with her head in your lap, leaving soft snoring sounds which made you giggle as you carefully carressed her horns. she was really sensitive there and jumped a bit once in a while as you when you traced along the patterns on them. 

however, she trusted you to do so and that was the most precious thing you carried with you.

you looked up to your boyfriends face as he softly squeezed your hand. you were currently out with some friends of yours you hadnt seen in a long time. all of you to enjoy it so far, however chongyuns social battery seemed to have run out.

with pleading eyes he looks at you. "can we go home please?.. i want to be alone with you", he whispered into your ear. "of course, baby", and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

after saying goodbye to your friends and arriving at home, he still didnt seem to calm down. "do you want me to bring you a popsicle?“, you asked him with a worried look on your face, "maybe it helps you calm down?". he only shook his head and put his hands on both sides of your hips, pulling you closer. you could feel blood shooting up your cheeks, coloring them in a beautiful shade of red.

his lips slowly went closer and closer towards your neck, kissing it softly upwards. as you felt his lips on your ear, you heard him whisper a low "you drive me crazy, y/n..".

slowly you took a few steps back, trying to understand whats going on with him, but he only kept following your steps until you were trapped between him and the wall.

"where are you going, love?", he cooed at you, holding your chin between his thumb and index finger. taking every feature of him in, you got closer and closer. as the air got heavier, he slowly placed his lips on top of yours, taking in your scent.

you slowly caught your breath again as you leaned against a tree. you felt the sweat dripping down your back, however xiao on the other side only let out a sigh. you were currently training to fight with him, he couldnt always protect you and you both knew that, so he had the brilliant idea to train you on how to fight. "it couldnt hurt" you thought to yourself, but it did, you were way too exhausted for another round.

"are you already out of breath?", xiao let out a laugh. "no,no.. im completely alright" "mmm sure", he said and kneeled down to be on one eye level with you. you looked him in the eyes as he brushed a strand of your hair behind your ear. "how about we stop for today and go for a walk together?", he asked you with a slight concerned face. a sly smile formed on your lips as you nodded and stood up with his help.

as he took your hand and intertwined your fingers you kissed the back of his hand. "i love you, y/n", he whispered, sending shivers down your spine. "and i want you to be safe okay?", you knew how much he cared for you, from the moment youve met him. he still has the same loving face on his look as when you two first met.

you slung your arms around him and nuzzled your face into the crook of his neck. his smell was mesmerizing you as he pressed your further against his chest. "i love you too, xiao", his eyes were sparkling as soon as you said those magical words. you were the happiest person in whole teyvat and you couldnt imagine spending this moment with anyone else.

He always felt selfish, almost guilty for having someone as caring, loving and understanding as you..It was foolish really but with you by his side, he felt alive once again..the weight of his karma solwly fading from him as he let himself go in your embrace.

But of course, just because you met the person that you'd call your soulmate doesn't mean you can just let go of the past like it never mattered..Memories always return to haunt you and even as an adepti, one can't escape remorse, pain or suffering..

Small arguments happen between the two of you quite often due to how opposite you two could act, yet it was never this violent..

As your hoarse voice from all the yelling came out in a broken sob, he stopped in his tracks..He could handle only so much and seeing you hurting just because of him made his heart clench..so he simply left the room, or the whole inn..You couldn't feel his presence anymore around you.

You stared at the wall infront of you, breathing harsh and short sobs breaking the silence of it all.

You slowly walked up to the door, before leaving the now lonely room that felt suffocating without his protective presence by your side, heart heavy, lost in thoughts..

You had made your way into a forest, yet when you looked around..You didn't seem to recognize any pattern nor scenary..

Heart pounding a bit faster, you tried to get from where you came from but no success, this forest seemed to be an endless maze with no issues.

Panic setting in your whole body, before you frooze finding youself cornered by a bunch of hillichurls twice your size, you had forgotten your sword at home and running was your only option left.

You went up for it, running for your life before starting to scream your lovers name, he said that if you ever needed anything calling his name and he'd be here the second you'd open your mouth;

Then why..? Why wasn't he coming..?

His name, heavy footsteps and growls coming from behind were the only thing being heard in the dept of the forest.

He heard you, kept hearing you calling for his name but he couldn't bring himself to come to you..He knew you just wanted to settle things with him..but He couldn't bring himself to meet your gaze, He wasn't worthy of your love.

Yet when you abrubtly stopped calling for him? he suddenly felt uneasy..He took a deep breath, before teleporting to where you were.

There were days where he hated himself the most, but he never felt like dying as much as right now..Your poor frail body, laying on the ground, bruised..barely breathing and blood surrounding you.

His eyes immidiatly got teary as he rushed to craddle your face in-between his hands, yet there you were smilling at the sight of him.

Why were you smilling? Why weren't you throwing curses at him?! If anything you didn't even seem angry at him right now..

"Xiao.." you muttered before putting your soft bloody hand on his tear-soaked cheek, probably smudging the blood on his face by doing so.

He shook his head again and again, this must be a nightmare, this must be a nightmare and you will wake him up in three,two,one..

Yet when he opened his eyes again, your tired gaze was still peering up to him, a sorry look on it.

He kept apologizing, telling you that you both will get help, but he knew deep down that it was already too late..He broke once again one promise made to you, and he had to pay the price..but why, why did you have to suffer through it..

