Okay… let me put this short and sweet for you.

You can. But I would advise your son to not be able to interact with my blog. Here’s why:

1.) My blog has NSFW content on it, that content namely more on the smut side of things, and I’m not saying that’s all there is, but a lot of my content revolves around that. It’s tagged accordingly with the proper tag, but I don’t want people getting the wrong idea. Not all my work is minor friendly.

2.) I am not about to endorse minors to interact with my blog freely. This goes in tandem with my first point.

To summarize: I don’t want minors interacting with my blog. It’s a safety thing. I am an adult as well, so naturally adults will make adult themed content. That is all I will say on the matter.

Does this mean that it has become US law? No. But, regardless we still are not 100% in the clear. For those living in the United States of America, I have a lot of information for you, in this Google Doc.

You’re actually doing Americans a service by helping us out— because not only will this have ramifications on us, but as most popular sites are US based, this bill, if passed through the chambers of the senate, will effect how you get to use the sites you use.

Let’s talk about this. This is something I haven’t seen a lot of in my end, and this new bill may be troubling to not just us as a whole, but content creators. So, this isn’t just exclusive to AO3 anymore. This can go as far as places like Wattpad, Quotev, DeviantArt, and here.

So, to put it bluntly, if you give a fuck, listen.

What is KOSA?

KOSA (Kids Online Safety Act,) is a bill within the United States that was initially created last year with the aim of protecting youth (considerably age 16 and under,) from viewing harmful content online. It has since been updated and reintroduced by Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN.) Now, on surface level, it may seem like this has a good outlook, right? Not in the slightest. This bill, while it may not be passed yet rather introduced, may take an extreme to protect youth and monitor all. Yes, I said monitor.

Not only is NSFW content bound to be flagged, which may totally censor a lot of creators not just on this platform but others, a wider band that is under this new bill is LGBT+ content. According to Senator Blackburn of Tennessee, who is KOSA’s co-author, even education on race discrimination was viewed as “dangerous to kids,” and this soon branches out to race, gender, and sexuality discrimination. This also extends out to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, etc. The bill puts itself in the hands of State Attorney Generals in order for them to use tools of censorship against our rights and safety— not just for the youth, but for adults too, as we may face (giving an example,) hurdles trying to obtain things like legal documents.

How does KOSA work?

KOSA works by acting as a censor and self filter for the internet. By the hands of Attorney State Generals, they ultimately decide what is harmful to kids online. Though, this is a dual edged sword. This would also present the loss of access to information that a large sum of people may not deem dangerous. This again extends outward towards things like depression, substance abuse, etc— complex topics without a clear agreement on causes or solutions. This means that it could also filter, and possibly censor medical information, extending outward to trans medical care as well, which may lead on to silence the transgender community further. This is a very bad thing.

There would still be features like Age Verification, but it also filters legal speech. What I mean by “there will still be features,” to give an example, Tumblr has a tab in settings where you can add your birthday, which in turn verifies how old you are. Tiktok has this feature as well. About filtering legal speech, any kind of media or information that has to do with societal ills that is held on a platform, for example, Tumblr, will enable that platform to be held liable for holding that information. But… it may seem like I’m getting off topic, aren’t I?

So let’s swing back around…

KOSA has the ability to hurt creators on several different platforms. This gives the United States Government unlimited range of control over the internet.

This linktree has at least four different petitions open for you to take action against the bill, and to contact your congressmen and women. There’s also a discord server that’s dedicated to stopping KOSA from passing.

By doing this, you are spreading your voice. You are helping millions of people nationally— creators, artists, writers, everyone.

A/N: So, this isn’t really amnesia, but I thought it was funny and I just really needed to get this out of my head.

“I know it’s a lot to take in, especially considering my dramatic exit-“

“You died!” Rusty cut him off.

“No! Well, technically yes, but no. I’m not dead.”

“What the hell does that even mean?” Stefan yelled, exasperated.

“My heart stopped for I don’t even know how long, and then I woke up in the hospital,” Cole explained. “The doctors said I had bruising on my chest, so somebody had to have revived me.“

“Then where the fuck have you been?” Jack barked. He was so confused and angry he could barely think. He had grieved for this man, mourned him. Now, here he was, sitting in front of him, pretty banged up, but alive.

