It's Wednesday! - Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton #1
It's been a bit since a post but more are on their way after some release dates slipped my mind. What hasn't slipped is the release of a new mini-series that I'm colouring with Ryan North and Mike Norton!
We're a few issues in and the pet owner in everyone is going to run into some heartbreaking moments. Mike conveys Ryan's story perfectly through a dog's eyes and I love how the dialogue pops in and out of attention thanks to the amazing work by Lucas Gattoni on letters!
There's more to come in the next few months so please keep your animal of choice nearby to pet.
(For the record, there are 2 Tabbies on this end who like to crowd the desk/chair area during work hours, eyeing the comic dog.)
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy issue #1!
Written by Ryan North, Art by Mike Norton, Letters by Lucas Gattoni, Colours by Me!
Sidenote: I have to remember to tell people I'm working on Superdog because saying 'Krypto' in person makes people think of some weird crypto project... It's not Krypto's fault, he had the name first!

The finale is here! A finale to an awesome series where I got to try new things, some old things, and team up with Jay Bone from page 1 to deliver one of my favourite miniseries I've ever coloured on!
Thanks to J. Bone and James and Jim for the incredible team and hope you check it out, whether it be in floppy form or the upcoming collected version!
Sharing some spots from the newest issues which hit the shelves Wednesday!

It's Wednesday! - Little Batman: Month One #4
(Oops, posted this a week early, it's available Feb 25th!)
Here we go, the finale to Damien's Month One! Some fights, some twists, some reveals, and a lot of rain!
(The Batman & Me pages provided by a Jon & Moo pencil crayon combo!)
This mini series was a joy to work on, had missed Merry Little Batman when it originally came out but we watched it before starting colours on this one and just got swept away in the fun. So glad it continued onto this series.
Thank you to Morgan, Jon, Lucas, Sabrina, Andrew, and Katie for the great team. Hope you check it out (and if you missed the single issues, keep an eye out for the trade later this year : D)

It's Wednesday! - Welcome to the Maynard #2
A week late but better here than never, these dates keep sneaking up on me and it's 2025?!
Happy to share the followup issue to our series debut! It's been awhile since I looked at the pages since we finished the series far ahead of it's release, still feeling really lucky to have gotten to colour with J and James on this.
The mix between chaos and quiet moments at the hotel, with a mystery weaved in, really hits the spot. I hope you'll check it out and be ready for issue 3 on Feb. 12th!

It's Wednesday! - Little Batman: Month One #1 & #2
Wow! So I missed posting the first issue when it came out this month the day after... some event... BUT I hope everyone got to see the first issue eventually.
Sharing parts of issue 1 AND 2 at the same time because the 2nd issue releases today : D
This is a continuation of the amazingly great Merry Little Batman! An alternate take on the cape crusader starring Damien Wayne as he strives to figure out who or what being Batman is all about. The movie flew under my radar when it first came out but when we caught up with it, couldn't be more happy with the film! The art, the writing, the design, the tone, it all clicks! Will be watching again at the appropriate festive time.
Morgan Evans and Jon Mikel continue all this beautifully AND mix it up while paying tribute to the original Batman: Year One comics. We added in references through layouts and palettes while balancing the look of the movie!
Also teamed up with Moo Meng again for colours, and also also for a very special collaboration with Jon's inks to capture the end pages, as drawn by 'Damien'. These are fully pencil crayoned, scanned in, and Photoshop is mostly left out of the mix colour wise. I just assembled Jon and Moo's work, laughing all the way : D
We have 2 more go in this mini series and we're really proud of what we've got so please check it out, for the 8 year old in all of us!

It's Wednesday! - Welcome to the Maynard #1 (of 4)
I've fallen behind on some posts but when that happens, it's because I'm busy with more colouring. Tomorrow sees the launch of an amazing new mini-series by James Robinson & J. Bone!
It was awhile back that we finished this first issue, and the entire series is set so we're so excited to share it finally! A magic mystery with the misadventures of a new bellhop working in the glorious Maynard hotel!
J and I spent a lot of time going over the colours to get them to their best, hit all the little Easter eggs, and add a general sense of wonder to the hotel! I can't thank him enough for his direction and chats over this series.
And here we go! I hope everyone has a chance to check it out and looking forward to sharing more!

It's Wednesday! - Masterpiece #6
Another finale? So soon! Wow : D
Masterpiece concludes today with an awesome finish, Moo and I were only a few steps ahead of the audience story-wise, reading along and were thrilled to see the conclusion (and of course be part of it!).
It got weird, heartfelt, and fun!
A few snippets of the fun palettes and scenes we got to colour, there's some amazing full illustrations by Alex interspersed throughout, the most of any of the issues I think!
Thank you Brian and Alex for the amazing ride in your world, your guidance and support made this a memorable book! Thank you Moo for being an invaluable colouring partner, thank you Joshua for the incredible lettering, thank you to all the editors at Darkhorse for keeping things running smoothly, and of course, thank you to all the readers for checking out each issue. We hope you enjoy #6!

It's Wednesday! - Minor Threats Vol. II #4
The finale of Minor Threats: The Fastest Way Down came out yesterday but it won't be the last you've seen of these characters! News is out that it's coming to Netflix : D
This volume got to build out the world like few others I've worked on. As the issues grew, we had to go back and reference our own work to keep things straight. A background character here or there, might become a central figure in a new issue, and knowing that, any one could become something bigger in future issues.
Thank you to the entire team for being a joy to work with and a thank you to all the readers for following along with the series. I can't wait to see what's next!

It's Wednesday! - Minor Threats Vol. II: The Fastest Way Down #1
Ah! We're back! After a slight detour with the Alternates, there's a new chapter beginning in Playtime's story! A 2nd 4 issue series that dives deeper into the world of Minor Threats!
Couldn't be happier with how this series is going and I always get full support from the team! Pushing some things from Vol I further, and getting to try some new colour techniques!
I won't say much more other than you should go check it out right now!
