My very special third exhibition, The Third Time's a Harm, will take place in the Pittsburgh area at KSD & The Radio Room (@ksd.412) on October 7th, 2022. I want to thank everyone at KSD & The Radio Room for inviting me to transform their space and do what I do. With the number three being so prevalent throughout my work, this third exhibition will be a defining moment for me as an artist. Make your plans now to be in attendance, it's going to be a very special night. I can't wait for you to experience my art and meet you there. Press release as follows. ▾▼▾ ▾BREAKING▾ Travis Trium Perfectum brings his unique and medium blurring art experience to KSD & The Radio Room gallery in Homestead, Pennsylvania. The Third Time's a Harm exhibition is centered upon three charcoal pieces that will be brought to life in his all new large-scale video & sound installation. Made up of multiple monitors and the piece being 9 foot wide by over 6 foot tall, this will undoubtedly be a must-see, ominous spectacle. New charcoal pieces will also debut and surround the viewer after recovering from the immersive installation. Encounter five years of art, poetry and conceptual continuity depicting surreal visions of the human condition and beyond. ▾▼▾ Opening night meet & greet begins on first Friday, October 7th at 5pm until 10pm. Travis will be on hand along with original works and prints for sale. Do not miss this rare and intimate evening with an emerging dark artist. RSVP here: https://fb.me/e/27j1bCmM1

Well, today is my birthday. There are very few things I put aside time for and pull myself away from my work, but today is one of them. As I endure down this path I continue to carve, I have a (un)healthier understanding of seizing the present and patience. It's not hard to find contrast in what I do and who I am, but this realization is but another dichotomy that I have found attractive and important. Each year I figure out a little more about what makes this life important and meaningful to me and I set out to push myself and do more of it. I have been creating for longer than I can remember. I see things I have forgotten about myself in my work that push through from what feels like another life ago. I am always sharpening my many blades that represent how multifaceted I truly am. My obsession and fixation, always on the brink of damaging, are who I am. I embrace that and will continue to slither wherever my passion takes me. I appreciate anyone who has kept me in their existence, whether it be you following my work online or to the very small circle I associate with. ▾ My year, in many ways, will culminate in the fall for a very special third occasion. I will have an announcement within the next three weeks making that ceremony official. ▾▾▾

ᴀɴ ʜᴏɴᴇꜱᴛ ꜰʟᴀɢ Purchase and help fight theocracy here: https://purchase.iamunlikeyou.com/product/an-honest-flag-36-x-60 It's not really me to sit idly by. Whenever I feel compelled to do something, I do it. It's easy to feel helpless during these times, but I always fall back on what I do and have to offer. I wanted to create and say something I was feeling and something that in turn may help even but a little. The last two supreme court rulings, the overturning of Roe v Wade followed by allowing teacher/staff lead prayers in public schools, have solidified the urgency for a more accurate flag. "An Honest Flag" was the outcome, something much more fit to be flying in front of every courthouse and in every classroom. The flag appears colorless because many people in power want to drain that from us. Obviously this can be applied from a race standpoint, but also in a metaphoric way in that they want us to adhere and obey one ideology, one religion. I personally will not obey and I will use my art to leverage the fight against it. I'm tired of people continuing to act like the united states of america is the greatest country in the world, it's not. We have the ability to be the greatest country in the world, but we always put profit/prophet over people. Time to do the honorable thing and replace the flag. Fight theocracy, live free. ▾ Flag is a full 3' x 5' (36" x 60") ▾ I encourage you to display this flag at your home, use it at protests and replace flags around you if you deem fit. Making the flag more accurate is the honorable thing to do. ▾ 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙛𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮. ▾▾▾

𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 ↠ & musical composition ▾ "My words so smooth, glossed over your heads with commas scraping whatever is left of you. Commas cut, I'll bleed you wet. Red velvet fluid vignette. You know I've got the combination to the blood bank (anything but) safe between your thighs. So attached to death, advocate for the flies. I'll get out what's good from you, just to be close to your peak moment. And you'll know I control it." ▾ I felt the need and want to retrace why I have been referred to as a visual poet. My pen seems stronger and my thoughts sharper. I wanted to see what would happen if I sat down to write again and Red Velvet Fluid Vignette is what became of it. I hope you enjoy this writing piece and I also transformed these words into a spoken word musical composition. A little over twelve hours of a creative blur from yesterday has resulted in everything you see here. I wish for love and disdain. ▾▾▾

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄'𝐒 𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌▾ Charcoal on 18 x 24″ 140lb watercolor paper Available – Inquire for details here: [email protected] ▾ The number three has always been very prominent throughout time in creativity and beyond. It has become a reoccurring theme in my work as well. The backbone of story telling is having a beginning, middle and end. Three represents completion in many ways including the birth, life, death cycle and of course the trinity in many religious mythos. I wanted to unfurl the concept and explore what it means to overindulge in something. To be pulled to keep going back to an action or entity even knowing the result will be harm, whether you, to others or both. The susceptibility, realization and lastly, judgement is something I wanted to present with this piece and I hope I have done that. ▾▾▾
