How does tattooing over scars work in your experience? I have a huge back scar and I was wondering if ink reacted differently (clarity, vibrancy, longevity, etc) on scar tissue.

So! It really depends on the type of scar tissue we’re dealing with- age and skin type has a lot to do with this. Sometimes tattoos can heal lighter over scars, and I’ve seen them heal darker. Some folks have never had either issue, though you can still see the raised skin where the scars are. What I personally recommend is have a consult with an experienced artist that has worked with scars before! They can tell you with more confidence then myself what your options are! ✌🏻 Hope that helps!
