Jaskier didn’t mean to hurt anyone. Not ever, and most definitely not then, when he was writing his next hit song. The piece was meant for a single person, and that person only. Something about it didn’t make sense to him, but he didn’t care. He needed to let his feelings out, tell the world how badly he’d been hurting - show them the true feelings of their favourite bard. And so he began writing. With every word he wrote, he grew more and more tired of it. The song, or rather performing it, would be the death of him. He held the pen, gripping it tight, and kept on writing. Even when he was out of breath, he kept on going. His bloodshot eyes were stinging like crazy, as he reread the words he’d already finished writing. His fingers traced the curve of his lute. He had to admit he always liked the smoothness of its sides. Even then, in a minimalistic flat he had booked for the night. The beautiful instrument showered in the moonlight, giving out an ethereal aura. Jaskier held his muse close. He needed the feeling of his skin against the strings. He began strumming. “I hear you’re alive, how disappointing…” He sang quietly.

Summary: Mycroft Holmes didn't know he'd find himself in awe of Detective Inspector Lestrade the first time they saw each other. Neither did he know he was going to wake up in the other's arms one morning, knowing that said Inspector was in fact all his. That moment changed him forever. Greg Lestrade didn't think he'd fall in love with a posh arsehole hiding behind a mask of 'I hate every living and breathing person on this planet'. Neither did he predict finding himself completely dependent on the other. The night that came after changed him forever.

Highlight: “Well, hello. How was work?” Greg hummed, all the previous stress immediately fading.

“Quite good. Or, should I say, as good as it could be, given my position.”

“You mean ‘shit’, don’t you.”

“Quite so.”

The two exchanged amused looks, before they both sat at the table.

“Whatever it is, it looks delicious,” Holmes commented, his lips curling into a soft smile.

“The ‘whatever it is’ gave you away, darling.” Greg noted.

“In my defence, I don’t know what that is.”

“A lasagna. Haven’t you read the Garfield comics as a kid?”

“The what comics?”

Greg fell silent for a moment. Seconds later, he cleared his throat, and shook his head violently. “That’s child abuse.”

“Excuse me?”

“What did you watch? Read? What was your go-to cartoon when you were little?”

“I don’t know how that’s important-”

“You don’t know Garfield, this is a matter of great importance. Life and death situation.” He murmured, a serious glare on his face.

Some Lokius headcanons:

- when they sleep together in bed, mobius has to take the left side and loki the right

- mobius got his hands on a few cooking magazines and somehow learnt to cook and just makes breakfast for loki every morning

- mobius has a whole collection of movies from midgard in his apartment, and he has quite a number under the horror genre. when he and loki watch horror movies together mobius acts tough but deep down is really scared but loki sees through him and cuddles with him

- the second time they kissed loki took a stack of books and placed it before mobius

"whats it for?"

"for you to stand on."

since then loki always teased mobius on their height difference

- mobius has a car and he would always take loki for a drive, but when loki gets bored of mobius' careful driving he would switch places with mobius and earn them three speeding tickets

current wip and word count: the wip is titled Turning Page on AO3 and 'the one where one of them dies and the other one is really sad and I can listen to another love by tom odell' in my folder. The word count is 42786 at the moment.

new wip I've started: Officially it's untitled. Unofficially it's called 'i'm gonna write a book about gay villains' and I've already finished the prologue.
