GLORIA ALLRED : SEEING ALLRED

Hello everybody! Today my blog is about this documentary about the life of the feminist Gloria Allred.

Her testimonys are broadcast on TV so it create a movement of women telling their story. She want to show to the women in America that if they talk, their rapist will be sued and go in jail. She want to make evolved the mentality around sexual assault and the rape culture.

She is a famous lawyer in the US, known because she was on TV shiws in her youth and now because she helps women by defending them with the law. She is fighting everyday of her life for women's rights and enforce them. She is brave and use the media to pass on her massage. In the documentary, they talk about a case with a men which is famous and has raped many women. He is not punished and she harvest testimony of women and publish them so the people in US can react and oblige the government to punish this man.

Thanks to her, we can think that America is going to take more and more seriously rape case and that all the countries around the world will follow it.

Internet and Social networks

Today, social network and internet in general are really present. We use them on a daily basis and sometime without noticing. It’s has become an habit to use internet and all the services which are linked to it. It take a major place in our society and it will continued his expension in all the country that are less connected and internet is going to be way more easier to access.  The technology never stop to grow and we discover more way to use internet with for exemple the connected houses which are control by smartphone. We can think of a city named Songdo in south Korea which totally connected with internet. It’s a city where everything is count collected in multiple server. It can be scary because if someone cyber attack the city, he can block all the population in their houses. This evolution of technology need protection and people are already creating software to protect that kind of unique city that are coming to be usual in the future. The social network are also use to spread love and information all over the world. When we saw something happening in the world and the news at tv don’t talk about it we can do it ourselves on internet. Bu with all those information we must pay attention to our sources because we can use logiciel to modifie an information and make it say what ever we want. Internet is bad for that because a lot of things can be fake and it’s hard to know when it is. So it’s important to educate about this and aware people about the danger of this digital world.

The evolution of feminism in Disney animation movie.

Hello! Today i'm going to talk about the evolution of feminism through the Disney movie!

To begin we can all agree on the fact that the first movies of Disney are sexist, first because they are an adaptation of a old story. But anyway Disney choose to keep sexism in their movies. We can think about the snow white who comes in a house and the first thing she do is cleaning the entire house, singing with the birds and be joyful and beautyful. It's the stereotypes of what a woman should do. With the men who come from work and are so tired, put their feet under the table and the diner is ready.

Way after this movie, Disney adapt Cindriella. We can think that there is less sexism in this movie than the last one. But he is represent in a different way. We can take the exemple of the step mother. She own a castle and is an image of a strong women. But she is evil with Cindriella and treat her with no respect. It's also implied that she killed her husband to get this castle for her. She is created to be hated and to represent the danger of woman when she get a little bit of power. It show that they are manipulative and dangerous for the poor men who just want a lovely wife. In this movie. In this movie we are compelled to see our self through Cindriella, the sweet and mistreated princess who is saved by a strong men. It show also to the boy a model of toxic masculity, the prince show that you must be strong and save the girl in distress.

For the next movie i'm going to talk about the black Cauldron. The main character of the film is a boy named Taran and a girl named Princess Elionwy. We can find a little bit of feminism in it because the girl is very smart and fight for her self. It's not perfect at all, the boy is always the one who save everyone. But with this girl who in the movie critic the position of the girl who needs help, and want to proove that she don't need a men (plot twist, at the end she need a man). We can see that the Disney film evolved a bit.

We are going to do a big step in time and talk about Frozen. It's a movie where the prince is like the stepmother of Cindriella, and were the love of two sister is promote and not the fake love of prince that you just meet (they joke a lot about this thing in the movie). It also show a woman with politic power and being strong but not malefic. It give an image positiv and empowering of woman to the young girl to show them that they are not obliged to do the cleaning but they can be important in the society. I think it's a great image of the woman that is given and Disney really improved in feminism. I hope that we are going to get more movies like that in the future.

The Machu Picchu.

Hi! Today, my blog is about the machu picchu wich is in Pérou. It's on a high mountain.

It's a very cool place. It has taking 50 years to be build and it was a residence for the empire. It has resisted to a lot of earthquake because it's build only with rock and not any ciment so the rocks can move. It's the inca architecture. We know that the persons who were living at this town were rich because archeologist have found traces of corn in there teeth and bons and that type of food was rare and expensive at this time. This construction is a masterpiece, the inca were not having any wheel so the rocks that were used where the rocks of the mountain where they were. They invented a thing under the ground to make the mater go away of the mountain to not destroy the houses.

A couple of years ago we find out an other part of the city wich was covered by plants and trees. The city was abandon after the spanish came and the inca died of the illness. The entire city had been covered by the nature until we refind it.

