Okay 911 fans we need to talk. Look I get it we all have our own ships and normally I'm not one to call out fans but I just can't. Can we all stop acting like Eddie Diaz is a saint? Or that his relationship with Buck is great? He is always reacting in anger towards Buck and half the time he is right to be called out. What he did in that kitchen scene in season 8 was abusive and I will fucking die on that hill. All I have seen is posts gushing about him but he's the character with the least amount of character growth. He hasn't acknowledged any of his issues, he hasn't gone to therapy consecutively which is a big issue with his character. He barely acknowledged his wrong doings and he seriously blamed Buck for not being there for Bobby when it's his own actions that caused him to have to move to Texas in the first place. Also implying he didn't do enough when he literally had Tommy steal a helicopter and fought against the US Army was honestly plain gross on Eddie's account. It's honestly a little disturbing to act like Eddie is a saint but Buck is horrible because yeah no I'm sorry I won't let anyone have that delusion. Sorry not sorry. And yes this is an Anti Eddie page.

Basically just Tommy touching Buck's chest. Thats it.

Tommy and Evan being so scared that their daughter (the second child) is so different from their son (the eldest).

Not just from sex, but because their daughter is almost three but she has been unable to speak coherently. Sometimes its one word, sometimes its no word at all, just sounds that she always makes that makes no sense. Meanwhile their eldest speak when he wasn't even two years old.

Its scary.

"Did we do something wrong?" Evan asked. He was scared. He used to think it was harder to take care of son because of both of their history as a child with their respective parents.

But seeing his daughter unable to speak, and with such a glaring experience compared to their son (which seems very smoothsailing), it feels sad.

"I don't know. But I dont think there is a problem with Navy. She can walk when she was 1 years old. And she understand what we are talking about. I think, its better we go to pediatric doctor."

"Yeah, or maybe a speaking therapist. I was doing a bit of research yesterday and I have made a reservation to meet her this afternoon."

"Alright."

My husband (44M) and I (38M) have been together for 5 years and married for 2 year now. We love each other deeply and I think nothing will change that.

However, I have been having a relationship with this new guy for about 1 year now and I think I love him more than my husband now. But I said I love him over and over again and yet he never said it back. I buy him food, clothes, gift (sometimes using my money, sometimes using my husband money) and yet he only used them for a few days before he threw it out there.

I feel like I have been doing too much for him, I just want his first word to be about me... Is it too much to ask? What should I do now?

Tommy was sleeping soundly on the couch when Buck came inside with their two years old son. He just came down from a shift, probably too tired to even stay awake until Buck came back with their groceries.

His son Quinn, upon seeing Tommy's figure, immediately scream, "DADA, DADA!"

Buck had to quickly put down the grocery bag, pick Quinn up, turned Quinn to face him, and put his finger in his mouth.

He whispered, "ssshhh, quiet okay? Dada is sleeping."

Quinn pointed at Tommy, "Dada?"

Buck nodded, "Yeah, Dada is sleeping. We quiet okay?"

Quinn nodded, though Buck was not sure if he understand it or not. However when Buck turned toward the sofa, he saw Tommy was lifting his head to squint at both of them.

"Too late," Tommy said with a rough voice. Clearly still sleepy, he moved aside to support his head with his elbow and smile.

"DADA!" Quinn wiggled around, so Buck let him down and he ran to Tommy.

Moments later Tommy pulled his son into his embrace, and started kiss attack his son's face.

"DADA, DADA, NOO!" He said while laughing.

"What is my champ doing with Papa this morning?"

"Buy, buy lots of ice cream. And, and 'ceries."

"Groceries?"

Quinn noded. "Dada, Dada, Quinn miss you."

"Awww baby, Dada miss you too."

Quinn wiggled around to come down, he ran toward Buck and pointed at the groceries bag. "Papa, Nino."

Tommy, still sleepy, forced himself to sit up and look at his family.

Buck pulled out a dinosaur figurine and gave it to his son, which he took and turned around to show to his other father.

"Dada, look, Nino."

"Well, its dinosaurs. Just like what we see on tv."

"Ninosaurs?"

Tommy chuckled. "Dinosaurs."

I think Evan would make a good storyteller actually.

Imagine him telling his and Tommy's son the story (as a bed time story) of one time where he got cursed, with all the suspense and twist coming, and then his son doesnt wanna sleep alone.

Since I keep seeing this whole Ibuprofen/Naproxen discourse being repeated over and over again by people that dont know what they are talking about, I would like to give my two cents as a licensed pharmacist.

First of all, before saying the boils is caused by allergic reaction to ibuprofen, looks up the differences between allergic hives and shingles. They are two different things that you can simply know is different if you just look at the visual symtomps. You will immediately notice if Buck's boils is caused by allergic reaction, or caused by virus/bacteria.

