A message to the JoJo fandom:

Put out content.

Yeah, we’ve been seriously lacking in content lately. It’s partly because a lot of us are leaving the fandom; but for one reason or another, anyone still in the fandom has been really quiet lately.

I know there’s a lot of discourse and hate circulating in the fandom, but the best way to counteract that is to have a BUNCH of content, so we don’t always have to see that. The more stuff in the tags, the less likely it is to catch a popular discourse post at the top of the page.

Post what you wanna post, have fun, and even if it’s something totally dumb, put it out there! Your art, screencaps, gifs, shitty memes, fics, edits, videos; whatever it is that you’re into making, slap it into that little tumblr box and post it!

Hell, even I’ve been posting a lot less, because I look at my blog and go… hmm, I don’t want to post too much… I’ve already put up 3 edits in a row… I’d better reblog something else before I add more… But there’s really nothing left that I haven’t reblogged before, and it’s super disheartening.

I feel like everyone is afraid to post anything right now because of how AWFUL a small group of people are being right now, and I see it affecting the community MASSIVELY. So, a word from someone who has had to deal with these people first-hand: Don’t let it stop you from diving head-first into your favourite pairing, and writing the best damn fic ever written, or finally posting that doodle you’ve had sitting in your drafts for a month.

Don’t be afraid of them, because at the end of the day, it’s your own blog, and you should be able to share your work with the fandom.