The city had a certain type of technology to get the water out and in the architectural way. That is an empresiv city and I really would like to go visit it.

Cultural appropriation

Hello dear! Today we are going to talk about cultural appropriation!

I think that's an important topic in our days because the world is globalised so all the culture are export through the world and there can be such problems with that.

Cultural appropriation it's when you take an object or a beauty thing of a culture that is not yours and you use it without knowing anything about it. For exemple, we can take Kim Kardashian who had launched an underwear collection called "kimono". But those underwear had nothing in common with the Japanese kimono. She just take this word because it sounds Japanese and it's exotic. That's bad because she denigrates the Japanese culture and a history behind that word. That's an exemple among many others.

Maybe it's not that bad to take a word for an underwear that originally was for traditional clothe. Yes, you are right, but let's take an other exemple. If we think about the African plait. A lot of girls wear them but when it's a person which is not colored as black, it can be a case of cultural appropriation. Let me explain, those prait were made by the slaves in the colonies as a map of the field were they were working. For black communities, wearing those prait is a way to remember of this time and it's not correct when for exemple a white person wear them as if it's just a cool thing to do with your hair. With the time it's more accepted that everyone can wear those if they take care to learn more about their history.

I saw a girl who was saying that, there will be no cultural appropriation if in the world all the culture wear egal and respected. If there were an exchange between the two culture and not just one taking things to the other. And I think she is right.

Is music a political power?

Hello! Today I'm going to talk about music! And more precisely about the political aspect.

I think that music is a form of power because it's a form of art that is understending by people. There is music everywhere and it's simple to listen to music.

Some of the artist who produce songs are envolved in causes and say it in their songs. We know a lot of music like the revolution songs. It's obvious that it's about politics and people manifest their anger with it. Those music can be to go to a demonstration with slogan in it to fight against the government. In our days a lot of music are politics because the artist denounce the injustice they are victim of injustice like racism, sexism, and all those things. The young adult of the world are shocked by all the bad things that happens in the world. With internet everybody is connected to everybody. We can feel concerned by a lot of event. The music is a big part if our society, everyone listen to music so with this both things, le music must be political sometimes.

And it can have an impact. If a music convince a lot of fans to fight for a cause, they are going to do a lot to realise what their goals. They are encourage by those songs. We can think about the famous song "Bella Ciao" which was made to encourage the resistance to fight against the government of Mussolini. It's just an exemple with a lot of others.

We can denied that music have a political aspect.

Rape and sexual assault in India

Hi! , welcome back! Subject of today is about the rape and sexuel assault in India. I have watch a video on youtube talking of that and it really interrest me.

First of all, you need to know that in India, there is a lot of sexism. Women rights are not respected. They are treated as object, they are often killed at birth because of the dowry. In india there is more men than women because of that. Certain feminism mouvement say that there is 50 million of women missing. The girls can be married at 12 years old with men who 2 or 3 time older then them. In addition, when girls or women are raped or sexually assaulted the justice don't do all the necessary things to sue those criminel. The fault of those are giving to the victim. They think that it's her fault.

Some group of girls activist try to change this. Like the red brigade. They are a groupe of women (most of them are rape survivors) and they pay attention to case to go with the victim protest. If the victim is a teenager of a child, they help her to survive to it, handydle the case and help her with her education. In the video they talk about a case of a 10 years old girl, rape two times by 7 men and 3 were policemen. How can you expect tu sue those men and be helped by the government's forces if they are the person who did that to you? They make protest about this to do laws to protect women. But when a lot of the men in government are accused of rape and sexual assault, you can be sure they will not make laws to put themselves in jail.

Those group of women are so important! The aware the population to change minds and make a better future for their daughter!

I really hope that one day they will win and India will evolved.

The drug.

Hi! Today's topics is drugs! I'm going to talk about what is the travel of different drugs all over the world! There is a lot of exchanges of drugs in the world and it's so interesting!

So let's begin!

The first drug that i'm going to talk about is cannabis. This is the drug the most sell and consum in the world. The first biggest country to produce this plant is Moraco. And the second one is mongolia. Moraco send his plantation to Europe and the country in Africa. While Mongolia send canabis in the others continent. They are not the only country to make grow canabis but they are the greats one. In Europe it's 63% of the population that have consum drugs who have try or smoke everyday cannabis. In Asia it's 55% of the population, in North America it's 59%, in south America it's 72% and in Africa it's 80%, don't need to tell you how much it's dangerous and how bad it is on your health. Don't do drugs!

