When it comes to Hip-Hop and religion, most would say that the two do not mix very well. While others would say they love the idea! Well, in this Hip-Hop battle you can see a perfect example of how to flawlessly merge Hip-Hop with a Christian (or any other religion for that matter) based lifestyle. With this platform and type of creativity we hope that "A. Ward" is able to help a misguided youth of today see that it is more to life than just the streets & violence. Even if you do not practice religion just being awake as well as aware is a way better position to be in rather than walking through life blind folded.

When you ask most older black people how they feel about the use of the word “nigga” from people outside their ethnic group, they’ll probably tell you they hate it. We believe music has been a tool utilized in order to shape culture. The Lifestyle design set by those generations before us are changing right before our eyes! As you can see demonstrated in this video clip of Kendrick Lamar performing in Columbus, OH last night.
You are able to see very clearly in this video a wave of people from all different types of ethnicities screaming “nigga” at the top of their lungs. We think it’s clear that Generation Y and beyond have made it clear that they are not concerned with the use of the word but rather the context of how it’s used. Just be cautioned that situations do get taken out of context at times which in this case could result to violence. “So use the word at your own risk but as long as you treat me with respect.. We gone be Alright”
Sincerely:
Generation Y

Lyrics To Lifestyle
“The evolution of Hip-Hop”
Hip-Hop has been one of the fastest moving genres of music to date. Spotify recently named Hip-Hop as the “most world wide streamed genre” on their platform which speaks volumes for music that created in one of the toughest ghettos of New York. During the mid 1970’s when the unnamed style at the time emerged on the scene. A man that went by the name of “Dj Cool Herc” was an early pioneer and has been named by many of his peers to be the creator of Hip-Hop! Herc was born and raised in one of the most poverty-stricken areas in New York at the time, a particular section of the notorious Bronx borough called “South Bronx”. One of the most beautiful aspects of poverty is that it always pushes innovation. People who came from unprivileged lifestyles have always created the most technologies and a lot of which we still consistently use today.
Being without has always been the key factor in the discovery of what’s new. Hip-Hop was created under the same circumstances as Jazz. The reasons we believe Jazz & Hip-Hop have scene so much success over time is because of its authenticity and impromptu elements. These important elements help depict the direct representation of how real black/minority lifestyle design is or can get for most urban people living in the United States. Since most people are here just figuring life out as they go, we believe this is why Hip-Hop is and continues to become the most popular genre of music in the entire world!

What’s your reaction??? A.D. Carson pretty much sums it all up on his new release titled “Familiar”. He described his stand point on the way black people are treated in America piggy backing off the “blackLivesMatter” campaign as he explains how familiar the slaves treatment looks. Since he was not born of that era A.D. will never know how the lifestyle of a slave truly feels. He still feels there pain because in more ways than one he feels how most slaves probably felt from the treatment of their oppressors. He also spoke on how one of the greatest black leadership of all time Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached and hoped for a lifetime of equality but most people already knew the answer to that question. We think it’s safe to say that we have definitely seen progress with race and oppression issues in America, but it is evident that these problems still do exist.
In the second verse Carson spits a line that questions why there is sections of a city that compare their living environments to those of Iraq. A country that has been know to go through much war and tyranny… (At least from what they report to us here in America). A.D. Stands firm in the hook of this song by telling his oppressors that although he isn’t a super activist or participating in every freedom march or rally, just know he understands what’s going on and is prepared! We think a lot of other people feel the same as A.D. , what’s your reaction??? Check out the song and reply your thoughts.

I made fried broccoli for the first time yesterday.. Just wanted to try something different. I got inspired when I saw a picture of this fried delectable goodie on the Instagram page of miamifingalicking.com . Since I've been working so crazy, I haven't had a chance to get back out to Miami and actually have the dish at this fine establishment in person. So, I decided to whip up the dish myself! I actually love to cook and try new foods. This is definitely a dish I would encourage everyone to dive into!