“In the fucking hospital! Where else?” Cole exclaimed, gesticulating at their surroundings.

“You didn’t think it was weird that nobody called or visited you?” Asked Herschel, the calmest out of the group.

“I didn’t think anyone would want to be seen with me.” Cole said, deflating and looking despondently at the floor.

Hey I read the snow drive affogato hcs and I simply adored them!

I loved it!

Though now I can't help but be curious what general dating hcs for cookie run kingdom affogato are and what snowy drive affogato and crk affogato would have in common lmao...sorry if that's a stupid question and I feel as if I'm asking for the same thing twice lol...though they are different affgatos, they are still affogato! Again so sorry and you don't have to do this ask if you don't want to or feel like it's the same thing twice!

Generally, the hcs that I wrote can also be attributed to CRK!Affogato. However, SD!Affogato is taken a little differently.

My version of Affogato, unlike canon, it’s very kin to comfort and self assurance, security, etc, due to his childhood being the way it was. After the events of SNOWY DRIVE II, the overblot, not only was he physically wounded but he was mentally drained, plus with everything the reader went though with Lico/RV. Due to these things it’s changed his perspective on relationships, and how he needs to take you. SD!Affogato has to relearn how to take you, after the whole incident basically.

The hcs that align closer to CRK!Affogato, especially the Dirty Dancing hc, are the ones in my opinion to be more fun and easygoing. Affogato is a cool, happenin, and flamboyant dude in canon, so I wanted to yk… have that show a little bit. 🤭

In summary, SD!Affogato is more in tune with himself, is more reserved, and is a little more impulsive than canon. Hope that helps!

Red Velvet Cookie — family headcanons

【cw!】 the project hangs off of canon, however, some headcanons present here may not align with what actually happens in CRK.

Red Velvet is the oldest brother of two. However, as Red Velvet was birthed to White Lily, Madeline, his younger brother, was birthed to Grand Madeline Cookie, making them half brothers by the same father, Pure Vanilla.

Both of them are mixed, with one showing more traits of one ethnicity than the other. Red Velvet and Madeline are both blasian, (Korean mix but shows more features from the other side,) and Madeline shows more Korean features than the other.

During RV’s younger years, he was extremely close to his younger brother. He was the rock that Madeline had to stop him from getting too hyper or rambunctious.

They did everything together. But something was off… Red Velvet didn’t look much like White Lily or Pure Vanilla. The only thing he seemed to have are his father’s eyes— that perfect sky blue. Madeline didn’t mind this though— he sometimes thought it was really cool standing next to him.

White Lily was pregnant with Red Velvet during her transformation into Dark Enchantress. As her DNA was being rewritten, his would follow hers, which is the reason why RV looked the way he did.

When the war broke out, Dark Enchantress, (formally white lily,) revolted, and took Red Velvet with her by force, and taking him to where the Sweet Tower of Chaos was to be located. Some time after this, Red Velvet often disobeyed his mother, trying to leave, wanting to be with his brother again… at one cost.

On one of his escape attempts, Red Velvet was attacked by a wolf. This attack left him with a very heavy gash right around his rotator cuff, and it left his arm hanging for dear life. He tried to escape the wolf shortly after the attack, but it didn’t help that he was limping and that he was out of breath, tired, and jam was everywhere. The smell of the jam lured the wolf back to Red Velvet where the wolf would eventually take his arm.

Dark Enchantress found him the morning after, and that day was the day he received his prosthetic.

Despite being away from his oldest son, he made no attempt to try and look for him out of fear that it may put Red in an even more dangerous position.

Because of this, because PV lost one of his most greatest creations, his child, he started his whole purity conquest thing.

Madeline would stay back at the palace and receive training— formal etiquette and guardsmen ship.

Red Velvet on the other hand, Dark Enchantress continued to care for her son until he turned thirteen years old, where she deemed him self sufficient. She slowly drew herself away from Red Velvet, causing him to grow up the rest of his adolescent years nearly without a parental figure. He is self trained in combat, self taught when it came to his education… he did mostly everything by himself for himself.

Only some odd 10-15 years later do they see each other again, and that’s because Red Velvet finally ventures out to look for them… after so long.
