This project has been such a journey and I’m so excited to finally share it! Things took a little longer than planned (life happens) but it was so worth it to see everything come together in the end

I want to give a massive thank-you to Emma ( @emjayeingray ), the most patient and talented binder I could have hoped to work with. She made this process so fun, and her creativity and kindness made brainstorming ideas an absolute joy. She is a true gem and ofc the final binding is just stunning!

And, of course, thank you to @vellichorbindery for inviting me to participate in this amazing exchange.

For my part, I worked on the art on the cover and the little sketches printed inside the pages. Seeing it all bound so beautifully by Emma made all the effort so worth it.

Also a huge shout out to @mollymarymarie who wrote this masterpiece !!

This started out as a blind bind for me but I started reading while I was typesetting and just fell in love with this story and now it’s one of my favorites 🥹

I made my own bookcloth using fabric from spoonflower. The painting on the fabric is Van Gogh “Wheat Field with Cypresses.” Endpaper art is by @lyrablack1883 whose Drarry art is unmatched 😍

Dear Your Holiness by @mollymarymarie bound in collaboration with my darling @earlgreymoony GORGEOUS custom art for our darling @honeyymoonyy as part of the #cruelmarauderssummer exchange!

I remember Ana talking to me about how cool it would be to have a window pane stained glass effect when you actually open the book so that’s exactly what we did and I am so happy with how it turned out!

I don’t even want to talk about how much material I used getting these binds perfect but I’m so grateful for Ana and Mel (who I couldn’t keep the secret from for very long lol) who were my little cheerleaders the whole time. Thank you bbs for being so patient while I got these done.

Hosting this exchange with @vellichorbindery indery was the funnest thing ever and I am so incredibly proud of and in awe of everyone who participated. You guys are the absolute best 🫶🏼 we want to host another artist/binder collab exchange so keep an eye out!

I love making octavos and when I read this fic I knew I had to make it. It such a sweet and heartwarming story, i can’t recommend it enough, and Im so happy I was able to make copies for the super talented authors and for the lovely @inkstainedforever

It was also the perfect opportunity for me to try making a paperback for the first time, and I loved the technique
