What do you see in this painting? This painting, like all my pieces, has some obvious meanings and other hidden clues to let the viewer become aware of emotions, thoughts, ideas and lead them to search within themselves. I love listening to your interpretations, many times I get messages about what my work makes you feel or what you think it is about and I am fascinated to be able to witness the power of art. How it opens different universes through different people. During my visit to the @metmuseum , I became passionate about Egyptian culture and religion and realized that the only thing I knew were stories of aliens, so I started studying. This piece is 1/3 . The name hasn't arrived yet, I'm giving it space, time. People refer to the God Ra (one of the most important Egyptians gods), through the Egyptian Scarab Beetle. 🪲 It's a symbol of protection against disease and death. It's also interpreted as a symbol of resurrection. You know (maybe you don't 🤔 lol) that I love gold. And a lot of my art has gold foil, and it always represents connection to the Divine; sacredness. So this is a very personal interpretation of Strength. Spot the 90's kid item 😂 on it too. And if you wish, share with me your interpretation on this piece. Little by little I learn to observe. And I feel blessed to know how to witness and stay as still as I can to witness the magic unfold. Then I understood that my path required that I transfer all those clues that I see to the canvas and this story is no exception. Just at the perfect moment, the perfect message appeared. I was coming back from walking in the woods and I saw an oil stain on the street that immediately reminded me of Helix (a nebula commonly known as the eye of God), later while I was cooking, through the window I could see a blue bird playing in the bushes and I stood for minutes looking at him and smiling. I didn't take a picture of him because I was busy enjoying him playing, but then I googled it and it turned out to be a blue jay. Here’s the result. The meaning of the blue jay is a sign of good communication and a sign to persist. It symbolizes protection and fearlessness. Helix is ​​the closest nebula we can see from earth and it advertises the death of the stars, in this piece is immerse in the never ending universe. For me is an interpretation of the stars as the beliefs, as the separate shiny ideas, those will die and will melt into the vastness of the Universe which will prevail. The wood, through time, has come to represent integrity, strength, sensitivity and protection. I decided not to be so detailed in this piece but to use free strokes and let the painting appear as free as the message is. ¿Sabes cuál es otra forma de arte? El fluir. Es más delicada y me atrevería a decir que requiere más gracia que aprender alguna habilidad técnica. Me gusta estar lo más atenta que puedo, para entonces poder ver todas las pistas que se me presentan para fluir más, para soltar más, para ser más libre. El otoño en mi nueva ciudadcita me recuerda que todo tiene su tiempo perfecto, no todos los árboles cambian de color al mismo tiempo. Me recuerda que todo pasa, que donde había calorcito, también hay frío. Que el viento todo se lo lleva, todo menos la consciencia eternamente quieta que lo observa todo. Leí que ayer fue el día internacional de la belleza, o de la bonités, como yo diría. En mi estancia en este planeta me he dado cuenta de algunas cosas, como por ejemplo que la belleza no se trata acerca de la apariencia. Me parece más como una energía de cuidado del Ser, de ese único Ser que somos todos. Mientras más se interesa alguien por apreciar, agradecer y amar a los demás más belleza irradia. Ayer hice esta acuarela recordando la belleza de la creación sólo por el amor a crear. Sin estudio, sin mis miles de materiales, sin mesa, pero con amor infinito, puro y vivo. Al final fue un poco complicado dar los últimos detalles porque…vean la ultima foto 📷 ☁️ I read that yesterday was the international day of beauty, or “beautiness”, as I would say. •Les poissons• One of my favorite hobbies is fishing. 🎣 For now I have only fished in the ocean and I love it! I did “Les poissons” in honor of the fascination that the sea and its mysteries cause me. I also returned to the nature of watercolor: Not controlling. This time I did not design the piece, I did not plan it, I did not draw it first, I just put water and pigment on the paper, without restriction, without perfect lines, only stains. And I also painted them because we had an accident in my little family, Hubby spilled Ophelia's Omega 3 bottle on the floor and the whole place smelled like fish 😖 so instead of resisting it, I decided to make a watercolor according to the smell 🐟 🐟 🐟 🐟 Uno de mis hobbies favoritos es la pesca. Por lo pronto sólo he pescado en mar abierto y me encanta. Hice “Les poissons” en honor a la fascinación que me causa el mar y sus misterios. También volví a la naturaleza de la acuarela: No controlar. Esta vez no diseñé la obra, no la planeé, no la dibujé, sólo fui poniendo agua y manchando con acuarela, sin restricción, sin líneas perfectas, sólo manchas. Y también los pinté porque en mi pequeña familia tuvimos un accidente. As some of you know, I love the woods and it happens to be part of my new tiny town. I’ve been taking a lot of pictures and extracting the colors of my new little town.
