YouTube should add a spoiler feature.

I just hate when whatever show/stream/series or whatever fandom i engage in gets spoiled for me because i haven't caught up for the newest content for the past week. Its not youtube's fault because its literally just showing me the content that i like and i engage in, and showing me the newest stuff from it. But i just get spoiled from thumbnail's, and titles from clip channels and of the sort its just like man.

SO I PROPOSE- or at least like a yt extension or something, to just have a spoiler feature that you can toggle on or off. You can adjust it to how recent do you want post to be hidden, either like hours/days/weeks/months or years and stuff. Where example like posts of anything marvel related that is recent that has been posted for the past 1 week will be hidden in your feed/recommended. But anything after that week will be shown to you. You can type in the fandom/series/show/youtuber or topic, and anything that's related to that word will be hidden.

It can be like where you can see the videos on your feed, but its just both the title and thumbnail is blurred and shows on top like what topic it relates to, and how recent the post is, where you can still check the video and still watch it. But this at least gives you less of a chance to get accidentally spoiled on the shows you love!

And since its toggled, you can turn it off once you get caught up with whatever that is

Another idea- where the spoiler feature is at a timer on how long its going to blur spoiler videos, either for only a week, a few days or months or whatever! so you dont accidentally forget to toggle off the spoiler indicator and realize you've been like 3 weeks late on everything you've been watching-

This could work for other social media sites as well, like for posts or artwork that spoils the recent activity, it would work a little bit differently but the same idea could work as well
