It took me so long to get through Six of Crows. I was intrigued over the last half of this book but the setup and plot are just not what I usually enjoy. I am going to start Crooked Kingdom now because I am still interested in finding out how this story ends for these characters. I finished The Shadows Between us last night. I absolutely loved it! That's more than I expected actually. The main character, Alessandra, grew on me. She was very dislikeable at the beginning. Manipulative and vain. By the end, I really loved and admired her wit. I also have to say I'm not good at figuring out plot twists and I was on to this one. I suspected at least one thing that happened but I was surprised by the other part of the reveal at the end. So I'm doing a thing right now.... I'm rereading the Twilight Saga. 👀 I last read this over 10 years ago when I was in high school. The nostalgia is unbelievable. I still love it!! . . . Admittedly, I skipped over a good chunk of New Moon. That was my least favorite book in the series. I love Jacob too but I am Team Edward all the way. Eclipse was always my favorite and still is apparently. The angst!! I couldn't put it down yesterday! I read the whole book in one day!! 😳 Breaking Dawn is next on my reading schedule. I'm sure I'm going to love it just as much. . . . Who else loves the word 'love' as a pet name as much as I do? I caught myself rereading the lines in which Edward calls Bella this. (Swoon!) I get so enthralled by stories that I just have to know what happens next and can't put books down. . . . So I started reading The Queen's Assassin yesterday. It's okay. Shadow seems to be very impulsive and not very good at making decisions. I'm having a hard time connecting to both of the main characters.
