ok so something i just realized cause if this is the case imagine eventually charlie become convinced that everyone she loves or cares about will eventually leave her behind or die

so when she starts the hotel she doesnt want to get too attached to anyone who stays at the hotel cause in her mind she's knows that they're going to leave whether it's because they get redeemed or for other reasons

and in the end she got too attached to them and in one way she got hurt again(cause of pentious' death) but now she's also not alone anymore

something i realized a while back, so we know that pre-canon charlie and lucifer barely had a relationship and only interacted with each other if needed and we know that lilith disappeared 7 years ago and only meets vaggie 3 years ago and from what we know charlie doesn't really have anyone else other than them and the others at the hotel

so that means for 4 years charlie was almost completely alone with the only person she had left only even calling her if he needed her to do something for him

headcannon that lilith and charlie used to help manage lucifers wings like cleaning and preening it and it was like family bonding time

and now that vaggie got her wings back charlie does the same with her helping her manage it and even though she doesn't have as much wings as lucifer and can do it herself easily she still lets charlie help

so we know that someone is going to die this season, and we also know that lucifer and lilith are still in love with each other despite splitting up, so imagine lucifer dies, charlie is heartbroken, and then lilith comes back

she comes back planning on how to make things right between her and her family, and when she reunites with charlie, she asks about lucifer, where he is, and how he's doing only to find out he's dead

he died while she was gone, he died possibly believing she didn't love him anymore and now she can never tell him that she does love him and that she never wanted to leave them but she had to

something i find funny about alastor pretending to be a father figure to charlie is the fact that charlie is way older than him

im not sure if anyone's made a fic like this yet but i've been thinking about this since yesterday, so basically imagine after the last episode charlie decides she needs advice and also needs to get away for a while to think (and possibly also to avoid vaggie), so she calls lucifer and asks if she can stay at his place for a day or two or something like that he agrees because hes worried about what happened to her during the meeting with heaven and because he also wants a chance to bond with her, he also tells her that she's welcome to stay/visit there anytime she needs, so charlie leaves for a while and leaves a note at the hotel so they don't get worried or try to look for her, she ends up bonding more with her dad and he gives her advice (about heaven, the hotel, and vaggie) and it ends with her going back to the hotel with a plan to fix things or more determination to find a way to fix things
