Valyn's Refsheet finally done!!

....You have no idea how happy I am with the end result! I did practice him a lil while ago, but I never got the face right back then.

Eventually I had doodled him again and thought ''yep, this is it.''

Soo off to concept art I went. The refsheet is mostly done, but I will make additional sheets for extra outfits at some point, as well as a mortal vs vampire sheet.

Working on ocs like this is always exciting ! But I have one more refsheet to work on next before I start drawing comics again comfortably. Just a... Very important background character.

One thing that changed from my notes is the tattoo, I found the design would fit better in a different location.

I used royalty free stock image of pigeons for the design, just slightly adjusted their positions and added branches. Kept that simple.

Loki and Moira’s First Meeting 😅

When Loki and Moira first met, they were not a fan of each other. Loki didn't like Moira due to her being human, while Moira didn't like Loki 'cause he saw her as just prey. Throughout their first meeting, Loki never once called Moira by her actual name, which pissed her off!

Monsters have a tendency to not view humans as important or equal, so they never refer to humans by their name. After all, humans are simply just prey to kill and devour.

A Playful Cat & A Grumpy Cat 😾

I always imagine Loki and Moira as cats with different personalities. Moira is the energetic one who likes to cause trouble and play fight, while Loki is the calmer one who likes to hide or lurk around, not wanting to be disturbed. While they differ a lot, they get along and love each other.

Dia De Los Muertos/Day of the Dead 💀

Here is a drawing of Moira, Astrid, and Rue celebrating the Day of the Dead! I wanted to draw my Latina characters all dressed up together.

While Astrid and Moira dawn dresses, Rue isn't one for feminine clothes, so I put her in a suit. All of the outfits and face makeup are taken from or inspired by photographs of the Day of the Dead.