Second, while both being in the same drug class, both are different drugs. If you are allergic to one drug, you may or may not be allergic to the other drugs. Its all depend on your body reactions. To those who have no idea, you either go to doctor to do skin test for it (or the other allergic test that I forgot the name of), or you simply treated all the other stuff that has relation to your allergen as another allergen. One may be allergic to shrimp, but not fish, but they will say they are allergic to all seafood because testing it is inconvenient in some cases. Like if you are allergic to something, you will avoid that, or if you don't, that means you got knowledge that you are not allergic to that.

Third, as you can see from my explanation above, this show has a very surface level knowledge about these drugs and allergic stuffs. So if you try to dig deeper into this by looking and accusing it with your own also surface level knowledge, you will look stupid and ridiculous instead. Why?Bullshiting your way around someone who knew the subject will not work. Try telling an astronaut that the earth is flat, or telling medical staff that vaccine is dangerous.

Even I think its a waste of time to look into the whole discourse because its like looking at an elementary student speaking like they knew pharmacotherapy. Clown speaking nonsense.

First respondent/firefighter themselves has to suspend their disbelief (or even stopped watching because its not realistic). You think they want to think deep about something they throw out in one scene and most likely forget about?

Be for real, this show is not that deep 🙂. Its not the Pitt that tried to stay faithful to the reality 😂 911 is there to entertain general audiences.

Disclaimer: I got my pharmacy bachelor degree in 2020 and did one year of professional study to get my pharmacist degree. Very fun stuff here, because you can work as clinical pharmacist, industrial pharmacist, FDA Inspectors, herbal medicine consultant, professor, etc etc...

I honestly think Buck's closeted grief will barely be shown in the beginning. While its becoming the main focus of his arc, we will not be shown the focus of it from him too much. Hm... Take 817 as example of us not shown enough of it.

Seeing him and Athena in the bts leaks, there was a chance he will opened up to her, probably passing some stuff about his feeling or maybe Athena asking it from him. We should get a bit of encouragement or maybe something else that helped Buck 🤔

Regarding his relationship with Tommy. My bet should be around 904 or 905 is where we will finally see them interact. No idea how its gonna go, maybe Buck drinking alone again, or something else... But whatever it is, I will take it 😂

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy laughs, spraying cold water from the garden hose in Evan’s direction.

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy checks, holding up the spice-mix he bought for the new recipe Evan wants to try.

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy gasps, teeth grazing along Evan’s neck, quickly pushing his boxers out of the way.

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy frowns, carefully dabbing ointment on the scratches along Evan’s forearm.

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy whispers before he kisses Evan on a picnic blanket underneath the stars.

“Is this what you wanted?” Tommy asks the image in the mirror once Evan is no longer part of his life.

I love to think that Buck and Tommy, being the first time parents, is worried about their first child, a son, so they always keep him in their room when they got time to sleep together, and then he migrated to their bed to sleep with him

All until he was 4 years old and they realized they have a perfectly free bedroom and they can let their son go to sleep in his own room...

So they praised Quinn (their son name) for being a big boy now, for being so cool and brave and big and handsome and strong and all that (in Buck's hyping up voice)

And imagine 4 years old Quinn is so happy because he is 4 and he is a big boy now and he can finally has his own room and bed...

And then he realized he can't hug or get hug by his parents to sleep anymore.

But he is a big boy so he must not be sad because he is brave and strong like Papa (Buck) said. So Quinn went to sleep with quivering lips, while listening to Daddy's soothing voice reading him bed time story about Superman Flying and saving people, Yay!

And then he woke up at 12 am, heart beats so loudly, hands is shaking from the dark, and he cried silently as he gets off the bed, walk to his parent bed room and then called out Daddy, Papa, silently, and he opened the door to see his Daddy raising his head to look at him.

And then

"WAAAAAAA, DADDDYYYY, QUINN NOT BIG KID. *HICCUP* QUINN WANTS TTO STAY SMALL. QUINN SCARED. PAPAAA. QUINN WANT TO SLEEP HERE. *HICKS, HICKS*"

He said as he ran and jumped to his daddy's hug. Then he just cried loudly, as if he suffered from the cruelest injustice ever. He cried until he can't breath. He cried until he was coughing...

And he cried until he was sleeping.

Buck and Tommy, watching the whole process, can't help but smile and shaking their head a little.

"Well this is our fault."

"Yeah it is."

But Tommy hoist his son up, let his head lulled on his shoulder, rubbed his back, and whispering little ssshhhh to keep his son asleep.

"I'll take him back to his room," Said Tommy.

"I'll go with you."

So they both went, they both put him to bed, kiss his head and went back to their room.

"We gotta wake up early. Make sure we are there when he opened his eyes."

"And praised him so high like I did last night?" Buck asked with a confirming tone.

"Obviously."

"You gotta put more effort hubby. Can't let your effort last only when flirting with me."

"Okay, okay, I am guilty. Lets get back to sleep."