Now let's talk about cocaïna. You know that cocaïna is made with cola leaves. Those leaves are cultivated mostly in Colombia. And they are transform in to powder in the country near to the plantation. I guess you heard about Pablo Escobar! The baron og cocaïna in colombia! Such an incon in this industry! Anyway! The secound country to have plantation of coca leaves is the Perou. The marchandise is send to America, to Europe and also to Europe but trough Africa. People in the world don't use as much cocaïna as cannabis. That is great obviously! The globalisation really help for the drugs and the mafia in anyway.

After there is opium! You know! The drugs that english give to chinese people to make them addict and control the contry! Plot twist it don't work! And now that's in Asia that we have the biggest trader of opium. This is massively make in Afghanistan and secound one in Birmania. The drug is send to north America and Europe. In this case I only talk about the illegal opium and not the opium in medication that is legal and limited by laws.

Do you have notice? The drug is always send in the rich country who go over the world. That's the capitalism! Yeaah! The drug is send in the country were the people have the biggest power to buy and have the chance to drug themselves. In case you don't know, drugs are expensive and it cost a lot to be addicted. So only rich people can afford to. That's why the direction of the drugs are to the North. The developing country begin with drugs because some of the population began to have money. Also for certain country, drugs are part of the culture like in Africa. The reason to use drugs is really different in the differents country and I think it's really interesting.

The mythic Dora

You all know dora the explorer who teach us our fisrt words in english (or in spanish if you were watching it in english). She was the incredible girl with boots (babouche) who were conquering the world! And they were fighting during there aventures agaisnt swiper (chiper). Dora was a strong woman, she was my role model when I was young!

I was a lot inspire by her! I remember having a sweet with Dora on and I never could take him away! I was doing aventures in my garden! My sister was boots because she is like a monkey in her everyday life. Dora is my childhood!

I think in a way she gave me the curiosity of discovering the world! Like her I want to go in a lot of different places, discover new things and new people! She influenced me everyday! Yes she's not real, but she live in my heart you know? Her character will always be with me!

I have been watching the film of Dora few month ago, and i loved it! There is no age to love Dora! I grew up with Dora and she will always be a part of me! She had influenced so many other young like me. Yes she is not at the united Nation making a speech, she didn't have an enterprise of technology that revolutionises the world. But you know what? It doen't matter, I love her anyway and she had teach me so much that I can't forget. That have no price.

BTS, success but trouble

Hi! Welcome back for a new year! Today topic is BTS. I'm going to talk about their carrer and the problems they had in the past and the problems they have today!

To begin, BTS is a groupe of Kpop (they sing in korean that's what it means). That have been 7 years they are together. And they are a model for a lot of persons!

Everything begin 2012, the groupe of boys is created in a agence which is new. They are training during one year and the 13 June 2013 they make their debuts whith the MV (music video) "no more dream". The teenagers fall in love with them and their message. A year later, they are close to disband because of the lack of money . But they are determined and they succeed with a new album: "skool luv affair". They have more fans and support. But it's definitely not the end. They have made in 2016 an album untilted: "The most beautiful moment in life: young forever" (there are album before but they did make a impact like this one) . And this one make a huge difference! They became known in the world! It's the first waves of BTS. They win a lit of price in Korea, they go on a world tour (first concert of kpop in France) for the Kcon (big event in the universe of kpop with a lot of concert). After that they had lot of price in Korea and do tour in Asia and a little in America. After the album "Wings" they make record on record with the number of views on YouTube of their MV! The get a lot of fame and the world really discovered BTS.

But the number of views on YouTube or the number of sell of the albums is not everything of the successful carrer. BTS is inspiring a lot of person all over the world! They are synonym of hope, joy and self love. They have realize the project "lovemyself" which is a serie of album ( "lovemyself: her" "lovemyself: Tear" and "lovemyself: Answer") where they sing about loving ourselves. Accepting who we are.

After that they made a speech to the Union Nation in collaboration with Unicef extolling self-love and to aware and stop the violence against the teenagers and the person who are judge as differents. There are an extract of the speech which is I think beautiful: "Tell me your story. I want to hear your voice, and I want to hear your conviction. No matter who you are, where you’re from, your skin colour, gender identity: speak yourself.". This speech have making a hashtag which is "speakyourself". And on all the socialnetwork there were people telling there story. With all of this, they have making a charity campaign with unicef on the same topic and give a lot of money. It's not a commercial campaign for the group, they are fighting for the young people. The name of the group in korean (bangtan sonyeondan) means "bulletproof boys". They are the bulletproof vest of the young generation to protect them of the violence.

