I already post this first picture but not the lasts ones. So we have here a wonderful story. The name of the man in the photo is Manuel, the grandfather of @nataliaovsanchez She is extremely grateful to him, she told me: My grandpa, Manuel, had many stories to tell but one that stayed with was this one. He was in a bus at a young age and it went down a hill. He told me that he was greatly injured and said that he could feel his own skull . No one came to help him. He was left there for dead. He never ever gave up. He said that he put his skin back like a banana peel haha. He taught me a life lesson that you can not always depend on others and you must be willing to fight for your life. Now, these photographs have an amazing story behind it! The photos were sent by @classicrockcereal and the man in the photograph was his great uncle Leo Carenza. Born on February 8th 1907 in Saint Louis Missouri he had moved from Saint Louis to Detroit Michigan. His ancestry was Italian, his parents were born in Italy and they had 10 siblings. Leo Carenza got married to the woman in the picture Rose Marie Nicholson on May 31st of 1948. @classicrockcereal finished: "Leo was also in the Italian mafia most of his brothers were expect Joe Carenza he became a professional soccer athlete these pictures were taken in Detroit Michigan. Leo died on April of 1969. " How amazing history is? What an amazing family history and the pictures are so lovely!
