MY STORY part 1
I was in middle school, sixth grade, and I was like every other kid. The day started out normal and just like any other day .I went to my third class for the day, P.E. (Phys ed). We did some stretches, and some track that day I felt fine. After lunch my knee was hurting quite a bit but didnt think anything about it. Went home that afternoon and there was still some pain, so I told my mom what my knee felt like. She told me if it still hurt in the morning she would take me to the doctor. The following morning my knee was hurting so bad, it was hot, swollen and purple. I panicked, I didn’t know what to do but cry. My mom rushed me to the hospital, they did everything xray bloodwork MRI etc. “We found nothing” those were practically the doctors words. My reaction was WHAT!?!?!?!
The gave me crutches to be on for six weeks and a knee brace. After it stopped being so bruised and swollen. After that it happened a lot more after that. Typically it happened after I would go out and walk for long periods of time or stretch a lot. It was swollen and got all the time, I favored it so much that my other knee became very weak. My mom would explain to the doctors my symptoms. They would say she is to young for arthritis and fibromyalgia. Maybe she is just really lazy. I just wanted my legs to get better so I could do what I liked to do.
