus up and put his arm under Remus’s. Remus was slightly conscious, just in a lot of pain; So he could walk a little with Peter supporting him. As Peter got Remus, James crossed the room and, with great effort, picked up Sirius’s unconscious body and headed to an exit to the shack. As the three of them walked forward, Remus caught sight of James carrying Sirius and how extremely injured Sirius looked. He stopped making an effort to walk. 

“D-did… D-Did I d-do th-th-that??” He asked, looking straight at Sirius and Peter stayed silent, casting a worried glance at James. James stopped for a split second, but then continued to walk forward.

WolfStar Fanfic Pt 6

As they were walking across the grounds, Remus was holding his arms tightly across his chest. Sirius noticed this.

“Hey,” He said, catching Remus’s attention. “Don’t listen to them. They’re assholes. Don’t know their place. No doubt they’ll end up on Voldemort’s side. But, yeah. Don’t pay them any attention. Just ignore-”

“It’s true, though.” Remus said quietly. “It’s true.” James and Peter were now listening, James coming up beside Peter so they were right behind Remus and Sirius and able to hear them easily. 

“What?” Sirius asked. “What’s true?”

“What Lucius said.” Remus said, even quieter now.

“Remus, I don’t understand-”

“I am gay.” Remus replied quietly looking down. “Lucius was right.” Silence followed this statement, as no one could seem to find the right thing to say. 

“Say something please.” Remus said, his voice barely audible. But instead of saying something, Sirius simply took Remus’s hand in his and Sirius saw a small smile spread across Remus’s face.

“You know we’ll always accept you, right?” James asked Remus and he nodded. Peter nodded in agreement to James’s statement. As they approached the Whomping Willow, Sirius transformed into his beautiful greyhound form and placed his paw on one of the roots of the Whomping Willow to temporarily stun it as the others climbed into the secret passage to get to the Shrieking Shack. Once they were all there, it was nearly time for the moon to come out. Sirius transformed back into his human for a moment to comfort Remus, as he was looking extremely nervous. 

“Hey,” Sirius said, taking both of Remus’s hands in his. “We’re all gonna be fine. We’ve got this.” As the moonlight slowly bled through the windows of the shack, Sirius transformed into his greyhound form, James, his stag form and Peter, his rat form. They watched Remus’s painful transition into his werewolf form. But… Something looked wrong. Remus was cowering on the ground screaming, half of him already transformed and the other half still human. Sirius looked at the others worriedly, before slowly approaching Remus. He took small steps toward him, not wanting to startle him, but right as he got within a couple inches of Remus, the rest of him transformed fully and Remus threw Sirius across the room and into the opposite wall. Sirius whimpered loudly, obviously hurt. James acted quickly, trying to take down Remus just enough to disarm him, but not hurt him. Peter tried to take Remus down at his feet, since he couldn’t do much else; He was literally a rat at the moment. Sirius barked instructions weakly, hoping someone would understand and thankfully, James did. Jumping gracefully away and covering the windows with various things that would stay up, shielding all the moonlight from the room. Remus’s werewolf form slowly started to disform as Remus’s regular, human form started to appear. Peter transformed back into his human form as did James. They were both injured, just not much. Just a few cuts and scrapes. Remus was now laying in the middle of the shack, all his scars showing, as he was now naked, whimpering and sobbing.

WolfStar fanfic Pt 5

After Defense Against The Dark Arts, they had potions with Professor Slughorn then their classes were over for the day. James and Sirius hurried to the Potions classroom and sat down just as class started. 

After Potions, they headed up to their dormitory before dinner. James flopped down on his bed and sighed, Peter went rummaging through his trunk for a sweatshirt, Sirius opened a book to study for an upcoming Transfiguration test and Remus sat on his bed, thinking about what he should do. 

About an hour later, James stood up and spoke. 

“We should probably go grab some early dinner from the House-Elves if we wanna get to our place before moonlight.” He said and the others nodded. Remus seemed more nervous than ever for his transformation tonight and Sirius noticed. He hung at the back of the group with him as they walked to the kitchen. Once they snuck in, a group of House-Elves swarmed them, bowing and curtseying.

“Thes usual, Mr. Potter, sir?” One of their House-Elf friends, Blinky, asked. 

“Yes.” James answered. “Thanks, Blinky.” 

“Its nots a problem sirs.” Blinky replied, before running into the kitchen. 

“Anythings other thans yours usual?” Another House-Elf, Genny, asked.

“I think we’re good.” James said.

“Actually,” Peter interrupted. “Could I get some of that chocolate cake that was served last night if there’s any left?” Genny nodded.

“There's lots and lots of cakes left, sir.” She said, “Genny wills go get them’s for Mr. Pettigrew, sir.” Peter nodded and Genny ran into the kitchen as well right as Blinky came out of the kitchen with a sack of food. 

