A theory for the future of IDW

In the last annual, we saw that Kit is planning on creating villainy for surge to stop. That way he continues to fulfil his programming, and he keeps surge happy. 

At some point, this is going to come to a point that surge realises that the good deeds she has been doing are not actually helping anyone, and that kit is behind it. This will lead to an argument that will split the two of them up. Surge will go on her own and try and be a real hero, and Kit will try to become more independent, to help surge better in the future.

This would mirror very well with the end of sonic frontiers. Tails throughout the game realises that he is holding himself back by not growing for himself. He ends with a plan to become more independent and stronger, so that he can help sonic better in the future.

Now, this is all well and good, but I would like to take it one step further. I believe that Sonic frontiers would be an event in the comics at about the same time. Which means that before comic 90 we would have the next mainline game canon, and we would have Sage the in the comic, which is what I am dying for. Then Belle and sage can have a nice conversation, and everything will be right in the world.