But, whatever they are really successful, they have troubles eventoday. There is a scandal with mtv in england. They have an contest every year with differents category. This year, they have created and category that is "kpop". It's interpret as racist because they separed the music from Korea from all the music of the other country. BTS is only nominated in this category (one category is great but not when it is racist). And it was totally possible that they have been nominated in others category like "the most popular music video" because BTS break the number of views in 24 hour (74,5 millions views).

But despite this, they never complain and are always humble.

I'm proud to be a fan of this group.

Today, they are known everywhere, they are compared as the beatles (because they are foreigners group who explose all the record in america and in the world). BTS have making concert in stade all over the world. They gave hope of all the young who are in difficulties. They help so many people with their music.

Isn't it the meaning of a successful career?

Do NOT Support ‘Adam’ When The Film Comes Out

I’ve talked about this before on this blog but this is the most disgustingly transphobic and lesbophobic narrative I’ve ever come across.

The book Adam by Ariel Schrag is being turned into a movie which has been named as one of the most exciting LGBTQ films of the year. You should know before watching that the book is about a cis boy who pretends to be a trans man in order to persuade lesbians to sleep with him.

Yeah… you read that right.

Book plot summary: 

boy spies on his lesbian sister having sex

boy decides to pretend to be a trans man (gross)

i.e. pretends to have a vagina because he thinks lesbians will want him then (he literally wants to fuck lesbians because he watched his lesbian sister have sex wtf)

he does get a lesbian to sleep with him, he straps his penis down using ace bandages and uses a strap on.

all the actual trans dudes we meet identify as lesbians this basically implies that trans men are not real men (lesbians i.e. women)  

another time they have sex again only he uses his actual penis but tells her its a strap on. that’s literally rape, she didn’t consent to an actual penis.

he confesses that he’s been lying to her this whole time but she doesn’t break up with him. she even says its okay cause she fantasised about him being “a real boy"

that’s a direct quote. massive transphobia. huge. not to mention this is now the “lesbian is cured by dick trope” which is disgusting and that trope leads to real lesbians and bi women being raped to “fix” them. 

he leaves new york, they’re long distance. they get in an argument and he calls her a slut and a whore among other things and then she dumps him

eventually they get back in touch and she has a new cis boyfriend so yep, she’s been “cured” woo she’s actually straight and he helped her realise that yay (massive sarcasm)

It is deeply deeply transphobic. To imply that our identities are just costumes for other people to put on erases who we are as people. More than that, to imply it is done to trick people into sex is a dangerous lie that literally gets us killed.

It is also deeply lesbophobic. To fuel this narrative that lesbians can be “fixed” by having sex with a man leads to real corrective rapes happening. 

Here is a review of the book by a trans man. I have yet to find one by a lesbian but will edit this if I do.

This book gives out incredibly harmful notions about trans men and lesbians that are used to hurt them in real life. It’s so entrenched in the narrative that I don’t see how the film can possibly be any better.

I do not say any of this lightly. it’s very very rare for me to call out a piece of fiction or for me to decide that a story is unfixable. But this… there’s no excuse for the bigotry in this. 

I’d like to tell people to boycott it but I can’t tell you what to do. So instead I’m going to ask that you share this because it being named as an exciting new LGBTQ film is going to make LGBTQ teens want to see it. And they should know beforehand how hurtful it could be. They should be able to arm themselves with that knowledge.

Don’t make queer kids see this film believing it will represent them only to be exposed to this hatred of their identities.

My laziness

Hi! Today my blog is about my laziness. I want to do this blog but I'm tired, I have no idea, my brain is broken. So why can't I do this blog about my laziness!

I'm a bit lazy in my life. I'm really tired but I sleep all the night! I'm not model student, I don't do often my homework because I'm lazy! Please miss be cool with! I try to do all I can but I have trouble to concentrate on what I do. I make pauses every time! But some luck day, I manage to concentrate le during long time! I think I'm lazy but not all the time. I don't try my best I know, I admit it. But we do a lot at school, it's normal if at the end of the day I'm tired! No?

Fortunately, I have my friends who help me! They send me message saying “Do your homework!” “We have a test tomorrow maybe you should do something” and I do something!

Ô my dear friends, I'm happy you are in my life! One because you are a little bit funny, and two because without you I would always be in first year of high school! (I love you my girl kiss on your highlight)

The dance

Hey! How are you?! Today my blog is about the dance! Little disclaimer, I do neo classic and cabaret not break dance or hip hop! On this text I will talk about since when I do, where I do and why I love it!

First of all, I do neo classic and cabaret, this is two styles of dances different! Neo classic it's a mix oh ballet classic and contemporary dance, contrary to cabaret which all the dance to the Moulin rouge if you know what it is. At cabaret for exemple we dance Charleston!

