Neutral Good: Círdan, the MVP of Middle Earth. Seriously, everyone would have been screwed without him.

I looked up what he looked like in RoP and damn if it wasn't spot on to what I'd been imagining. I gave him wave patterns for his tunic, and his brooch is meant to mimic Narya (which he is also wearing).

Happy Russingon Week! Here's a quick sketch based on tehumi's fic Shrike on Ao3, in which Fingon is reincarnated as a hawk. It caused emotional damage.

(I got too excited to reference De arte venandi cum avibus that I forgot that Fingon was in fact a hawk, and not a falcon as I drew him. Anyway, here he is based on a gyrfalcon, a favorite hunting bird of medieval kings and native to the Arctic)

Being an elfling in third-age middle earth must be so annoying. You mention that it's a little chilly out only for one of those first-age elves to pop up and say you think this is cold? back in my day we spent thirty years of torment crossing the Grinding Ice with naught but Varda's stars to provide light in the evil darkness. i lost 3 toes.

Or you mention that your arms are sore and a guy that is more scar than elf screams across the training ground that Maedhros The Tall was hung by his wrist from the peak of Thangorodrim for thirty long years and you never heard HIM complaining.
