My second home - Mi segunda casa
Menorca is an island that I could write about forever. It is my home and haven every year and I do not know what I would do without it <3
Menorca es una isla sobre la que podría escribir para siempre. Es mi hogar y mi refugio todos los años y no sé lo que haría sin ella <3

I bought this BarryM Colour Correcting Kit the other day from Superdrug for £5.99. I’ve never tried colour correcting before but I thought I’d give this one a go. I used the coral colour on the dark circles under my eyes and the green colour on some areas of redness. I have not yet used the other two shades. The coral colour definitely made some difference, as did the green. So far, I am impressed with this product. I feel that I need to play around with it to see if I can get it to work a bit better, and make more of a difference to balance my skin complexion.

I’ve never bought MAC lipsticks before but I thought I would give it a try. I ordered 2 shades: ‘Velvet Teddy’ and ‘Diva’, and as it was my first online shop with them, I got 10% off and a free prep and prime skin base visage sample, which I have yet to try. I bought these shades before I purchased the Models Own lipsticks (reviewed in a previous post), which I thought I could compare them to, but both of the MAC lipsticks are a couple of shades darker. (which I have reviewed in a previous post). Although,  The MAC lipsticks were £15.50 each, which is a lot more than I would usually pay. As they are MAC products, I was expecting really high quality, and they definitely were! They are really soft to apply and the pigment is great, so I only needed to apply one layer when I put it on. They barely rubbed off during the day, and I was really impressed with them. I would recommend them, although it is a bit of an investment.

Lately I have been wearing a lot of nude or dark red/purple lipsticks, so I decided to buy these from Superdrug ‘Oh so nude’ and ‘My secret’. They were £3.99 each. I had never bought from the Models Own brand before but I was really impressed with it. The colours are really pretty and went on nicely. I feel that the colour is a bit lighter when wearing it compared to what it looks like on the box. I thought the darker shade would be more purple, but it was more like a burgundy red, and the nude is very light, but they are both still really lovely. They really suited my pale skin tone!