I begin dance last year and I was doing only neo classic. I was in a group of 5 person and that was great we make a spectacle to the theater! I love being on the stage and dance!

I do dance in dance in the city where I live: Narbonne. It's the studio Attitude and they are really nice and I love them.

I like dance because with our body we make a story beautifully and we express feelings! We make friends and this so cool! We also are tortured. No later then last night, I was doing the peaks, you know when we walk on the tip of the foot! I was dying! My calves was on fire and I discovered a new sinew! I need more training!

Clothes

Hi! Today I'm talking about clothes. Because no one seems to notice that, for the person who are tubby, this is difficult to find clothes that go to us. And I think it's important to talk about it.

Yes being fat is not good for health, but at a certain level it's this dangerous. The society want that all the woman are small. But sorry, we aren't all the same! Some people can lost a lot of weight, their body shape are not going to change. If a woman have naturally wide hips, she need a jeans larger than 38. According to European polls, most of the woman do a 42. Not anyone can where jeans in 36 which the perfect size if we heard people. In a lot of shop, we have size like “S,M,L..” that correspond to “small, medium, large..”. Do you know that in many shop and website, there is only this 3 size sometimes there is less. And the S correspond to a 34, the M to a 36 and the L to a 38. How can do the  most of the féminin population to where clothes?

Fortunately, some shop make more size for all the woman. But that goes to 42, maybe 44 and rarely to 46. There not enough size and choice! In the shop okay they have some 46, but not a lot of clothes are in 46. This is a little range where there is 4 or 5 clothes. Sure, by going in a lot of shop which have 4 or 5 clothes in a “big” size we can have some things in our cupboard. But we need to do more.

I wear clothes in big size I'm not ashamed to talk about it, and in the fact that I'm concerned by this problem, I want to make things change. Yes I'm fat but I love me like this, why the society doesn't want to accept my self-love? The industry make an image of a woman who is small. But I'm not like this and what ever! I don't want to be like the society wants me to be. Nobody need to do a 36 to have a perfect body. All this pressure make girls having eating disorders. And this is not cool. This is a real problem in our society, the acceptation of the other. If someone is a little bit different we are like “oh! He is different! Throw him stones!”. This is such idiot!

The society need to evolue. That slowly change, some brand choose the use Mannequin who are a chubby! And they are beautiful and that show that all the women are beautiful!

The religion

Hi! How are you? Today, I will talk about my relation with religion, what I think about et cetera.

First of all, I want to say that I believe in God. But not in the religion vision. I think there is a person or a thing, a power that exceeds us. I want to believe that we are not a random mutation sequence. I hope there is something which choose what's happening. We have already discover a lot of things that before, we were thinking this is impossible! Why God can't exist?

Also, I not believe in religion. I think we invented religion go create a law that crossing the borders! It was a long time ago, and at this time, people needed rules which was incontestable. I think the religion is made for create a habitudes of life and an ideology. They change tout one religion to another.

A thing that I also dislike in religion is their conservative spirit. They don't want to change their rules because they are old and lake by “God”. Who say that was the rules? A human! Have you ever meet someone who can tell “yes this is the real rules God said it to me yesterday”. No one! Because that doesn't exist. For example, all the religion thinks that the woman is here to give life, do the housework, be beautiful and raise children. And the man in this story is the most important, he is strong, he work for his family, he has all the right on his woman and on his children. In spite of this, I don't think that God made the human with their intelligence only for doing children and that's all! I think God created the human race for make something different of the animals. We build collosals buildings, we created medicine to treat us regardless of the injury. Is there one animal in being able? I don't think, that say that we are not here to bully us but for creating more, for discovering more and for understanding more of the world all around us.

The environment

Hi! Today i'm going to talk about the environment which is a very important things in our century.

The environment is on danger because of us. We use a lot of production which destroy the environment and pollute. But the view of this fact is very différent.

For exemple, if I take Donald Trump. He thinks the global warming is an invention of China and Europa for him to lose money. According to this, he thinks that the China want to be more rich than US and the Europa help them. But, this is totally false! The earth is in danger and we need to change our life habitudes. Use less plastic, paper, oil, coal and all this things which are toxic.

This is simple to do, the recycling do a lot. The paper recycling is use to do cardboard and anothers paper si why can't we do it? I know what you think! “If I'm thé one who not do it, this is not serious. I don't have to do it”. But if a lot of person think like you and nobody do it at the end. So try!

Also, the country who want to be ecology need to do things which cost more than not ecology things. We understand why it's difficult, but money isn't use if we don't have earth you know. For a better futur, this is important to give more money and survive.
