Did Alastor and Vox argued a lot? Asking bc the memory of vox in chapter 7 of "Rotten in your marrow" were both of them are having an ugly argument

Hm, yeah, I guess they did? They're both a bit too similiar to really get along smoothly, they're bound to butt heads at any rate

Plus, Vox is a boxhead and Alastor is a prissy princess, they were never going to lounge around together in bubble baths

It is an irony that Alastor and Vox love each other so much, yet neither believes that the other loves them back. They need to be honest with each other, admit their faults, and reassure one another about their insecurities.

Alastor feels insecure feels he is never enough, believing that Vox chose Elliot, Valentino, and even Redfall over him. He thinks he needs to be something he is not just to keep Vox by his side. He also feels horrible about the abuse he endured and thought that Vox was disgusted with him.

Meanwhile, Vox always felt that, at first, he was just a plaything to Alastor. He never heard Alastor say that he loved him back and often felt that Alastor made decisions for both of them without even consulting him.

Hello, I adore your series Cash or Check! I was wondering about the nature of Alastor's illness. Vox said something like every other month he runs a fever, and he gets extreme nausea and can't eat. What is causing it? Does it have something to do with his Sinner biology, or is it maybe triggered by stress or negative emotions, or did Hell just decide it was a fitting punishment for a cannibal?

As for the sickness, I was taking inspiration from the uh "zombie deer" disease where they (if I remember right) get overtaken by a parasite and literally turn into zombies - the only cure then is a mercy shot in the head :D
