I have not written characters yet, however, there will be HEAVY topics. Because it was the 60’s. I.e. ED’s, since skinniness and being baby doll-like in the 60’s was prominent, abortion, assault, racism, misogyny, drug use, abuse, etc. And it will not be pretty. Obv it won’t be extremely graphic like a splatterpunk would be, but it will be realistic.

It will be written from the perspective of a soc girl.

That’s all I have for right now, but you guys get the gist. So, if y’all would like, pls comment some ideas. I’m completely open to everything <3

still thinking about the brainrot that fast fashion has caused in people, like i made this pair of pants that are black and white with a cool flowery design, and an acquaintance saw them and said "wow i'd pay like 20 dollars for you to make me a pair" and i could barely think with how utterly horrified i was at that; i told them that 20 dollars wouldn't even cover the materials, let alone the hours of work that went into cutting, sewing, ironing, hemming, altering, etc. they just had this look on their face when i told them that, when i said i wouldn't make them a pair for even 100 dollars because that was still way too low of an amount, a look that said "you're crazy for thinking that those cost 100 dollars" and maybe i am crazy but holy shit, 20 dollars for a pair of handmade, durable, lined pants fitted specifically to your measurements? 20 dollars for upwards of 60 hours of work? 20 dollars for several yards of high-quality fabric, thread, and buttons? 20 dollars???

Does anyone else think about what being a girl in Tulsa would’ve been like?

Like, it’s set in the 60’s. Women couldn't even own credit cards—and this was in Tulsa, OKLAHOMA. The city was split right down the middle, Pony and Johnny got jumped just for talking to Cherry, but what do you think Cherry would’ve gotten told? Greaser and Soc boys barely treated each other like humans, how would a Soc boy act to a Greaser girl? I love Dallas as a character, but you can't deny that him saying he was going to jump Cherry is terrifying. It just sounds horrifying. I’m sure girls were treated like pawns and items—Cherry being the most “valuable” for example since she was a pretty Soc and Sandy being deemed as “easy” for being a greaser who cheated on her boyfriend—and even just how the girls treated EACHOTHER.

…and I’m got to write a fanfic about it (maybe).