Was this the gods curse on him for being too selfish, greedy in loving someone as pure as you..?

Yet, you kept shaking your head beofre snuggling closer to your lover.

"Please hold me for while Xiao, I am just gonna rest a little bit..I'll wake up later"

While you closed your eyes, hand still gently rubbing his cheek..He kept you near him, quiet sobs escaping him indulging in your last demand from him.

As the sun rose from the dept of the earth, it seemed as if he was taking all of your energy with him and when your hand left Xiao's cheek to fall on your stomach..He knew he had lost forever, agony coming to rest next to him instead of your comforting presence..

your eyes slowly opened to the light shining through the purple tinted glass throwing a beautiful light at your girlfriend baal laying next to you.

she looks so peaceful in this position, like she couldnt even hurt a bug. a sly smile formed on your lips, you hesitated first but slowly brushed a few hair strands out of her beautiful face.

it felt like falling in love all over again, her features were as soft as ever and your love for her grew even more.

her arm was slightly wrapped around your hip. you dont get mornings like these often, after all she is the electro archon and has a busy schedule where she has to get up early in the morning, leaving you alone in your shared bed. however, she never left without leaving a kiss on your temple.

you slowly went to get up to prepare breakfast for the two of you, but as soon as you bent down to give her a kiss, she pulled you back into the bed.

with her eyes still closed and her head laying now on your chest she whispered a small "dont go yet..", nuzzling her head into the crook of your neck. a small laugh left your lips as you slowly nodded and pressed a kiss to her head.

"i love you.." was the last thing you heard before she dozed of again. maybe a few more minutes wouldnt hurt after all..

Eternity was all she seeked, her one and only desire to last forever would overpower everything and anything inside her so-called stone heart, yet for some reason you still managed to fit inside it and always take her off-guard with your undying love and adoration for the person ( more like godess) that was Baal.

Yet as the old saying says "You'd want to keep your cherished ones beside you till the day you die", Baal could agree to it when it came to you, but the thing was : you were a mere mortal and eternity was far out-of-reach for you.

Baal could'nt concieve -imagine- a world without you in it, without you by her side, she had gotten what she wanted, she was going to live forever but if she had to stay eternally without you to make her days brighter in it, she'd rather be dead then or else grief, loneliness and boredom would get her.

she had to come up with a plan that would make you accept her offer, all you needed was one single bite and you'd be able to stay with her forever.

The night she decided was THE night to share her plans with you, hoping you would agree.

She made sure everything was perfect, a nice romantic dinner, a lovely athmosphere was set for the both of you.

You, of course were flattered by this adorable yet so sudden gesture and you were no fool, if she did all of this then she must want to tell you something.

you took a deep breath before deciding to open your mouth letting out your thoughts.

"- Baal, my love..I really do apreciate all the efforts you made for us tonight, it must have taken quite some tiime, right ?

Your lover did nothing but flash a faint smile before turning her attention back to one of the only bird left wondering in this peaceful night.

This only confirmed further your suspicions, she definitly had something going on her mind, you took this as your clue to continue what you were about to say.

"-..but tell me, did you do all of this because you had something you perhaps wanted to share with me?

- Well, is surprising my lover from time to time a bad thing?

She answered rather quickly which meant she was actually expecting you to ask her this type of question, you simply stared into her purple eyes, a faint smile softening your features only to encourage your lover to share with you her troubles.

"-...you know what, you may be right..

She took a long sight before letting her cold hands finding your warm ones, finding comfort even in the slightest touch with you.

- "          ", you have been with me for so long, yet I am afraid of how long you might stay by my side..I know, good things don't last forever..but please, would you allow me to change that..?

As she calmly spoke, her slightly open mouth showed piercing fangs.

You on your side, were nothing but calm yet you knew she disliked agitation and panic so you took quite some time to collect your thoughts breathing slowly.

- You mean..you want to turn me into..a vampire? - Correct ! and of course I need your full consent for this, I am not the best at expressing how I feel but I know exactly what I want and I want you to spend this wole eternity by my side..now tell me would you give me the pleasure and accompagny me in every step ?

you chuckled, thinking it sounded quite like a proposal before looking into your lover's eyes once more and slowly nodding, after all you love Baal and your love for her took over any fear you might have or have had about living forever and what that could bring.

"Good girl" that was her answer and you quickly felt blood rush through your whole body reaching your face, and while you were busy trying to get rid of your blushong face, she simply tapped her thighs indicating you to come and sit on her lap, which you did eyes not daring to meet her piercing gaze.

But she wanted, needed to see your eyes and make sure this was what you wanted as well.

her fingers locked under your chin before slowly lifting your face up to meet her eyes, you both looked at each other in silence for what seemed like ages before you gave her a small nod and slowly letting your head down baring your neck so she could finally do what she wanted for oh..so long.

She stayed silent, letting your overwhelming scent engulf her whole before pressing a gentle kiss to your jaw and neck, before finally piercing your skin and feasting on your blood.

You winced a little due to the pain but it went away quickly as it was replaced with a slight tired euphoric feeling, Baal held you close to her and licked your wound clean when she finished.

 " Thank you..Thank you for staying by my side forever"

She whispered before pressing a gentle kiss against your lips and taking your tired body to rest, a never fading smile on her face..you always made her the happiest.
