We are always our own worst critics. We tend to focus on what we hate the most about ourselves and see only that, to the absolute exclusion of all the beautiful and amazing parts of us that are so obvious to everyone else. Because of that, we have a hard time believing that we are worthy of the admiration and desire of others. We think that people are just being nice or kind- when really all they are doing is stating what they find obvious. You’re quite worthy. Believe it.
