The Time Machine

#marutisuzuki800 was more than a car, its that hashtag#timemachine which carries me through those hashtag#nostalgiclamhe. It all started with my uncle’s Maruti 800, I use to get rides once I reach my aunt's house in my vacations. When it was parked, the car transformed into our secret playground. My siblings and I would jump into the front seats and pretend we were on an epic journey. The gear shift wasn’t just for driving—it was a lever that took us through time, from the past to the future, like a sci-fi adventure waiting to unfold. We took turns ‘driving’ it to imaginary places, fulfilling our fantasies of racing through city streets, cruising on to the highways, or even escaping to magical lands. When the night fell and everyone slept, me, my brother and my cousin we all would sneak out for a silent ride, rob some money from my uncle’s wallet, quietly get the keys, and go for a car ride. Sometimes, we would even eat roadside red chinese food on the car bonnet in-style. It was fun! The beach trips with the family. It carried laughter, stories, and the salty breeze and sands of the ocean. The feeling of sand under our feet, the scent of the sea, and the warmth of togetherness are still etched in my mind. The red chair - an iconic design etched in our collective memory. But for me, it’s more than just a piece of furniture; it’s a time machine.

I vividly remember family weddings where my siblings and I spent hours stacking these chairs higher and higher, competing to build the tallest tower. The thrill of climbing to the top, the rush of sitting on the shaky stack, feeling like the king of the world... it’s all still so vivid.

Neera

A sap extracted from palm trees, known as Palm Nectar or Neera, holds a special place in my childhood memories. The extraction process typically takes place before sunrise. As the temperature rises, fermentation occurs.

I vividly remember waiting eagerly during family and friend road trips. As we passed through small villages, I'd excitedly spot Neera stalls along the highways. We'd stop for a refreshing sip, and those brief breaks were always exciting. Even now, the memory of that sweet, refreshing taste remains nostalgic and unforgettable.

With a pencil tucked behind his ear, Kunal exudes a swag that’s hard to miss. His positivity is contagious, inspiring his team to push beyond their limits, and perhaps that’s his secret sauce for success. After all, he’s a Gujju who knows business like the back of his hand, navigating the world of commerce with the same ease as Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne. And just like them, he’s always prepared, always one step ahead, and always suits up to impress—even if it’s just in a humble white shirt.

Soul kadi

it’s a drink made out of coconut milk with goodness of kokam, ginger, chilli and coriander.

Solkadi is the drink which I was introduced by my aunt staying in pen, near Panvel. During our summers when we use to go her place for vacations she used to cook marathi style food and we all use to love it. The ‘vatti’ of solkadi with food always touched my soul.

The obsession of vatti of solkadi gradually turned into the glass of soul kadi over the years. In today’s time when I am so done trying all the cuisines around but the freshness and simplicity of marathi cuisine never goes off and will always be my priority over everything.

Steamy Local

The thought that came to my mind when I step out at Andheri station from Vasai 8:47 a.m. local train. The time when most Mumbaikars fear travelling, but still step out of their homes daily with aspirations and dreams to accomplish for themselves and their families. An hour ago, my freshly steam-ironed shirt that I adjusted looking in the mirror at home, is now a crumpled piece of cloth on my body, with an unforgiving grip of the steamy local train. The steam formed with every Mumbaikar’s frustration, ego, arguments, farts, fights & hustles, not only dampens my shirt but also leaves me with cracked ribs, a weary soul, and a broken tiffin inside my bag. The fight for space is a common for Mumbaikars, from the city’s residential complexes to our Mumbai local compartment. With no space to stand or breathe, we’re monkeys hanging on footboards, clueless if we will even reach our offices safely. This experiences always leaves me with a question; how much longer can I withstand this restless pressure? And how to find a balance amid the chaos. Do share some love ❤️ keeping making dope stuff, always 🙂

‘Consistency is the key to success’ that we have always heard from successful creators around. After knowing the mantra still I was consistently inconsistent in my creative journey! I lost my spider tingle. Creating the enviorment with the all the inspirations around, all small things you bought in years, adding things you love helped me.
