Just watched this movie, IT'S SO GOOD. (And now I watch to do an HI using the script, all I gotta do is convince my coach to let me do HI and POI) (This man NEVER lets me try any other events. I picked POI and LD at the beginning of freshman year, and I'll probably rot in my grave with that black binder)

I only saw HI finals (My coach refused to let us go back to the convention center after thursday, and I haven't had time to watch the live stream), and the very end of info finals. My favorite humor didn't break, but I really liked the ultraman one, and the "Hot Rod" guy was funny! I REALLY liked the girl who did hers on black people in photography! Hers was really informative, and kept my attention throughout the entire speech!!

i would love to discuss the speech final rounds and results with people over dm!!!!

I was literally gonna go spectate POI finals, but my coach was more conerned with our safety, so we went to the mall & bowling instead. But I am so so so proud of you!!

yes guys im okay!! everyone on my team is safe healthy and accounted for. yesterday was definitely a terrible day and i had to push it out of my mind and pretend it didn't happen for awhile to be able to perform especially on the same stage where it happened. im very lucky to have lots of support from those around me and i hope everyone else is feeling okay.

What happened on thursday at the expo center for Speech & Debate Nationals was TERRIFYING. Like genuinely one minute me and my team was getting up to leave early, the next I was running to the nearest office building. I will NEVER forgive Jayden for what he did. Your glory days might've been in speech and debate, but that does not mean you can come back FIVE YEARS LATER and traumatize three thousand teenagers??? To the humor girl yelling run, and everyone standing up rushing their way to the exits to the point of trampling others, to hiding in the office building kids were crying, hyperventilating, and calling their parents. I will never forgive him for what he did. And to NSDA? You cannot expect a girl who was RIGHT NEXT TO THE THREAT to preform a HUMOROUS piece after that?? And also, if EVEN WITH A CELEBRITY there, your security was that low?? Fix it.

Thoughts and prayers to anyone who was at NSDA nationals this year.