“Here’s is Mr. Potter’s usual, sir.” She said, “Woulds Mr. Potter want anything else thats Binky coulds help withs?” James shook his head as Genny came out of the kitchen with a bag of chocolate cake for Peter.

“I think we’re good now, thanks.” 

“No problems, Mr. Potter and Mr. Lupin and Mr. Black and Mr. Pettigrew!” Blinky said.

“Genny and Blinky wills see’s you’s soon?” Genny asked.

“Of course!” Sirius answered, then he, James, Sirius and Peter left the kitchens and walked toward the entrance hall to go outside. But, with their luck, they ran into Narcissa Black, Sirius’s cousin, and Lucius Malfoy. They were both stuck-up, nasty Slytherins that liked to bully and tease anyone from another house for no reason. 

“Where’re you four going right before dinner?” Lucius asked as James, Peter, Sirius and Remus stopped short. None of them seemed brave enough to say anything until Sirius spoke.

“None of your business, Malfoy.” He said, stepping forward. 

“Oh, are you trying to be brave now?” Lucius asked, stepping forward as well. Even though none of them would admit it, they all thought that Lucius was quite intimidating. But Sirius stood his ground as Lucius gave him an even more intimidating look. 

“Answer my question and I’ll let you pass.” Lucius said.

“We don’t need your permission to pass.” Sirius replied, then proceeded to push past Lucius toward the front doors, but Lucius grabbed his wrist and pulled him back. 

“What?” He asked. “Is little Lupin too shy to even attend dinner with the entire school?” He and Narsissa cackled. Sirius turned back to Lucius.

“Shut up.” He said. 

“Awww, defending the poor, lonely gay are you, S-” But Lucius wasn’t able to finish, due to Sirius punching him hard in the face. Lucius immediately reacted, swinging a hard punch at Sirius, who dodged it. The two fought until Narsissa grabbed Lucius and James grabbed Sirius a few seconds later. Sirius struggled to get out of James’s grip, desperately wanting to punch Lucius again. 

“We need to go, Sirius.” James whispered fiercely into Sirius’s ear, then released him, once he was sure Sirius would once again lunge at Lucius, who was disarmed and on the ground, clutching his bloody nose with Narcissa fussing over him. The four walked out the castle doors, Sirius and Remus in the lead, Peter in the middle and James bringing up the rear, keeping an eye out to make sure Lucius and Narsissa weren’t following them.

Backstory with the Malfoys:

I got bitten by a werewolf during my first year at Hogwarts. My brother, Draco, and his friends, Pansy and Blaise, told me to sneak into the Forbidden Forest on a dare and come back with something cool that could only be found, there, in the forest. Of course, it was around midnight, the obvious time to complete a dare like this. Anyway, a werewolf snuck up from behind and bit me. I remember everything going black and waking up on the forest floor, who knows how long after. Not knowing what the hell had happened, I quickly got up, grabbed some random plant from the ground and headed toward the exit of the forest. Everything was fine until a couple days later on a Hogsmeade saturday. Once the sun had begun to set, I started feeling extremely weird and uncomfortable. Little did I know I was about to transform into a werewolf. When I transformed, obviously scared with my life, even though I was in a really remote part of Hogsmeade, Pansy saw the whole thing. Disgusted, she told Draco, who complained to our parents, who kicked me out, not wanting a half-blood ruining the family name. I was to fend for myself for nearly the entire summer after first year. Until a full moon near the end of August. That's where I meant Remus and Sirius.

WolfStar Fanfic Pt 4

James, Peter, Sirius and Remus exchanged worried glances.

“There are many dangers to werewolves," Continued Professor Carrow. "And if any of you ever come across one, get help right away, for they are vicious, unholy, foul creatures.” Sirius saw Remus close his eyes and tilt his head down. “They’re monsters. They’re dishonorable, vile monsters-” Sirius suddenly stood up abruptly and the entire class tuned to him. 

“Is there a problem Mr. Black?” Professor Carrow asked. Sirius opened his mouth to speak, but Remus pulled on his sleeve, his head still tilted down, looking at the table.

“Sit down.” He whispered. “Sirius, sit down.”

“You might wanna listen to your friend if you don’t want yet another detention.” Professor Carrow said, turning around to continue his lesson. Remus tugged on Sirius’s sleeve again and Sirius finally sat down. 

“Just sit through it.” Remus whispered to Sirius. 

“Remus, this is shit!” Sirius whispered back. 

“Just sit through it.” Remus repeated. As Professor Carrow droned on about how ‘dangerous’, ‘mean’, ‘vile’ creatures werewolves are. Sirius slipped his hand into Remus’s without even looking at him and Remus happily accepted it. 

About forty-five minutes later, Professor Carrow finally stopped speaking and dismissed the class as the bell rang. Sirius snuck a look at James and James nodded. As the four of them met at the door, Sirius released Remus's hand.

