The day of the Snake Lord /  22/10/27

Happy Birthday and another year around, I did not forget this day, though yes I know it's still one day away on my time. Have you been well? Have you changed? Is it for the better- and if so, the better of whom? I drew this as a favorite-scene-throwback in the anime where Orochimaru is watching Kakashi attempt to thwart the cursed seal on Sasuke's neck during the Chunin Exams and his creeping purple chakra just inflicts Intimidation+100 at the unfortunate futility. I hope to be able to complete another work like this next year- and hopefully other arts as well. It has been quite a tumultuous 2022! Take care for now folks. A bit of an update on one of the very first arts I uploaded. The difference this time was that it took me about half an hour for this speedpaint, versus the first one which took several hours.If there's been improvement in my speed of art, it is apparent. I always start with the grey lines like Zan but I never save anything at that point so most of it is further along. For Eve I painted with the sketch still there because I am a lazy one. I have to admire anyone who uses fine lines and/or does detailed sketches.
