🍓 The Strawberry Moon rises tonight, a moon of ripening, of sweetness after struggle, and of love that deepens with the heat of summer. It feels right that under this moon, I share something close to my heart: my upcoming standalone fantasy novel is no longer just a whisper from the edge of the Common Realms. It’s now Book 4 of the Chronicles of Song Crye.

I’ve always believed in the magic of beginnings: those fragile, liminal moments before a journey truly begins. The soft tension between two people when fate hasn’t yet declared its hand. The sparkle of moonlight on water, just before the tide shifts. This novel was born from one such moment. A single spark. A chance encounter on a moonlit beach.

Writing this book nearly broke me in the best way, because these characters don’t let go. There were tears. There was wine and a particular scene that absolutely ruined me (you’ll know it when you read it). But more than anything, there was love. Love for these broken, beautiful characters. Love for the world and life, they desperately tried to build together. And love for you, for reading, for embracing the shadows and returning again and again.
