now that trump has tiktok, twitter, facebook and insta in his pocket, get ready for a massive wave of internet censorship. one of trump's greatest weapons has always been misinformation; it's going to become harder and harder to spread facts and criticism going forward. posts that aren't made invisible will be magically ignored by the algorithm. dissidents will have their accounts deleted and voices erased.

this is a suppression tactic. this is another stage of fascism.

there are obviously lots of plotline and plotpoints in this book but i chose to tab the ones that are absolutely crucial to the progression of the plot.

page 34- Harry gets his Hogwarts letter

page 55- '"Yer a wizard Harry" said Hagrid'

page 93- Harry meets the Weasleys

page 121- '"- better be GRYFFINDOR"' (sorting ceremony)

page 159- Malfoy tricks Harry by tipping off Filch about the theoretical 'Midnight duel' this results in them finding Fluffy. They see that Fluffy is guarding something

page 176- Harry and Ron defeat the troll on Halloween, befriending Hermione (up to this point in the book they really hated her and I don't remember that aspect of their relationship)

page 201- Harry inherits the invisibility cloak

page 207- Harry finds the Mirror of Erised

page 220- The trio figures out who created the sorcerers stone

page 226- Harry eavesdrops on Quirrel and Snape bickering about Fluffy, leading Harry to think that Snape wants what Fluffy is guarding.

page 256- Harry and Malfoy see a figure in the Forbidden Forest drinking unicorn blood.

page 288- Harry finds out that it wasn't Snape that wanted what Fluffy was guarding, it was Quirrel

page 293- Quirrel reveals that under his turban he has Voldemort..? I don't really know how to word this. It's a very weird plot point and we as a fandom don't talk about it enough lmfao.

page 306- Gryffindor wins the house cup at the last minute (aka Dumbledore is a biased bitch and awards points for students breaking rules so that Gryffindor wins)
