What do you study at uni?

It probably has a different name in english, but I'm studying library sciences :D

There are some philosophy and IT courses in there that we can specialize in if we choose, but I'm sticking with the social studies and librarian training

The kids call him "Bud" or "Buddy" by complete coincidance and stick with it when he perks up at the nickname. They don't figure out his "real name" at any point, but Buddy works well enough. It's still Toothless as we know him, he just has no way to communicate that to anyone

Ohhh this is an old one. The hospital thing wasn't anything serious, just had to get some blood tests done. But I do appreciate the concern <3

How about a Boneknapper and a Storm cutter or a Storm cutter and a Shock jaw?

( @acamaryseinteery ) I used to dislike the canon Bonestormer design but then I got one in SoD (emulator) and now I'm very much fond of them. This redesign idea was still a banger though. (I'm voting Bonecutter for the name)

I’m considering making a blog similar to this one but for a different fandom so I wanted to ask if you have any tips?

Don't be discouraged if your posts don't draw in people immediately, it can take time for the right people to find you. I started out as a daily art blog before I changed to an art request blog, so my daily posting gave my followers something to come back for (aside from my infinitely likeable and charming personality, clearly) (joke)

I got lucky enough to be discovered by some very kind and very supportive people early on, who helped me keep up with the daily posting for much longer than I expected to be able to do. Give it some time, and your people will find you as well.

In my experience, it's very easy to get overwhelmed once you have requests coming in on the regular. Don't be afraid to take breaks, and don't push yourself to keep creating if you're not having fun with it anymore. Draw your boundaries where needed, and don't forget that It's Your House. You get to make and change the rules.

Be kind to people, be welcoming, and most of all: have fun!

Oh damn, is it just me or did your art skills just get even better? How do you manage this? I’m starting to think you have some sort of magic 🤔

Oh for sure, I don't do all those sacrifices for nothing! Much more affordable than going to art school 👍

To be fair though, I've been drawing these dragons pretty consistently since january of 2024, so it makes sense that I'd get better at it.

That being said. Yeah! It looks kind of insane to me too!!

mine is Stormcutter and this is a drawing I've been trying to figure out by memory, so I'll just try to mess a bit w the shapes and stuff :3

My favorites are Death Grippers <3

Looks good so far! My first ever attempt of a Stormcutter from memory was... pretty bad. In my defense though I was like 9 or 10
