Adelaide loves to write sappy love letters. Like, loves to. Her writing is very “floral” I’d say. Embellishing her writing with lots of pretty words. Never the less, it always leaves her reader blushing.

Give my girl those kisses // @hopelessviolinist
It was rare that the two were able to have their moments. Her beloved pirate, always out at sea. Claiming things for his own and living his devil-may-care life. Meanwhile she was stuck in Versailles where everyone could keep an eye on her. On the bright side, the new girl, the Austrichienne, seemed to provide enough of a distraction.
That’s why she’d cherish any and every moment with her beloved. The woman bouncing with excitement inside her carriage, counting the hours until she’d get to St Malo. The trip had cost her a minor fortune, needing to pay off people to not report her whereabouts. But it was worth it. Oh was it worth it. Four days of travel to spend a week with a man who drove her wild.
Entering the town Adelaide ran. Turning streets and finally finding the door. Her designated safe spot. Lightly she tapped on the door, and quickly it was swung open, Adelaide being pulled even quicker into an embrace, lips crashing into hers.
He smelt like the sea and sweat, and nothing at all like the French courts. She was home for a week, and craved to enjoy every moment of it. Her arms wrapping around him as they wandered in, the door closing behind them. And in that very moment, where her lips met with his for the first time in months,Adelaide felt at home.
Adelaide, while she does have a license, prefers transporting places without cars. Whether it be her bicycle, the metro, or a bus, she will find a way to her location.

She knew he meant well. He was one of the hardest working men she knew, certainly putting a lot on his plate. That’s what happens though and soon he wouldn’t even have the help of the rest of the EU. It was going to be a hard time for him, but he’d persevere. She knew he would.
“Now I would never scold you, you know that,” she took her seat, crossing her legs and reaching for a croissant with one hand while pouring her tea with the other. “I know damn well jus’que hard it is in today’s age to live. Even our fairly priveledged lives have been reaching struggle. Everywhere is falling apart,” a ruby lower lip turned into a pout, the woman taking a sip of the floral drink. It was no doubt she loved her teas rosey.
Relaxing back Adelaide stared off at a wall. The home had always had so many figments from history leaning around. Her eyes fixated on the minibar, an aged bottle of rum on it’s counter. How had the two gone from grand adventures out at sea or the beauty of palaces to this? Sitting at the breakfast table discussing the importance of keeping work at work and home at home. It seemed almost incorrect, like figuring out what someone’s parents were like before kids. That things used to be fun, and suddenly they became drab, monotone and repetitive. She loved her routine, but her past was speaking to her, the vagabond who demanded to explore. Eyes darting back to her beloved as a thought came to her. Watching as he so carefully seemed to be trying not to do much other than eat.
“We should leave the country for a bit. Not too long, but just go on an adventure. Pack our bags and choose a random method of transportation out of here. Boat, train... je ne sais pas. Jusque go,” her hand fluttered on, accentuating her words, the croissant waving about with her actions. “Anywhere the wind blows.”
Adelaide / * NYO! France:
Eyes glanced over the table, papers sprawled over it. This was going to be a rough day, wouldn’t it? Was the Commonwealth acting up again? Those countries were always doing something. With a soft hum she put the pastries in the middle and picked up a paper at random with a finely manicured hand, the other digging into Arthur’s hair, playing with it mindlessly.
“Mon Chou. It’s breakfast time, can this not wait un moment? Tu connais, en France ” she put the paper down, “we strongly recommend you not work at home. For the good health you know?”
Wrapping his arms around her waist, he placed his chin atop her shoulder. Curious at what paper had she picked but soon frowning upon realizing it was one speaking about stadistics regarding the economy. Truth be told, Arthur missed dearly being out in the sea, CAUSING HAVOC. To have a free choice and will in the sea where no such thing as a ruler existed.
“Good health,” he muttered before letting a heavy sigh escape between his lips and RELUCTANTLY letting go off her, steps making their way towards the table and organizing all papers before allowing himself to relax. “Aye, Ah ken, I heard of th’t in the past too, love. I want to finish all of this soon so I get more time to relax but breakfast ‘s the most important meal in the day.”
Once he managed to organize half of the papers and neatly saved them in different folders according to each category and topic, he decided to take seat. Elbow resting on the table, cheek against his palm whilst a tired smile adorned his visage. “I’ll try not to work when I know I’ll get scolded.”
