Ending with the very climax of the level with a brutally vicious boss fight, and and bombshell after bombshell of lore drops & character moments.

And don't forget making friends with a literal towering creature that looks harrowing on the outside, but turns out to be a big ol' softie on the inside.

I am here in the void asking if it's wrong of me to say that I...never really cared for this ship? Idk, young me & me now was never really..interested in Flippy in the first place, and...idk. I just never saw these two as a thing.

So, I may as well share the whole reason why I got the Star from Wish as Sora's companion.

Controversial opinion, but...I kinda do prefer the smol...I guess marketable plushie version of Star more than the Starboy. And...I kinda wanted him to be Sora's companion alongside Donald & Goofy.

This is...a work in progress, because even my writing is a work in progress. Star crashed down Destiny Islands on the night of the storm, and helps serve as that one light that guides Sora to the Keyblade, the light that shines through the darkness.

What I thought up was the idea of Starboy created by Yen Sid to find they Keyblade's chosen, I.E, Sora & guide her, Donald, and Goofy to their rightful path. A light that SDG will never stray from.

At work, I thought up the concept of Sora being...somewhat a Fairy Godmother, and the idea of Star sensing within people's hearts their greatest desires, their dreams...their Wishes.. And Sora, the Keyblade's chosen, despite having one goal, to find Riku & Kairi, will never give up on the chance at helping people find & achieve their dreams.

It's kind of synonymous with how Sora in the game would never pass up on the chance to help those in need & make friends so easily.

Anyway, this has been my ramblings from the void, and...definitely a work in progress like...many of my story work. The commissioned art above with Sora & Star's made by Morghan Gill on Bluesky/Instagram. Her art is good. Highly recommend.

I kinda wanna bring this back for a sec, because I was replaying Birth by Sleep...and Pete's height just...astonishes me. Look at him.

SPOILERS FOR THE RECENT EPISODE

IMA BE REAL, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS THEORY TO ACTUALLY BE TRUE, WTF?!

Cracked Monkey's Paw theory that people probably already thought up, and most likely going to happen, either way.

Ahem....

Everyone's freaking out on how Caine killed Gummigoo, but in truth, I simply think Gummigoo's alive. Caine didn't kill him, he simply teleported him back to the Candy Kingdom.

All's well, and all is calm....

...

...

Of course there's simply a chance that Caine simply rebooted his memories so he wouldn't know about the Digital Circus.

So everything he's been through off the map, him & Pomni's bond? Completely erased, making him go back to his clean NPC slate.

Pomni will return to the Candy Kingdom only to find Gummigoo not even knowing who she is.

And having no idea how to go back off the map, or Caine patching out the map as if it was a bugfix, her newfound friend...gone.
