we haven't heard any noise from him since chapter 1, and looking through the window in chapter 4 shows that the kitchen is normal (?) and the house is messy (?!?!?!)

sans was also really cagey about why the hangout plans were canceled, and we still don't know what the event was that caused the brothers to move.

maybe it has something to do with the shelter? i know susie suggests that the pine tree is related to the holidays, but the other two symbols refer to undertale characters (police badge and deltarune being undyne and toriel respectively). the pine tree could be referencing snowdin.

since i rarely find a relevant place to mention this....

there's this one amazing indie game called "scratches," whose publishing rights got sent to the shadow realm after the distribution company went out of business. the developer actually promotes pirating it, just so that people can still play it.

it's a super hard puzzle game with a slow build up, so my adhd means that i wasn't able to play it myself, but i watched a playthrough and it managed to beat out mouthwashing for my favorite horror game. i recommend it, though you'll almost definitely need a walkthrough because good god, that lockbox puzzle is ridiculous.