“James’s and I’ll catch up in a minute.” He said and Remus nodded, continuing to his next class with Peter. Sirius and James snuck up behind Professor Carrow and pointed their wands at him. He turned around in surprise, but knew very well that he shouldn’t make any sudden movements. 

“Ah, Mr. Potter, Mr. Black,” He said, still not daring to move a muscle. “You’re here to do what exactly?” 

“Werewolves are not at all what you say they are. “Sirius said, anger pulsing through him. 

“Ah, but you two don’t know any werewolves, so you can’t test that theory, now can you?” Professor Carrow said with a hearty laugh after. Sirius opened his mouth to speak but stopped when James elbowed him. 

“Don’t.” He whispered. “Let’s just do it.”

“Do w-what?” Professor Carrow asked, getting a bit scared now. “Please, I know that you guys are nice, caring people and that you care a lot about all creatures, however, werewolves are the indeed the most dangerous and vile of them all-” “Crucio!!!” James and Sirius yelled in unison, then sped out of the room as Professor Carrow fell to the floor.

WolfStar Fanfic Pt 3

The next day, James, Peter, Remus and Sirius were running through the halls again, this time toward the potions classroom, trying desperately not to be late, although they knew it was no use; They were never getting there on time. As they were rounding a corner, they ran straight into someone. They turned just in time to watch Severus Snape fall to the floor, his books slipping out of his tightly clenched hands. 

“Watch it, Snivellus!” James and Sirius barked in unison, pushing past Severus to get to the potions room. They ran into the classroom and James (who was in the lead) stopped short, causing Peter to run straight into his back, then Sirius into Peter’s back and Remus into Sirius’s back. 

“Wha-” Sirius started but stopped as he noticed Professor Carrow. 

“Potter, Black, Lupin, Pettigrew, Snape. You’re late.” Professor Carrow said as James, Sirius, Peter and Remus glanced behind them and saw Severus standing behind them, looking down. “Detention for you all, twenty five points from Gryffindor and ten points from Slyherin. Continue to your seats. James and Peter walked to their normal seats in the back left of the room with Lily Evans, whom the others noticed James definitely had a crush on. Remus and Sirius sat at their table next to Peter, James and Lily’s and Severus went to his normal seat with no one else in the corner of the room. Professor Carrow returned to the front of the room. 

“As I was saying before,” He said, droning on. “Today we’ll be talking about werewolves.”

WolfStar Fanfic pt 2

“Whew! That was a close call.” James said after a minute or two of silence as they all caught their breaths. The other chuckled softly.

“Yeah.” Sirius agreed. “Filch was right on the other side of that hall. One more minute wasted and we would’ve been caught.”

“That would’ve been the first time in… A couple months.” Said Peter. “If we got caught more often we’d probably have the worst marks ever.” They all laughed; Although, they thought that they all laughed. Sirius, however, noticed the absence of Remus’s laughter in the mix of his, James and Peter’s. He sat up and glanced at Remus’s bed where Remus lay, staring up at the ceiling. 

“Moony?” Sirius called, catching Remus’s attention and causing him to look over at Sirius. James and Peter now sat up, looking over at Remus too. “Are you okay?” Remus turned his head back to face the ceiling and he sighed. 

“It’s a full moon tomorrow.” Remus said quietly and James and Peter glanced at each other sadly as Sirius’s gaze was fixed on Remus.

“Hey, you’ll be fine!” Sirius replied. “We’re all ready! Remember? We’ll always be there for you.” Remus was silent for a minute.

“Last time I hurt you.” He said finally with a voice that was barely audible as he closed his eyes, trying to suppress tears. Everyone was silent for a hot second.

“You didn’t mean to! It wasn’t on purpose! Besides, it wasn’t at all bad. Just a scratch.”

“It was not just a scratch. You went unconscious.” Remus replied, a few silent tears falling down his cheeks. “And it doesn’t matter. I still did it.” Once again, a silence filled the room, and it was not from the sleep of the kids which was the case in most other dormitories. Sirius transformed into his animagus, a big, black deerhound dog and walked over to the edge of Remus’s bed, putting his head right next to Remus’s and licking his nose. As James and Peter watched, they seemed to notice for the first time how much Remus blushed when looking into Sirius’s eyes (Dog or not) or when Sirius did things like lick Remus’s nose when he was a dog. Remus smiled a small, cute smile, reached down toward Sirius and patted his fluffy head. James and Peter smiled at each other, seeing the obvious chemistry between Moony and Padfoot. Sirius stepped away from Remus’s hand, walked to the end of his bed and draped the blanket over him. Remus smiled and gave Sirius one last pet before Sirius returned to his own bed, transformed back into his human form and pulled his own blankets over himself. James and Peter did the same and they’re soon all asleep.
