I drank to numb the pain, like everyone else, but I didn't deny it. I knew why I was drinking. I knew that I was coward, but somehow,  I was okay with that... I didn't fight it. I didn't care, I just wanted the pain to go away.

I’ll let down my guard for you one more time,“ he says. “How can you?” She asks. “Isn’t that what love is,” he says, “over time you change the door, but it’s still the same lock in hopes that one day, the one with the key would come back.

What do you miss the most about us?“ She ask. He pauses. “Everything,” he says. He whispers. “Everything.

And you wonder why birds stay in the same spot—and I wonder why you don’t give love another try.

Things have changed, I look up to the night sky and see sadness where I once used to see hope.

I had so much rage in me.
I hated life and every one in it.
I hated the morning sun,
and my neighbor.
But I liked her.
I like her very much.

What a strange thing love was, it woke me up in the middle of the night smiling.

She had a soul like a child, you know, she had this euphoric smile. She would find beauty in the most erratic places. A girl in love with life, and I— I can’t touch someone like that, not with this madness.

He got used to walking alone,
eating alone.
He would see a group of people,
joking, laughing, smiling.
He wondered how the hell did his life became so lonely.
He had that once... friends, and smiles, and joy in his heart.
He kept walking, with no direction.
His only hope was to find something better than this crappy life.
