The work represents the artist in the process of having her blood transfused to a teddy bear, as in the process of giving that lifeless object a much needed life. In some sense, this teddy bear represents the life of palestinian children whose lives have been stripped away by the occupation, be that physically or emotionally, and thus they have become similar to an inmate object that is unable to regain a meaningful life regardless of the amount of blood being transfused to.
The little boy who died with an unopened packet of biscuits in his hand. The baby girl who died with an uneaten croissant in her fingers. The boy who was playing football with his friend when his head exploded.
All those Palestinian children had futures. And now they’re dead.

Attention Christians - THIS is what Jesus would do. Put his body on the line, speak truth to power, and demand justice for the starving and oppressed. 🙌
Thank you, @christiansforafreepalestine, for being an example of true decency and faith in action.
“Our scriptures say ‘woe to you, who eat while others go hungry!” they called out to senate staff.
Saying “Congress won’t eat until Gaza eats,” over 60 Christians from across the U.S. are nonviolently blockading the Senate Cafeteria to pressure the Senate and their staffers to support a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, restore aid to UNRWA, and end military funding to Israel. #CFPAction
"The terrorist Israeli occupation, after half a year, is still insisting on entering Rafah, which is the last city that still contains most of the population of the Gaza Strip.
80% of the Gaza Strip is destroyed and suffers from continuous military invasions, the movement of the Israeli army, besieging hospitals, commit massacres, destroy and blow up residential neighborhoods. And besieging the population and starving them.
The terrorist occupation is committing these crimes in front of the world, and is trying to have more time to destroy the hopes of the displaced to return and kill them with hunger and disease, and make the world get used to what is happening in Gaza and reduce media coverage and solidarity with Palestine, in addition to causing more destruction and strengthening the presence of the Israeli terrorists in Gaza in preparation for stealing the land.
Be smarter than them, and do not leave us to be killed and forgotten. *April 15 is a day of global strike*.. No schools, no movement, no work, no electronic payment, no gas stations. Make more noise and disturb the peace of terrorist politicians in America and IsraHell.
In the picture, me after half a year of documenting the genocide and surviving it daily without being sure of surviving the next day, and I will not stop until this genocide ends and I sit in the middle of my city feeling safe while I help my people rebuild Gaza."
Here's what to do:
Don't go to school or work (if you can)
Protest (if you can)
Do not shop anywhere
Do not use your credit card or use any money
Wear green, red, white and black clothes to show solidarity. Wear a badge, a keffiyeh, or anything that signifies your solidarity
i can’t believe this is happening… i’ve been thinking of the al-shifa siege for the past five six days and it has literally made me sick. when will this end?

Hello world, the father of the sick child. My son Osaid suffers from brain atrophy and an electrical surge in the brain that leads to frightening epileptic seizures for five years. For five years, Osaid has been receiving treatment and his condition is stable, but after the outbreak of war and the destruction that befell the health system in Gaza, he is no longer receiving treatment and his condition is getting worse day by day. I don't want to lose my seven-year-old son and have no one else. Help me get out of Gaza to Egypt to receive treatment. Everything you do will help save the life of my son Usaid, who loves life like the rest of the world’s children and your children. Coordinating travel to Egypt for one person may reach $7,000 through Hala Travel Company. I hope that you, my brothers and friends, will help Acid and support him to survive, as he is a beautiful child who loves life just as your children love life.
I cannot help because I’m a minor and cannot donate but I can spread awareness
